Hallelujah, we’re no longer only the old creation – we now have God in us! It is so good to be reminded what the new creation is, and that we need to live in the reality of the new creation today!
I enjoyed this so much in the second message from the video training on the Crystallization study of Isaiah (2) – Living in the Reality of the New Creation. You know, Martha was busy with so many things, being drawn about and occupied with many other things than the Lord Himself. But Mary has chosen the ONE THING that is needed – she just sat at the Lord’s feet to listen to His words.
This ONE THING is also the one thing in Psa. 27:4 – “One thing I have asked from Jehovah; That do I seek: To dwell in the house of Jehovah All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in His temple”.
This is what we want to do today – we want to behold the Lord, be infused with His word, with the Lord’s vision and with His burden – and to inquire of Him based on the burden that we have received in our being. There are two aspects of this:
- First of all, our life depend on the Lord’s word spoken to us – in Eph. 5:26, we are sanctified and cleansed by the washing of the water in the Word. The way we are being prepared to be the Bride of Christ is by the washing of the water of the Lord’s instant speaking to us.
- Then, our work depends on His commands – just like the young boy Samuel in 1 Sam. 3:9-10, the first and foremost thing we need to do when we serve the Lord or do something for Him is to say, Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening! In Acts 22:10 Paul asked the Lord, What shall I do, Lord? – O, blessed are the ones who ask this question! We need to firstly come to the Lord and ask of Him, inquire of Him, so that we may serve Him according to His desire and preference!
Lord, make my heart a duplication of Your heart, so that what weighs on Your heart would also weigh on my heart, so that I may live and serve in the reality of Your economy! May Your burden become my burden!
Hallelujah, God is NEW! Our Father is the evergreen (hymns #16). We were born in the old creation and then when we received the Lord we were re-born into the new creation – where everything is new because God is in it!
Eventually, we will be consummated as the NEW Jerusalem, because we will be completely filled, soaked, saturated, united, mingled, and incorporated with the Triune God who is new!
In this new creation according to His new covenant, God have us a new spirit to contact, receive, and contain the NEW God! Also, He gave us a new heart to desire God and love God! We are a new creation in Him!
You know, every morning when we wake up, according to Lam. 3:22-23, the Lord’s compassions do not fail – they are new every morning! Every morning we can enjoy the New God afresh.
Even more, in 2 Cor. 5:17 we see that we are a new creation, and in Gal. 6:15 nothing matters (circumcision, uncircumcision, etc) – what matters is the new creation! The new creation is, simply speaking, the old creation with God in it!
God has worked Himself into man to make man of the old creation a new creation with God’s life and nature in it! This is what matters – a new creation! We as believers want to be daily living in the reality of this new creation!
In 2 Cor. 4:16-17 we see that even though our outer man is decaying, our inner man is being renewed day by day! Our momentary lightness of affliction is working in us more abundantly an eternal weight of glory!
Day by day, in an unseen way, as we enjoy the Lord and turn to Him in all things little by little, we are being daily renewed! And we no longer pay attention to the things which are seen(which are temporary), but more and more pay attention to the things which are eternal.
We more and more pay attention to and enjoy the things unseen – which is God in Christ, the un-seen God, who is NEW!

Thank You, Lord, for making us a new creation! We want to take time to just enjoy You and pay attention to You! Lord, continue to renew us every day, little by little! Work Yourself into every fiber of our being! Make Your heart’s desire our heart’s desire! Work Yourself into our mind and renew our mind – make our mind new! Thank You we have the NEW God in us – making us a new creation!
Praise the Lord! 'morning by morning, new mercies I see'!
