God Carries out His Economy by the Spirit’s Sanctification to Sonize us Divinely

For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers. Heb. 2:11

The divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy to sonize us divinely; we were “hooked” by God through His sanctifying work, and we’re being sanctified day by day until we are fully glorified to be the New Jerusalem, the holy city! Wow, Hallelujah!

The more we read the Bible, especially the New Testament, the more we love the Lord, for we realize how much He loves us, how much He does for us, and what a glorious destiny He has for us.

He initiated our salvation and sanctification; even before we were born, God chose us.

He chose us in Christ in eternity past to be holy. He predestined us to be the sons of God, even to become the same as God in life and nature but not in the Godhead (Eph. 1:4-5).

It was not mainly our seeking heart or pursuing spirit that brought us closer to God and made Him have mercy on us to save us from eternal perdition.

Rather, it is in God’s heart to save us. Look at the case of the apostle Paul; he was not only not seeking Christ but rather, he was “breathing murder” against the followers of Christ.

In his heart, he thought he was serving God, but in reality, he was actually opposing God and cooperating with the enemy to destroy the people of God.

But God predestinated him and chose him to be a chosen vessel who would be filled with God, so no matter what Paul did, God still met him and revealed Himself to him. What a God we have!

We may not be like Paul but we definitely had a particular background, and God met us where we are, and He infused something of His element into us. Thank the Lord!

Now that we are believers in Christ, He continues to sanctify us wholly, even to preserve our whole being complete, so that at His coming we may be fully glorified to be redeemed and be with Him for eternity.

On our side, we simply need to be open vessels to the Lord; we need to open our vessel to be filled with Him.

We need to open to the Lord and enjoy Him, contact Him, and fellowship with Him.

Furthermore, we need to place ourselves under the hearing of the faith, being in the word of God with an exercised spirit and a turned heart, and being in the meetings of the church where the Lord’s shining is.

As long as we keep our being open to the Lord and remain in fellowship with Him in His word and in the meetings of the church, the element of God in us will grow, and we will be sanctified.

God wants us to sonize us divinely, that is, to make us divine sons of God in full.

We are now in the process of receiving the divine dispensing little by little, day by day, until one day we are filled with Him to the extent that we shine Him out.

The Divine Sanctification is the Holding Line in the Carrying out of the Divine Economy to Sonize us Divinely

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers. Heb. 2:10-11Heb. 2:10-11 reveals that the resurrected Christ as the Captain, the Author, of God’s salvation is leading many sons into glory by sanctifying them.

It was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings, for both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One. Wow!

Christ went through a process to become the Author of our salvation; He was perfected through suffering so that He may become the Sanctifier, the One who sanctifies us to bring us into glory. Hallelujah!

We are being sanctified from the beginning to the end of our Christian life.

From the very beginning, even before we were saved, the Spirit was sanctifying us positionally to bring us into the right position to receive God’s salvation.

Throughout our Christian life, the Spirit sanctifies us to regenerate us, renew us, transform us, conform us to Christ’s image, and glorify us.

Therefore, we can say that the divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy to sonize us divinely and bring us into glory.

God has an economy, an intention in His heart, according to which He made a purpose and He carries out His economy to accomplish what He desires.

What God desires is to make man the same as He is in life and nature but not in the Godhead so that God and man, man and God, would become one corporate entity for the expression of God and their mutual dwelling in one another for eternity in love.

The way He accomplishes this is first by creating all things; God created the heavens and the earth, and He made the whole universe; however, not one part of the universe was holy.

Then, God created man; even before man’s fall, man was not holy, for he did not have the holy element and nature of God.

Only God is holy, and when His element is dispensed into man, man becomes holy.

Regardless of how perfect, nice, and good someone is, unless he has the divine element of God in him, he is not holy.

To be holy is to have the divine essence of God, the holy element of God, dispensed into us.

We were not holy, but one day we heard the gospel; there was a “hook” in the gospel, which caught us.

We may not have realized this, but when we heard the gospel and repented and believed into the Lord, we were “hooked” by the Lord.

This hook was God’s sanctification, the divine sanctification.

The divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy...God’s economy is the intention of His heart’s desire, and God made this intention a purpose. This purpose became and still is God’s economy. Sanctification is a great point in God’s economy...We need to see what the term holding line means. When a person goes fishing, he needs a line...The line holds his fish. In other words, the line directs his fishing. We say that sanctification is the holding line because every step of God’s economy in His work with us is to make us holy. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1993, vol. 2, “The Spirit with Our Spirit,” p. 219The divine sanctification caught us and holds us in the carrying out of the divine economy.

The divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy to sonize us divinely, that is, to make us sons of God in full. This is amazing!

God wants to make us sons of God so that we may become the same as God in His life and in His nature but not in His Godhead so that we may be God’s expression; God’s sanctification, therefore, is the divine sonizing.

May the Lord unveil us and cause us to realize that the divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of God’s economy to sonize us divinely.

The divine sanctification carries out every step of God’s organic salvation and makes us holy as God is holy, until we become the New Jerusalem, the holy city!

We are becoming the New Jerusalem, the holy city (Rev. 21:2), which is built on gold.

Gold signifies the divine nature of God; only God is holy, in the whole universe, and He is working Himself into us in His life and nature to make us holy as He is holy.

May we open to His sanctifying work today so that He may work Himself into us and sonize us divinely until we’re glorified to express Him corporately!

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being the Captain and Author of God’s salvation, leading many sons into glory! Hallelujah, we are the many sons of God who are being sanctified until we’re sonized divinely, made sons of God in full! Amen, Lord, we open to Your sanctifying work today. Sanctify us more today. Infuse us with Your life and nature until we become holy even as God is holy! Amen, Lord, may we see that the divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy to sonize us divinely! Praise the Lord, we are becoming sons of God in full so that we may become the same as God in His life and nature but not in the Godhead to be God’s expression! Amen, Lord, more sanctification today! Sanctify us further and fully until our whole being is sanctified to be part of the New Jerusalem, the holy city!

The Carrying out of God’s Eternal Economy is by the Spirit’s Sanctification to make us Holy

And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thes. 5:23

When people in the world look at us, the believers in Christ and lovers of the Lord, they do not understand why do we believe in Him and how come we follow Him.

We believers in Christ have been “hooked” by Christ, for His divine sanctification reached us and captured us for the Lord.

Sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy to sonize us divinely and glorify us so that we may be His corporate expression in glory.

We say that sanctification is the holding line because every step of God’s work with us is to make us holy.

God is holy, and everything He does in us and with us is to make us holy so that we may be sons of God to express Him corporately.

That He might sanctify her, cleansing [her] by the washing of the water in the word, That He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that she would be holy and without blemish. Eph. 5:26-27The carrying out of the eternal economy of God is by the Spirit’s sanctification.

The God of peace Himself sanctifies us wholly, and our spirit and soul and body are being preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thes. 5:23).

From the beginning to the end of our Christian life, in every experience we have of the Lord, we are being sanctified to be sonized divinely.

As we come to the word of God, we are sanctified in the truth, for the Lord’s word is the truth (John 17:17).

Christ as our dear Bridegroom is sanctifying us, the church as His bride, cleansing us by the washing of the water in the word (Eph. 5:26).

This is so that He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that the church would be holy and without blemish (v. 27).

We are now in this process of being sanctified by the washing of the water in the word to be holy.

We used to be in the same things as those in the world, but we were washed, we were sanctified, and we were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God (1 Cor. 6:11).

And we are sanctified day by day as we call on the name of the Lord, for whenever we call, Lord Jesus, we are in the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:3).

Sometimes we may pass through the Lord’s discipline; He disciplines because He loves us, and He disciplines us so that we may partake of His holiness (Heb. 12:4-14).

It may seem that we have grief, for no discipline seems to be a matter of joy, but afterwards we have the peaceable fruit of righteousness.

Because we love God, we know that all things work together for good, for we’re called according to His purpose, for He predestinated to be conformed to the image of Christ, the firstborn Son of God, that He may be the firstborn among many brothers (Rom. 8:28-29).

May we not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom we were sealed unto the day of redemption (Eph. 4:30), and may we not quench the Spirit (1 Thes. 5:19).

Rather, may we have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches (Rev. 2:7).

He sanctifies us little by little, day by day, until we become the holy city, New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2), which comes down out of heaven from God (v. 10).

Every step of God’s work in us and with us is to make us holy. From the time that we were “hooked” by the Lord through the gospel to the time of our glorification and being the New Jerusalem, the divine sanctification holds all our spiritual experiences.

We are being sanctified by the Spirit through repentance, regeneration, renewing, transformation, and conformation unto the redemption of our body (Eph. 1:14; 4:30).

And these things were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor. 6:11 Pursue peace with all men and sanctification, without which no one will see the Lord. Heb. 12:14The redemption of our body is the consummation of the divine sanctification.

Why does God sanctify us? God sanctifies us so that He may “sonize” us divinely, that is, to make us sons of God so that we may become the same as God in His life and in His nature (but not in His Godhead) so that we can be God’s expression.

The divine sonizing is the divine sanctification to make us the same as God in every possible way. Wow, Hallelujah!

We will never partake of God’s person or His Godhead, but we are partakers of His life and nature to become the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function.

First, God sonizes our spirit to make us children of God in our spirit; the Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God (Rom. 8:16).

Then, He sonizes us in our soul by renewing us, transforming us, sanctifying us, and conforming us to the image of Christ.

When He fully sonizes our soul, we reach maturity, and we are fully sonized!

Eventually, even our body will be transfigured, being brought into the freedom of the glory of the sons of God to be glorified in full! Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, we open to Your sanctifying work today. May the God of peace Himself sanctify us wholly, and may our spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen, Lord, sanctify us in the truth – Your word is truth! Cleanse us by the washing of the water in the word so that we may become Your holy, glorious, and spotless bride. Thank You for sanctifying us and washing us, even justifying us in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. We open to Your constant sanctifying work in our being. Sonize us divinely until we are fully like You in life, nature, expression, and function, but not in the Godhead. Amen, Lord, we know that all things work together for good for our transformation and conformation to the image of Christ, the firstborn Son of God! Hallelujah, Christ is leading us as the many sons of God into glory, sanctifying us to sonize us divinely until we become God’s corporate expression!

The sanctifying work of the Spirit first issues in our repentance and continues all the way to our glorification. In between our repentance and our glorification are regeneration, renewing, transformation, conformation, and the transfiguration of our body, which is the glorification of our entire being. This is the line of the divine sanctification to make us holy, so this line holds the carrying out of God’s economy. Today we all have been “hooked” by the line of the divine sanctification. We were in the “ocean” of humanity, but this line reached us, and we have been hooked. Our being hooked will be consummated when we are transfigured…A number of us were studying in school when someone came and spoke something about Christ to us. There was a “hook” hidden in this one’s speaking, and a hook got into us. We were convicted, and we repented and believed. Then we were regenerated in order for us to continue on the holding line of the divine sanctification. The divine sanctification holds all our spiritual  experiences from our repentance to our glorification. It goes through our regeneration, renewing, transformation, and conformation unto the redemption of our body (Eph. 1:14; 4:30). Unto means “resulting in.” The redemption of our body is the consummation of the divine sanctification.

Dear brother, we have been “hooked” by God through the gospel, and now we’re being sanctified until we become sons of God in full.

The divine sanctification is the “holding line” in the carrying out of the divine economy to sonize us divinely.

Sanctification holds all our spiritual experiences from our repentance to our glorification.

God is sanctifying us wholly – spirit, soul, and body – for the carrying out of His economy.

Lord, sanctify us more today. Infuse us with Your holy element and nature. Make us holy even as You are holy until we become the holy city, New Jerusalem!

AMEN👑

He who sanctifies is Christ as the firstborn Son of God, and those who are being sanctified are the believers of Christ as the many sons of God. Both the firstborn Son and the many sons of God are born of the same Father God in resurrection (Acts 13:33; 1 Pet. 1:3) and have the same divine life and nature. Hence, He is not ashamed to call them brothers.

Amen Lord sanctify us throughly. Reel us into the Triune God.

Lord we were in the ocean of humanity, and one day this seeking sanctification hooked us. Lord we remember the night that it hooked us.

We did not know what was happening, but until today we have been on this holding line. Lord by Your holding line of sanctification, we were not only sought out but also regenerated and are being renewed and transformed.

We will be kept on this holding line of sanctification by You Lord until we are fully reeled into You, so that we are You and You in us.

Praise You Lord that this holding line of sanctification is still going on! Hallelujah.

Much grace to you dear brother. Amen.

Amen brother!

I wonder how He hooked us differently.

First He usually shows us who we are and to start by repentance.

And then won us by His love to submit our all beings to Him.

What surprised me was that after He hooked us by sending His word, He trusted us to make us hookers, Fishers of men by living and showing His life to others who are living around us.

Praise the Lord!

Only God is holy in nature and His heart’s desire is to have many sons who share His life & nature.

For this purpose, we are being sanctified. Sanctification is the “holding line” that directs us through regeneration, renewing, transformation, conformation and the transfiguration of our body, which is the glorification of our entire being.

We need to grow to full maturity so that we may be God’s full expression.

When our soul is fully sanctified/sonized, eventually our body will be transfigured & glorified in full.

What a glorious hope! Amen! Gain us, O Lord, for Your great purpose.
