God Dwells in us – He is the Law of the Spirit of Life Installed in our spirit!

It is amazing to realize that God dwells in us – He is the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit! Wow!

Romans chapter 8 is the focus of the entire Bible and the center of the universe, and if we experience what this chapter reveals, we’re in the center of the universe.

The central focus of the universe is that the processed Triune God has come into us and now dwells in us as the law of the Spirit of life. Wow, Hallelujah!

If we read this chapter we will realize that Paul didn’t write it according to doctrine but according to revelation and experience.

What we see here is not doctrinal teaching, exhortation, admonition, or instruction, but the way for us to enjoy and experience the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in our daily life.

The Triune God formed an eternal purpose, and according to this purpose, He accomplished and achieved every necessary to fulfil this purpose.

First, He created all things, including man, so that He would gain a group of people.

Then, He was incarnated so that He could enter into His created and chosen people.

He then passed through human living to experience the sufferings of the human life and to express God.

He was then crucified to accomplish an all-inclusive death on the cross.

Through His death, He took away our sins, terminated the old creation, and released the divine life.

After entering into and passing through death, He came out of death and entered into resurrection.

Through incarnation, He took on a human body, the flesh, for the accomplishment of redemption.

After His redeeming death and life-imparting resurrection, He became the life-giving Spirit, a Spirit that imparts life (1 Cor. 15:45). Hallelujah!

First, He became a man, and then, He became a life-giving Spirit!

After He resurrected, He ascended above all things as a Man.

God made HIm the Lord of all, and He gave Him the headship over all things! Christ is not the glorified, crowned, and enthroned God-man, having the highest name and title!

He went through a process to accomplish, obtain, and attain everything necessary for His purpose.

Now He is in resurrection and ascension as the Spirit that gives life to reach us, entered into us, indwell us, and become one with us.

What we see in Rom. 8 is a completed God, One who passed through all the processes and procedures to accomplish everything that is needed for HIs economy.

Now He comes to us as the Spirit to reach us, come into us, indwell us, and be one with us.

Christ is now the Spirit that indwells us, and Rom. 8:9 and 11 make this clear.

This Spirit includes God the Father, Christ the Son, and God the Spirit, for this Spirit is the triune Spirit of the Triune God.

As such a Spirit He is in us; He has been installed in us as the law of the Spirit of life to bring us into the full enjoyment and experience of the riches of the Triune God. Hallelujah!

The way for us to enjoy all the riches of God is simply to walk according to the spirit (v. 4) and to set our mind on the spirit (vv. 5-6).

Everything we need is in the Spirit with our spirit; this Spirit is the consummation of the processed Triune God dwelling in us and being installed in us as the law of the Spirit of life. Hallelujah!

When we set our mind on our spirit, Christ can spread into our inner being to saturate us and occupy us.

The Focus of the Universe is that God came into us and Dwells in us as the Spirit with our spirit

If we see the eternal purpose of God, if we realize what is the economy of God, we will be amazed at Romans 8, for this chapter is the focus of the entire Bible and the center of the universe.

If we are experiencing Rom. 8, we are in the center of the universe.

We need to realize that the focus of the universe is that the processed Triune God has come into us and now dwells in us as the Spirit in our spirit.

No matter what we do, no matter where we are, we can turn to Him and receive the supply of the Spirit.

He has opened the way for us to enjoy the divine dispensing and has made it so simple.

We may be a nursing mother feeding the baby at two in the morning, and we may be exhausted physically; even then and there, if we just call on the name of the Lord, we can enjoy His divine dispensing.

We may be so tired after a day of work at the office, and we may simply open to the Lord; He will operate in us as the law of the Spirit of life to dispense a little bit of Himself into us.

In eternity past, God purposed to enter into His redeemed people so that He could be their life and so that they would be His corporate expression; this is the focus of God’s economy (Eph. 1:3-5).

The center of God’s creation is man, because God’s intention is related to man; God intends to be expressed through man.

Man can become God’s expression only when God enters into man to be man’s life and content to make man one with Him so that man may live by Him and even live Him out.

This is what He desires, a group of people into whom He can enter and with whom He can be fully one so that He may be expressed through them.

Zechariah 12:1 says, “Thus declares Jehovah, who stretches forth the heavens and lays the foundations of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him.”

To God, the spirit of man is as important as the heavens and as the earth, for here it is ranked on the same level as them.

God created the heavens for the earth, the earth for man, and man was created by God with a spirit so that man would contact God, receive God, and live God!

We have a human spirit so that we may contact God, believe in God, live God, worship God, fulfil God’s purpose for God, and be one with God.

We should not take for granted the fact that we have a human spirit, for it is in this spirit that the processed Triune God comes to dwell, and it is here that He is everything to us.

When we discover that we have a human spirit, it is as if we’re saved again!

But so many of the Lord’s children who want to worship God do it not in their spirit but in a different way; we can worship God in spirit (John 4:24). Hallelujah for our spirit!

The central focus in the universe is that the processed Triune God has come into us and now dwells in us; this is the greatest miracle in the universe (Isa. 66:1-2; John 14:23; 15:4).

Nothing in this universe can be more important than this. This is God’s desire, to come into us and be fully one with us.

For this, He went through a process, and now we can receive Him in our spirit.

From our spirit, He wants to spread into all the parts of our inner being so that He may saturate us with Himself and make us His corporate expression.

God celebrates our spirit more than we do. There was a great celebration in heaven when divinity entered humanity, and there’s great joy in heaven when a sinner is saved.

We all should be full of joy since the Triune God is indwelling us and is one with us; He is our life and our person, and He is making us His home (Eph. 3:14-17).

We need to thank and praise the Lord for what He has done and what He is doing.

If we realize that the focus of the universe is the processed Triune God coming into us to indwell us as the Spirit in our spirit, we will be full of joy and we will continually contact this One to be one with Him!

The Christian life is not about trying to do this or that to please God; it is a life in the mingled spirit, a life in the mingling of God and man.

May we turn to Him, enjoy Him, contact Him, and remain in our spirit so that He would spread into all the parts of our inner being a little more today!

Hallelujah, the central focus in the universe is that the processed Triune God has come into us and now dwells in us! Thank You, Lord, for this greatest miracle: God lives in us and dwells in us, and we and He are one in spirit! Thank You for our mingled spirit, where You and we are really one. Keep us in our spirit today. Keep us in the contact with You. Dear Lord Jesus, how we thank and praise You for coming as the Triune God to indwell us and be one with us! You are our life and our person, and You are making us Your home! We are full of joy because God lives in us and we are one with Him in spirit! We open to You, Lord, and we allow You to spread a little more into our mind, emotion, and will so that You may saturate us with Yourself!

God has been Processed to become the Law of the Spirit of Life Installed in our Spirit

In Rom. 8 Paul discovered one of the most amazing things in the universe; he realized that the Triune God has been processed and consummated to become the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit! Wow!

The Triune God went through the process of incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension to become the law of the Spirit of life; now this law is installed in our spirit as a “scientific” law, an automatic principle (Rom. 8:2-3, 10-11, 34, 16).

This is one of the biggest discoveries in God’s economy! It is one of the biggest recoveries in the church life today.

We all need to have a vision of what is installed in our being through being regenerated.

Yes, Christ dwells in us, and our body is the temple of God, and the Holy Spirit dwells in us.

But in a very practical and experiential way, God has been processed and consummated to become the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit (Rom. 8:2)!

Just as there is the law of sin and of death which is activated as soon as we choose to do the good, and this law all the time defeats us, so there is a higher law, the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit.

The law of gravity is a law; it is a principle that remains the same no matter what happens. If you drop something, it will fall to the earth, no matter how many times you try it.

There is another law, which is the law of aerodynamics. This law overcomes the law of gravity, as long as we fulfil its requirements.

For example, if we get into an aeroplane, instead of the plane falling down because of gravity, the law of aerodynamics will cause it to soar and fly.

We don’t need to try to overcome the law of gravity; we simply need to get into an aeroplane and sit down, and the law of aerodynamics will spontaneously overcome the law of gravity.

The strongest law in the universe has been installed in our inner being.

Yes, we have the law of sin and of death in our flesh, which operates to subdue us and bring death into us, but there is a stronger and higher law, the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit!

This law of the Spirit of life is higher and stronger than the law of sin and of death, and as long as we are in spirit, this law operates in us spontaneously and effortlessly.

We may have the good intention to fulfil the law of God, and our mind may fully agree that the law of God is good.

However, as soon as we try to do it, there is another law in our members that is stronger than us, the law of sin and of death, and this law defeats us all the time.

But praise the Lord, God has been processed and became the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit; when we turn to Him, when we contact Him, and when we remain in spirit one with Him, we simply overcome the law of sin and of death.

This is the way that God operates in us, by way of a law. Just as there is the law of digestion which operates spontaneously and effortlessly, so this law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit simply works!

As long as we turn to the Lord, call on His name, and contact Him, we simply enjoy His divine dispensing and we overcome through Him and in Him!

When we turn on the switch, the light simply comes on; we don’t need to call the powerplant and beg them to give us some electricity – we simply have to turn on the switch.

We don’t need to kneel down and beg God to give us more of this and more of that; we simply need to contact Him and remain in our mingled spirit, and everything we need will be there for us.

If we give the Lord the slightest cooperation, the law of life will simply operate in us. He has been installed in us and operates in us as long as we contact Him.

May we learn day by day to contact the Lord and switch on the law of the Spirit of life installed in our being!

Lord Jesus, grant us to see that the Triune God has been processed and consummated to become the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit! Wow, God is in us as a scientific law and automatic principle to operate in us and dispense the riches of God into us! Amen, Lord, we turn to You right now. We choose to set our mind on our spirit. We open to You. Dispense Yourself into us. We drop our striving and struggling to please God, and we simply contact You. Keep us in our spirit today. We just want to enjoy You and be filled with You. Spread into our inner being. We open all our problems and situations to You. We allow You, dear Lord, to flow into every part of our being. Amen, Lord, may we remain in the contact with You today so that the law of the Spirit of life installed in our spirit may spontaneously operate in us!
