The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit, for it is in our spirit that we can receive and enjoy the bountiful supply of the Triune God as grace; on His side, God supplies the Spirit of grace bountifully, and on our side, we should receive the Spirit of grace continually. Amen!
The grace of God is in the economy of God and accomplishes the economy of God. Grace is not something that God would give us as unmerited favor or something that God would do for us; grace is God Himself given to us to be our enjoyment.
The best thing that God can give us is Himself; nothing else besides God can satisfy us or can fulfill His purpose.
The entire Bible has a central line, which is the eternal economy of God. God has a heart’s desire, which is to be expressed corporately in many human beings who are the Body of Christ, His corporate expression.
For the carrying out of His economy, God went through a process in His economy; in Himself, He can never change, but in His economy and for His economy, God became a man, and He became a life-giving Spirit (John 1:14; 1 Cor. 15:45).
God’s eternal economy is to gain a group of people into whom He can dispense Himself to be their life and everything so that they would be joined to Him as one and be one with Him to the extent that they become His corporate expression on earth.
The entire Bible shows us how God wants not only to fellowship with man but even more, He wants to get into man; from the tree of life in Genesis to the tree of life in the center of the city of New Jerusalem in Revelation, God’s intention is made clear: He wants to dispense Himself as life into man.
And He does it by being incarnated to be grace to man. For the fulfilment of His heart’s desire, God became a man and this man became a life-giving Spirit; this Spirit is the Spirit of grace, and this Spirit is with our spirit today to impart grace into our being. Hallelujah!
For the fulfillment of His intention, God created the universe, and in the universe, He created the earth; on earth, He created many things, including plants, animals, and all kinds of living things, and in the center of it all, God created man in His image and according to His likeness.
Man is not like any of the other creatures; man is in God’s image and according to His likeness, and man has the capacity and ability to contact God, receive God, and be filled and occupied with God to be one with God and even become the same as God in life and nature but not in the Godhead. Hallelujah!
And this is all made possible by grace and in grace.
The Bountiful Supply of the All-inclusive Spirit as Grace is with our Spirit for our Enjoyment
When we speak of grace, first we need to realize that grace is not merely something that God does for us or gives to us, and second, we need to see where grace is. Grace is with our spirit.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit (Gal. 1:18); the mark of God’s economy is that Christ today is the grace of God in our spirit.
We have a regenerated spirit indwelt by the Spirit as the focus of God’s promised blessing (John 3:6; Rom. 8:10; 15:29; Eph. 1:3).
We need to access this grace and enjoy this grace, by contacting the Lord in our mingled spirit; we need the grace of the Lord to be with our spirit.
The grace of the Lord is the bountiful supply of the all-inclusive Spirit with our spirit.
Heb. 4:16 tells us to come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help. In our experience of the grace in God’s economy, we believers in Christ come forward with boldness to the throne of grace to find grace for timely help.
Christ is sitting on the throne in the heavens, and this throne is also in our spirit; the throne of grace is in our mingled spirit, where God’s habitation is (Eph. 2:2).
When we turn to our spirit, when we contact the Lord through the exercise of our mingled spirit, we touch the throne in heaven, and this throne is of grace to us.
How can we enjoy grace? How can we receive grace and mercy for timely help?
It is by contacting the Lord in spirit, by coming forward to the throne of grace in our spirit to receive and enjoy God as grace.
When in our daily experience we come forward to the throne of grace, we receive Christ as grace for our timely help.
And this grace we enjoy and receive through the exercise of our human spirit is the bountiful supply of the Triune God, who is embodied in Christ the Son and realized as the life-giving Spirit.
Hallelujah, the bountiful supply of the all-inclusive Spirit as grace is with our spirit for our enjoyment and experience day by day!
The more we enthrone the Lord and give Him the preeminence in all things, allowing Him to be the Lord and the King in our being, the more we receive the flow of grace coming from the throne of God.
The Spirit of grace is with our spirit (Heb. 10:29); our spirit is the only place where we can experience grace.
Doubts and quarrelling are in our mind, but when our mind is set on our spirit, we experience life and peace, for grace is in our spirit.
For us to receive and enjoy grace, we need to turn to our spirit and remain in our spirit.
In our daily experience, we need to recognize the Lord as the Head and the King, respect His position, and honor His authority as we exercise our spirit and remain in the spirit; in this way, we receive and enjoy grace.
The throne of grace is in our spirit; whenever we come to the throne of grace by turning to our spirit and calling on the name of the Lord, we should enthrone the Lord and give Him the headship, the lordship, and the kingship within us (Col. 1:18; Rev. 4:2).
When the Lord is enthroned in our being, when He is the Lord and the King, and we are under His headship and kingship, we receive grace and mercy for timely help.
Whenever we as believers in Christ enthrone the Lord Jesus within us, the Spirit as the river of water of life will flow from the throne of grace to supply us, and we will receive grace and enjoy grace in our daily experience (Heb. 4:16; Rev. 22:1-2).
This should be our experience day by day and even moment by moment; we should daily come to the throne of grace and enthrone the Lord, and grace as a river shall flow.
The greatest blessing in the universe is this Spirit, which is the grace of God for us to enjoy.
Through the bountiful supply of this Spirit, we can be saved; the salvation we need is not merely being rescued from our present situation but even more, that in nothing we would be put to shame but that Christ would be magnified through us.
As we face the situations of our daily life and see the decline and degradation of the church in these last days, we can come to the throne of grace to enjoy grace with our spirit.
We may have a lot of troubles and trials in our environment today, and we may be troubled inwardly in our soul; however, as we live in such a situation, we should simply come to the Lord and receive grace.
Lord Jesus, we come forward to the throne of grace in our spirit; we enthrone You and give You the kingship and the headship. Amen, Lord, flow as the Spirit of grace from the throne of grace to meet our needs. We need You as grace with our spirit! We come to receive You as grace and enjoy You as grace to meet all our needs. May the bountiful supply of the Triune God reach us day by day and even moment by moment as grace in our experience. We turn to You, dear Lord, and we call on Your name; be the Lord and the King in our being. May we remain here, at the throne of grace in our spirit, receiving mercy and finding grace for timely help. Hallelujah, grace is with our spirit, and in our spirit, we can receive and enjoy the grace of God as the bountiful supply of the all-inclusive Spirit!
God Supplies the Spirit of Grace Bountifully and we Receive the Spirit of Grace Continually
As children of God, we should be those who receive and enjoy the grace of the Lord with our spirit (2 Cor. 13:14; Philem. 1:25).
This receiving of Christ as the Spirit of grace is a lifelong matter, a continuous matter. Of His fullness, we have received and we are receiving, and grace upon grace (John 1:16).
The Lord doesn’t just give us grace once and for all, and His grace is not just for us to enjoy here and there.
His grace is given to us bountifully and continually, and we need to receive and enjoy the Spirit of grace continually.
We are put in the position of receiving grace; we should stand in a humble position to receive His grace.
As we see in the picture in Rev. 22, the throne of God and of the Lamb is in the center of the city, and out of it flows a river of water of life.
For us to enjoy this river of water of life, this flowing Spirit of grace, we need to simply receive it.
We need to put ourselves aside and place ourselves under the throne of God to receive and enjoy the Lord’s grace.
The receiving of Christ as the Spirit of grace is a matter that is lifelong and continuous.
Day by day a marvellous transmission should take place as God supplies the Spirit of grace bountifully and we receive the Spirit of grace continually (Gal. 3:2-5; John 3:34).
The way we open ourselves to the heavenly transmission in order to receive the supply of the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit of grace is by exercising our spirit to pray and call on the Lord (1 Thes. 5:16-18; Rom. 10:12-13). Amen!
The entire Bible ends with the grace of the Lord Jesus being with our spirit.
Not only the book of Hebrews encourages us to come forward to the throne of grace to receive grace and mercy, but also for eternity we will be standing in the position of receiving grace and enjoying grace.
For eternity we will enjoy Christ as grace, for this is a continuous and lifelong matter, even something that will go on for eternity.
The receiving of Christ as the Spirit of grace should be something daily, even moment by moment.
The more we enjoy the Lord as grace, the more we receive the Spirit of grace continually by coming to the throne of grace to receive and enjoy Christ as grace, the more it is no longer us who live but Christ who lives in us (Gal. 2:20).
This is why we need to exercise our spirit, for the grace of the Lord Jesus is with our spirit. When we contact the Lord in our spirit when Christ is realized through the Spirit in our spirit, we become the new creation; the new creation is Christ living in our spirit.
A very simple way to enjoy grace in our spirit is to pray and call on the name of the Lord; the way to receive the Spirit of grace continually is by exercising our spirit to pray and call on the name of the Lord.
This can be compared to our walking; we may not know how to exercise our legs, but as soon as we walk, we are exercising our legs.
Similarly, as we call on the name of the Lord, we are exercising our spirit. As soon as we pray, we are exercising our spirit.
The environment surrounding us often hinders us from praying and frustrates us from calling on the name of the Lord; however, we need to break through the limitations in our environment to become praying persons.
When we call on the name of the Lord, we touch the throne of grace and we receive the Spirit of grace; when we pray, we contact God in spirit, and we enjoy the Spirit of grace continually.
Lord Jesus, we want to receive and enjoy the grace of the Lord in our spirit. May our daily life be filled with turning to our spirit by calling on the name of the Lord and praying so that we may receive grace! Hallelujah, God supplies the Spirit of grace bountifully and we can receive the Spirit of grace continually! Amen, Lord, we open ourselves to the heavenly transmission of grace into our spirit. We call on Your name. We turn from the troubles within and the frustrations in our environment. We simply turn to our spirit, Lord, and we come to the throne of grace to receive and enjoy the Spirit of grace continually.
