Oh Lord Jesus! I enjoyed the whole University Training! But one of my top enjoyments throughout the week was the message given on “The Vision and The Ministry of The Age”.
I really enjoyed that in every age there is a vision of that age and we need to serve God according to the vision of that age. Knowing and understanding this vision is so important to our growth in the Lord!
The heavenly vision governs us, restricts us, controls us, directs us, preserves us, revolutionizes us, keeps us in the genuine oneness, and gives us the boldness to go on
This is shown in Proverbs 29:18a where it says, “Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint”. Oh what a sweet verse! Ephesians 1:18 also says “The eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints”
This verse really touched my spirit because in order to have a vision, we need revelation, light, and sight. For us to gain this light and sight we need to have an open spirit. The footnote in 18 note 1 to this verse meant so much to me….
In another training meeting, brother Jonathan shared about singing the hymns with your heart. This was the first I had heard of singing a hymn with your heart, so I tried – I just enjoyed Christ’s riches! Like never before, the hymns were as sweet as honey!
The softening of our heart is a gradual process but I believe at that moment, the Lord started to slowly soften my heart for Him! Oh, saints we need to have a soft heart for the Lord!
