We need to see and realize that the central matter in the Bible is the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity into us, the believers in Christ, for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
This week we come to a new Holy Word for Morning Revival entitled, Living in and with the Divine Trinity (based on the 2021 Thanksgiving Day Conference).
In particular, this week’s HWMR title is, The Divine Economy with the Divine Dispensing of the Divine Trinity in the Divine Move and in Our Experience.
We may be familiar with this matter of God’s dispensing and His desire to dispense and distribute Himself into us, and we may love Hymns 608 where we see that the Triune God has become our all in the way of dispensing.
But we need to open to the Lord in this matter so that we may learn before Him and with Him what it is to live in the Divine Trinity and live with the Divine Trinity in a fresh and living way.
The Triune God moved in His Divine Trinity to be processed and consummated as the life-giving Spirit, the indwelling Christ coming into our spirit to dwell in our being.
Now we as believers in Christ have full access to Him, for He came into us to be joined to us as one spirit, to be mingled with us as one, and to be our life and life supply and everything. Amen!
We need to see how much we can experience the Triune God in the dispensing of the Divine Trinity in a practical way.
The whole Bible, the entire divine revelation, is structured with the Divine Trinity; if we take away the Divine Trinity, the Triune God, it’s almost as if the Bible falls apart, for it is structured with it.
If we study the Word of God, even in the Old Testament we see the Triune God, and in the New Testament we see the Triune God in the Gospels and in the Epistles; wherever we turn, whatever chapter and book we read, we see the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
What the Bible reveals not only the person of the Triune God in His Godhead but also in His move on the earth, in His doing and work and in the processes that He passed through.
The New Testament reveals the Divine Trinity embodied in Christ in His becoming a man, living a perfect human life, dying on the cross, resurrecting to become a life-giving Spirit, ascending to be enthroned far above all, descending as the Spirit to indwell us, moving in us, working in us, and supplying us as His people for His purpose.
This is all so that the church would be built up to be His Body, the organic Body of Christ, consummating in the New Jerusalem as the ultimate destination of the move of the Divine Trinity.
In the Old Testament we see many types, but in the New Testament – especially in the writings of Paul – we see how the Bible is structured around our experience of the Divine Trinity in His divine dispensing.
The Bible doesn’t present only what God did, what Christ passed through and obtained and attained, but even more, that the Triune God is moving in His Divine Trinity to reach man, to dispense Himself into man, to move in man, and to operate in man, saturate man, and permeate man’s whole being so that man would be thoroughly mingled with the Triune God for the fulfilment of His purpose. Hallelujah!
The Central Matter in the Bible is the Divine Economy with the Divine Dispensing of the Divine Trinity into the Believers for the Building up of the Church
May the Lord have mercy on us and enlighten us to see the central matter in the whole Bible, which is the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity into the believers in Christ for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem (see 1 Tim. 1:3-5; Eph. 3:14-21; 4:16; Rev. 21:2, 10-11).
What Paul taught and what all the apostles preached is the economy of God, the divine economy of the Triune God to dispense Himself into man to be man’s life and everything, so that the church may be produced to be the organic Body of Christ to express Him on the earth.
Nothing is more central than that; this is the heart of the divine revelation and the central line in the Bible. We need to be deeply impressed that this is what the Bible talks about.
Many Christians know that Jesus died for them and that one day they will go to heaven; they know and believe that, if they do good works for God, He will reward them with a bigger mansion in the heavens. Oh, Lord!
The Bible speaks of something much more than this; we need to be saved from being short, incomplete, and lacking in the knowledge and experience of the central matter in the Bible.
May we enter into the full, deepest, and highest revelation in the Bible, which is the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity!
God is not after us going to heaven; He wants to gain His New Jerusalem, which is simply the result, the issue of thousands of years of His work, for He is working Himself into man to mingle Himself with man.
God wants to gain the New Jerusalem, the consummate mingling of God and man. For this, He chose us, marked us out, predestinated us, and selected us to be part of His eternal enlargement, the mingling of the Triune God with the tripartite man.
In Eph. 4 we see the Triune God: the Father is the Originator of the Body, the Lord is the Creator of the Body, and the Spirit is the Executor of the Body.
The Father is the source, the Son is the One who created the Body on the cross to be the one new man, and the Spirit works out and transmits the reality and practicality of what the Father plans and the Son accomplishes.
The Spirit is the consummation of the Triune God, and today we can simply drink the Spirit and be mingled with the Triune God; as we exercise our spirit to drink the Spirit, we are filled and saturated with the Spirit to be one with Him.
The result is that we are four-in-one, or four-one – the Father-Son-Spirit-Body-of-Christ entity, which consummates in the New Jerusalem.
We will never become part of the Godhead to be worshipped; however, we are becoming this four-in-one entity in the universe, and the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity accomplishes it. Hallelujah!
The divine economy is God’s household administration to dispense Himself in His Divine Trinity into His chosen people so that they may be transformed for the producing of the church (see 1 Tim. 1:3-4; John 1:14, 29; Acts 2:24; 1 Cor. 12:12-13; 15:45b; 1 Tim. 3:15; Rev. 5:10; 21:2).
God has a divine economy, and the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity carries out God’s economy to produce the church, which is the Body of Christ, the house of God, the kingdom of God, and the counterpart of Christ, the ultimate aggregate of which is the New Jerusalem.
The divine economy is to dispense, distribute, and impart the Triune God in His Divine Trinity into us, His chosen and redeemed people, so that we may be the church as the Body of Christ and the one new man, consummating in the New Jerusalem.
Everything that is mentioned in the New Testament concerning God is related to the divine dispensing for the divine economy; furthermore, the accomplishment of the divine economy is by the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity (Rom. 8:3, 11; Eph. 1:3-23; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 3:14-21).
May we put on the glasses of God’s economy to see the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity everywhere in the Bible, and may we be saved from any superstition or religion to be those who cooperate with God’s dispensing.
Many times Christians are superstitious, believing in God according to their superstition; they believe that God will bring them to heaven after they die – this is not in the Bible, and it is mere superstition.
May we read and study the Bible with the realization that it is all concerning the divine dispensing for the divine economy. Amen!
Lord Jesus, cause us to see that the central matter in the Bible is the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity into us to build up the church consummating in the New Jerusalem! Amen, Lord, keep us under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity today so that we may be transformed, renewed, conformed, and built up in the Body of Christ for the fulfillment of Your purpose. Dispense Yourself into us so that we may be transformed for the producing of the church, the Body of Christ. Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to cooperate with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity for the carrying out of God’s eternal economy!
The Controlling Vision in the Bible is that the Triune God is Working Himself into us to be our Everything and Saturate us with the Divine Trinity
There is a controlling vision in the Bible; the Bible was written according to the controlling vision that the Triune God is working Himself into us, His people, to be our life and life supply in order to saturate our entire being with the Divine Trinity. Wow!
This may sound so high and lofty, but it is seen everywhere in the Bible, and this is what we experience day by day!
In His divine economy, the Triune God is working Himself into His chosen and redeemed people to be their life and life supply; this is so that He may saturate their entire being with the Divine Trinity. Wow!
Psa. 36:8-9, a short portion in the Old Testament, describes this poetically when it says that we as God’s people are saturated with the fatness of God’s house, He causes us to drink of the rivers of His pleasures, and with Him is the fountain of life.
The fatness of His house refers to Christ, the fatty ashes of the sacrifices, which are acceptable to God and satisfying to man.
The river of His pleasures refers to the Spirit, who flows as the river of water of life. The fountain of life refers to God the Father as the source, the fountain; in His light we see light.
First, we have life, the Father as the source of life, and then we have the light, for in His light we see light.
This verse is according to the governing and controlling vision in the Bible, which is that the Triune God is working Himself into His chosen and redeemed people to be their life and life supply to saturate their entire being with the Father as the fountain, the Son as the fatness, and the Spirit as the river.
If we don’t have such a controlling vision when we come to the Word of God, we may see certain principles and doctrines, but we will not touch what God is really speaking about and what He is really doing today.
The entire Bible speaks of the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity, for God’s desire is to work Himself into us to be our everything for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ.
If we have such a governing vision, everything in the Bible will make sense.
In the Old Testament the psalmists were not regenerated persons, and they didn’t know about God’s economy, but they wrote this under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, who is the true Author; the Spirit knows God’s economy, and He spoke concerning this economy in these two verses.
The fatness of God’s house refers to the fatty ashes of the sacrifices, which typify the all-inclusive Christ; we enjoy the fatness of God’s house by enjoying the unsearchable riches of the all-inclusive Christ.
Through the accomplishment of Christ’s redemption, we can enjoy the fatness of the house of God.
The river of God’s pleasures shows that there’s a river flowing in the house of God, and we can drink the Spirit as the water of life flowing in resurrection (John 7:37-39).
The fountain of life is with and in God the Father; He is the source, the fountain, of life, and we can come to Him to drink of Him. In His light we see light.
Every book in the Bible confirms and shows the governing and controlling vision in the Bible, which is the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.
When we see such a vision, everything will make sense, and we will realize that this key opens up the entire divine revelation.
Lord Jesus, grant us to have a governing and controlling vision when we come to the Word of God. Work Yourself into us to be our life and our life supply so that we may grow in life, be transformed, and be built up as the Body of Christ! Amen Lord, we want to drink of the river of Your pleasures and be saturated with the fatness of Your house, for with You is the fountain of life! Cause us to drink of the river of Your pleasures and be saturated with the full enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ! Amen, Lord, keep us drinking You, eating You, and being saturated with You as we enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity!
