The Divine Trinity is the framework of the entire Bible, and especially the book of Ephesians is constructed with the Divine Trinity.
The Bible has many books and speaks of many things, touching many subjects and dealing with many issues, but the framework of the Bible is the Triune God dispensing Himself into His chosen people to be their life and life supply.
This is a great mystery, something that puzzled many Bible readers and theologians alike.
As believers in Christ, we are the most blessed people, for we have the privilege of being under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity day by day, even moment-by-moment.
What does the entire Bible talk about? It doesn’t talk only talk about history, poetry, and prophecy in the Old Testament, and the gospels, the acts, and the epistles in the New Testament.
There’s an intrinsic structure of the entire Bible, a governing principle of the entire divine revelation in the word of God.
The Bible is the word of God, and He spoke it through men who were inspired by the Spirit, moved by the Spirit, and borne by the Holy Spirit.
They wrote at different times, in different settings, and have different backgrounds, but all the books of the Bible talk about the same one thing: God’s eternal economy.
God has an economy, a master plan, according to which He made all things.
We all are here because of God’s will, because of His eternal economy.
And only when we are one with the Lord to fulfil His economy do we find meaning and sense in our human life.
In His economy, God wants to dispense all His riches, all that He is and has, into His chosen and redeemed people.
Just as a country has an economy to dispense the riches of that country to all the people living in that country, so God has a divine economy to do this.
In His economy the unique thing that He dispenses is Himself.
It is not material riches or outward prosperity that He gives His people; it is Himself.
He is the most valuable commodity, the best thing someone can have, for when we have God, we have everything.
Even if we gain the whole world outwardly but we do not have God, we are miserable, empty, and poor.
But when we have God, though we may not have many things outwardly and we may not be as prosperous as others, we have everything, for God in Christ as the Spirit is our everything.
In His economy, God intends to dispense all that He is into us to make us the church, the Body of Christ, the fullness of the One who fills all and in all.
As believers in Christ, we simply receive and enjoy all that God is under the divine dispensing, and we grow in life, are being transformed, and are built up together to be the organic Body of Christ for His corporate expression.
The Divine Trinity is the Framework of the Entire Bible
Just as a house has a framework that supports it, and this framework is hidden yet vital, the Bible has a certain framework that is hidden but supports it and causes it to stand strong.
A house has a foundation and a certain structure; sometimes it has some pillars that support it, and there are metal beams that support the entire house.
These supporting elements, the framework of the house, may not be visibly seen but rather, what we see is the brickwork, the painting, the wooden panels, and other things.
The Bible is constructed with the Divine Trinity, and the Divine Trinity is the framework of the Bible.
And you don’t need to go to a Bible seminary to learn this; you simply need to open the Bible and read and pray over it, and you can also read the footnotes in the Recovery Version and the life studies of the Bible.
As we dive deeper into the word of God, we realize that both the Old Testament and the New Testament with all their books have a certain framework, a structure, something solid that supports them and holds them to stand strong.
The Divine Trinity is the framework of the entire Bible, and the whole Bible is constructed with the Divine Trinity.
When we realize that the Divine Trinity is the framework of the Bible, everything in the Bible will make sense and will fall into its proper place.
We will read the Bible with the glasses of God’s economy, seeking to see how the Triune God dispenses Himself into us in many aspects as revealed by the books in the Bible.
Instead of wasting our time on the internet, scrolling mindlessly through TikTok, or spending a lot of time on Instagram, we should spend time in the word of God with the help of the life-studies to see, enjoy, partake of, and participate in the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
May we spend our time day by day to be in the Word of God, studying and enjoying the Triune God and the divine dispensing in the Bible.
It will take our whole life to do this. From the very first book in Genesis, where we see the creation of man, we see the Divine Trinity.
And even in the very last chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22, we still see the Divine Trinity, this time being mingled, joined, and fully one with the transformed and glorified church.
As we read the Bible and spend time with the Lord in His word, may we pay more attention to the framework of the entire Bible, which is the Divine Trinity.
May we not dwell upon or overemphasize the “accessories” or “outward painting” that we can see in the many details expounded in the Bible; may we remain under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity so that we may live a life for the fulfilment of God’s eternal economy.
If we see the governing and controlling vision in the Bible, the vision of God’s economy, we will place ourselves and remain under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity, and we will live a proper Christian life and church life for the fulfilment of God’s eternal purpose.
May we understand what the will of God is, not be foolish but redeem the time, and get into the Word of God in a consistent and solid way day by day. And may we keep our heart open to the Lord, telling Him,
Lord Jesus, we want to see You, enjoy You, and partake of You as we come to Your word. Work Yourself into us a little more today. Grant us to see and realize that the Divine Trinity is the framework of the entire Bible. May we see the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in all the books of the Bible, and may we keep our being open to this dispensing. Hallelujah, our rich, all-inclusive, vast Triune God wants to dispense all His riches into us, and we can simply open, receive, partake, and enjoy all these riches under the divine dispensing! Amen, Lord, unveil us more and more every day to see Your dispensing, remain under Your dispensing, and cooperate with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in our daily life!
Every Chapter in Ephesians is Structured with the Divine Trinity
Ephesians is the only book in the Bible in which every chapter is structured with the Divine Trinity as its basic element.
We would not necessarily see and realize this with our natural mind, but when we receive the divine revelation, we will see that every chapter of this wonderful book is structured with the Divine Trinity.
If we don’t know the Triune God, we cannot comprehend the profoundness of the book of Ephesians.
Ephesians reveals the church, and the church revealed in this book is composed of the Triune God and expresses the Triune God.
May we see a vision that governs us and directs us so that we may realize that we need to live in and move with the Divine Trinity.
In Ephesians we see the divine revelation concerning the producing, existing, growing, building up, and fighting of the church as the Body of Christ.
This entire book is composed of the divine economy, showing us the dispensing of the Triune God into all the members of the Body of Christ.
Ephesians 1 unveils that God the Father chose and predestinated the members of the Body of Christ in eternity (Eph. 1:4-5).
Also, it reveals that God the Son redeemed them (Eph. 1:6-12) and that God the Spirit, as a pledge, sealed them (vv. 13-14).
In this way, the Triune God imparts Himself into His believers for the formation of the church, which is the Body of Christ, the fullness of the One who fills all and in all.
The first chapter of Ephesians speaks of this wonderful dispensing of the Divine Trinity into man to produce and build up the church.
Ephesians 2 shows us that, in the Divine Trinity, all the believers – both Jewish and Gentiles – have access unto God the Father, through God the Son, in God the Spirit (Eph. 2:18).
We don’t just have access to God; we have access to God the Father through Christ the Son and in God the Spirit.
This shows that the tree of the Godhead coexist and coinhere simultaneously, even after the Triune God went through the processes of incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection.
In Ephesians 3 the apostle prayed that God the Father would grant the believers to be strengthened through God the Spirit into their inner man so that Christ, God the Son, may make His home in their hearts that they may be filled unto all the fullness of God (Eph. 3:14-19).
This is how the Lord builds His church – by building Himself in His Divine Trinity into our being. Eph. 3 reveals the climax of the believers’ experience of and participation in God in His Trinity.
Every chapter of Ephesians is structured with the Divine Trinity, for the Divine Trinity is the framework of the entire Bible, especially of the book of Ephesians.
Ephesians 4 portrays how the processed God as the Spirit, the Lord, and the Father is mingled with the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:4-6), so that all the members of the Body may experience the Divine Trinity.
The issue of our enjoyment and experience of the Divine Trinity (one Lord, one Spirit, one Father) is the building up of the church as the Body of Christ.
Ephesians 5 exhorts us to praise the Lord, God the Son, with the songs of God the Spirit, and give thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God the Father (Eph. 5:19-20).
And this is to praise and thank the processed God in His Divine Trinity for our enjoyment of Him as the Triune God. Hallelujah!
Ephesians 6 instructs us to fight the spiritual warfare by being empowered in the Lord (God the Son), putting on the whole armour of God (the Father) and wielding the sword of God the Spirit (Eph. 6:10, 11, 17).
Every chapter of Ephesians is structured with the Divine Trinity, and in every chapter, we see not merely the doctrine of the Triune God but how we can experience this divine dispensing.
In every chapter in Ephesians, we see the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity and how we can experience and enjoy the Triune God in His dispensing.
We can only give thanks and praise to Him and keep ourselves under the divine dispensing so that He may gain the church as the Body of Christ, the fullness of the One who fills all in all, the fullness of God, the one new man, the wife of Christ, and the corporate spiritual warrior!
Thank You, Father, for choosing us and predestinating us in eternity to be Your many sons. Thank You, Christ, for redeeming us, to be members of Your Body. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for coming to seal us and be the pledge of our inheritance. Hallelujah, we are now believers in Christ and members of the Body of Christ who daily live under the divine dispensing for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ! Thank You, Lord, for opening a way for us to contact God and partake of God as our life and life supply. We now have access to the Father through Christ the Son in God the Spirit. Amen, Lord, mingle Yourself more with us today. Dispense Yourself more into us all throughout the day. We just come to You as open vessels, ready to receive, enjoy, and partake of the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity!

The entire divine revelation in the book of Ephesians concerning the producing, existing, growing, building up, and fighting of the church as the Body of Christ is composed of the divine economy, the dispensing of the Triune God into the members of the Body of Christ. Chapter 1 of Ephesians unveils that God the Father chose and predestinated these members in eternity (Eph. 1:4-5), that God the Son redeemed them (Eph. 1:6-12), and that God the Spirit, as a pledge, sealed them (Eph. 1:13-14), thus imparting Himself into His beliefs for the formation of the church, which is the Body of Christ, the fullness of the One who fills all in all (Eph. 1:18-23). Chapter 2 shows us that in the Divine Trinity all the believers, both Jewish and Gentile, have access unto God the Father, through God the Son, in God the Spirit (Eph. 2:18).This indicates that the three coexist and coin here simultaneously, even after all the processes of incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and recovery. In chapter 3 the apostle prayed that God the Father would grant the beliefs to be strengthened through God the Spirit into their inner man, that Christ, God the Son, may make His home in their hearts, that is, occupy their entire being, that they may be filled unto all the fullness of God (Eph. 3:14-19). This is the climax of the believers’ experience of and participation in God in His Trinity. Chapter 4 portrays how the processed God as the Spirit, the Lord, and the Father is mingled with the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:4-6) so that all the members of the Body may experience the Divine Trinity. Chapter 5 exhorts the believers to praise the Lord, God the Son, with the songs of God the Spirit, and give thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, God the Son, to God the Father (Eph. 5:19-20). This is to praise and thank the processed God in His Divine Trinity for our enjoyment of Him as the Triune God. Chapter 6 instructs us to fight the spiritual warfare by being empowered in the Lord, God the Son, putting on the whole armor of God the Father, and wielding the sword of God the Spirit (Eph. 6:10, 11, 17). This is the believers’ experience and enjoyment of the Triune God even in the spiritual warfare. 2 Cor. 13:14, part of footnote 1
The sixty-six books of the Bible are altogether built upon the Divine Trinity as their support and framework, and all the other parts are just accessories. Regretfully, Bible readers today are just like those who look at the appearance of the Anaheim meeting hall, paying attention only to whether the stones are beautiful and whether the wood is perfect… Because the Anaheim meeting hall is supported by steel pillars,… it stands there securely like a fortress or a small mountain. In the same principle, the Trinity is the framework of the entire Bible, and this is especially true with the book of Ephesians in the New Testament. If you do not know the Triune God, you cannot comprehend the profoundness of Ephesians, because every chapter of this book has the Divine Trinity as its framework. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1986, vol. 3, “The Revelation and Vision of God,” p. 429
May the Lord unveil us to see that the whole Bible, and especially the book of Ephesians, is structured with the Divine Trinity.
In every chapter of Ephesians we see how the Triune God dispense Himself into us for the building up of the Body of Christ.
Wow, what a revelation, the structure of the entire bible, especially the book of Ephesians is constructed with the divine trinity, the Father predestinated us unto sonship, the Son redeemed us through His blood, according to the riches of His grace and we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise!
Amen brother!
O Lord the Triune God is in us dispensing himself into us unceasingly as we pray. and call on his name!
To build his up his body by the rich supply of his grace.
Even in spiritual warfare we enjoy him in our mingled spirit!
Hallelujah!
Amen Lord, may we see the vision of the Divine Dispensing of the Divine Trinity is for enjoyment for the blinding up of the Body of Christ, for as to pray and give thanks to God, and also to fight the spiritual warfare!
We need to see a vision concerning the Divine Trinity in and with whom we live.
The Father predestinated us; the Son redeemed us; and the Spirit sealed us with the pledge of promise.
Now, we are the Lord’s and He is ours.
Therefore, we have access to God the Father, through God the Son, in God the Spirit. God as the Father, Son and Spirit is mingled with all the members of the Body.
How marvellous! Every day, we are able to enjoy and receive the entire Divine Trinity and be empowered in the Son, putting on the whole armour of the Father, and wielding the sword of the Spirit.
What a revelation to see that the entire Bible including the book of Ephesians – even every chapter – is constructed with the Divine Trinity for our experience and enjoyment of the Triune God!
This one, who as the Father chose us before the foundation of the world, to be redeemed by God the Son and to be sealed by God the Spirit, imparting His life for the formation of the church as the Body of Christ!
Amazing revelations!!!
Spiritual visions conveyed through human words, surely not adequate!! Yet we exult with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory!!!
Amennnnnn Lord more mingling more building
amen brother we see that the triune God is the framework of the bible and this is seen in the book of Ephesians.
We see how our God is triune to dispense himself into us. May the Lord enlighten us regarding this
