Christ will Return and Bring in the Restoration of All Things on Earth in the Millennium

And the wolf will dwell with the lamb; / And the leopard will lie down with the kid, / And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; / And a young boy will lead them about. Isa. 11:6

After the Lord Jesus deals with the believers, the Jewish people, and the nations, He will bring in the millennium – the kingdom of Christ and of God on earth for a thousand years, and this will be the time of the restoration of all things and the one thousand years for the overcomers to reign with Christ.

Hallelujah, we want to be among those who are qualified, perfected, and equipped to reign and rule with Christ in the millennium!

What is in God’s heart is for Him to gain a kingdom, and in particular, He wants to gain those who live in the reality of His kingdom.

He called a particular race, the called and chosen race of which Abraham is the head, but they failed Him.

Then, God Himself became a man to redeem us and make a way for all nations, whether Jews or Gentiles, to believe into Christ and enter into the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God is the Lord Jesus Himself, who came as the Sower to sow Himself as the seed into our hearts.

When we repent and believe into the Lord, the kingdom seed is sown in us; this seed grows and develops into a realm in which God can rule and reign.

The kingdom of God is both the realm in which God rules and reigns, and it is also the realm of the divine life.

On one hand, we believers in Christ have switched masters: we no longer serve Satan but God, and God is our real King, Lord, Head, Master, and Savior.

On the other hand, we not only came under God’s authority but we have His life, and we have entered into the realm of the divine life, which is the realm of the kingdom of God.

Day by day we need to live in the reality of the kingdom of God by living according to the mingled spirit in the church life.

Today the kingdom of God is hidden, mysterious, and spiritual; we cannot outwardly display the kingdom of God.

But this kingdom is developing and growing in us, and one day this kingdom will become visible.

Our Christian life is a life of things unseen, a life according to the mingled spirit so that we may live in the reality of the kingdom of God in the church life.

May we be those who live in the reality of the kingdom of the heavens today so that, when the Lord returns, we would be raptured to Him and be His co-kings reigning with Him in the millennium age.

May we live in the new creation by living in the mingled spirit and developing the virtues in the divine nature in our spirit.

May we not only live as a good brothers or sisters in the church but seek the Lord, love Him, enjoy Him, experience Him, and be built up with the saints in the reality of the Body of Christ so that we may be produced as the Lord’s overcomers today.

The Lord Jesus will Bring in the Kingdom of Christ and of God on Earth, the Times of the Restoration of All Things

But I have installed My King / Upon Zion, My holy mountain...Ask of Me, / And I will give the nations as Your inheritance / And the limits of the earth as Your possession. You will break them with an iron rod; / You will shatter them like a potter's vessel. Psa. 2:6, 8-9

The Bible reveals that, after the Lord Jesus deals with the believers in Christ, the Jewish people, the nations, and the Antichrist and his followers, He will bring in the millennial kingdom.

This millennial kingdom is the kingdom of Christ and of God on earth for one thousand years (Rev. 20:4, 6).

After the age of grace, there is one day in the eyes of the Lord, which is one thousand years in our time, called, the millennium.

The millennium refers to the time between Christ’s second coming as a King to rule the earth, and the new heaven and new earth with the New Jerusalem.

There are many verses in the Old Testament speaking of the millennial kingdom (Psa. 2:6, 8-9; Isa. 2:2-5; 11:1-10; 65:20-25; Zech. 8:20-23; 14:16-21), and this age is also called the times of the restoration of all things.

But in the last days / The mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established / On the top of the mountains; / And it will be lifted up above the hills; / And all the nations will stream to it, And many peoples will come and say, / Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, / To the house of the God of Jacob, / That He may instruct us in His ways, / And that we may walk in His paths. / For from Zion will go forth instruction, / And the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem; And He will judge between the nations, / And will decide [matters] for many peoples. / And they will beat their swords into plowshares, / And their spears into pruning knives; / Nation will not lift up sword against nation, / Nor will they learn war anymore. House of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah. Isa. 2:2-5In the New Testament, the millennium is referred to in Rev. 20:4 and 6, which speak of those who will reign with Christ for one thousand years.

The age of the millennium will be the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21), affecting not only man but also the entire old creation, including the heaven, the earth, the animals, the plants, and all living things.

Through the fall of man, the entire creation fell under the judgement of God and is in the slavery of corruption; when Christ returns with His kingdom, when the kingdom of Christ and of God comes in, everything that was cursed through the fall of man will be restored.

The light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, like the light of seven days; the sun and the moon will be restored to their original condition (Isa. 30:26).

In these times of the restoration of all things, God will bind the breach of His people and will heal the wound left from His stroke.

At that time, all creatures will be restored to their original condition. The wolf will dwell with the lamb and the leopard will lie down with the kid (11:6).

To us today such a thing is impossible, but when Christ comes again, everything will be restored.

In the kingdom of Christ and of God on earth in the millennium the trees will flourish, the flowers will blossom, the wilderness and the desert will be glad for they will blossom and blossom (35:1-2).

Water will break forth in the wilderness, streams in the desert, and the desert mirage will become a pool, and the thirsty ground, springs of water (vv. 6-7).

A highway will be there through the wilderness, and the way will be called, The Way of Holiness (v. 8).

If you read the verses in the Old Testament speaking of the coming times of the restoration of all things, you will rejoice and exult.

All men will desire to go to the mountain of Jehovah and worship God, hear His instruction, and walk in His path from zion.

God will judge between the nations and will decide matters for many peoples. People will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning knives.

Nation will no longer lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore. In the coming kingdom of Christ and of God, there will be no more war and no more fighting.

Righteousness will be that which girds His loins, / And faithfulness will be that which girds His hips. And the wolf will dwell with the lamb; / And the leopard will lie down with the kid, / And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; / And a young boy will lead them about. The cow and the bear will graze; / Their young will lie down together; / And the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the cobra's hole, / And upon the viper's den / The weaned child will stretch his hand. They will not harm nor destroy / In all My holy mountain, / For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah, / As water covers the sea. And in that day the root of Jesse, / Who stands as a banner to the peoples--/ Him will the nations seek, / And His resting place will be the glory. Isa. 11:5-10The nursing child will play by the cobra’s hole and upon the vipers’ den, the children will stretch their hands, for they will not harm or destroy anymore.

The earth will be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as water covers the sea. What a kingdom and what a restoration!

We are looking forward to such a millennial kingdom, the times of the restoration of all things!

And we are preparing to enter into such a kingdom by living in the reality of the kingdom of the heavens today in the church life.

We have been born into the kingdom of God by regeneration, and all genuine believers in Christ are in the kingdom of God.

But are we practically in the kingdom of the heavens? Do we live in the reality of the kingdom in the church life today?

Are we pursuing Christ, enjoying Christ, and living Christ?

Only those who are living in the reality of the kingdom are qualified to enter into the manifestation of the kingdom, and only the overcomers are qualified to rule and reign with Christ in the millennial kingdom.

Lord Jesus, we give ourselves to You today to enjoy You, pursue after You, seek You, experience You, and gain You. Make us Your overcomers in this age. Make us those who reign in life over anything negative. We desire to be those who will meet and welcome You at Your return with Your kingdom! Amen, Lord, we yearn for the coming of the kingdom of God and of Christ, the times of the restoration of all things! Bring in the age of the kingdom, Lord, where all things that were fallen in sin will be restored to their original condition! Bring in the age of the kingdom in which we are the overcomers who rule and reign with Christ over all things! Amen, Lord, we are one with You for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in the heaven!

God is Preparing the Church Overcomers to be the Kings, the Saved Israelites to be Priests, and the Restored Nations to be the People; He will Perfect and Prepare the Defeated Believers to be in the New Jerusalem

...and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Rev. 20:4 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Rev. 20:6 Whom heaven must indeed receive until the times of the restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of His holy prophets from of old. Acts 3:21God is using the old creation to prepare three kinds of people He needs in the millennium: the church overcomers, the saved Israelites, and the restored nations.

God is preparing the overcomers in the church to be the kings together with Christ in the millennium age; He is perfecting, building up, and transforming and maturing those who are willing to cooperate with Him to be His overcomers.

God is also preparing the saved Israelites to be the priests in the millennium; He will not leave His earthly people but will save some of them and they will be the priests of God in the millennium age.

God is preparing the restored nations; He will purify them and make them the nations, the people in the millennium.

After dealing with the Jewish people, the believers, the nations, and Antichrist and his followers, the Lord Jesus will bring in the kingdom of God and of Christ, the times of the restoration of all things, which will last for one thousand years.

In this age, there is the spiritual people of God, the overcomers from the churches, who will reign together with Christ as co-kings over the whole earth.

Then, there are the saved Israelites, many of whom will see the Lord Jesus at His return and will repent and weep; they will serve as the priests in the millennium, teaching the nations to worship God and serve Him.

Finally, there are the nations, which are restored by God and purified by Him; they are God’s people but not God’s sons, and they will live and be on the earth, even on the new earth.

In this age of grace, we believers in Christ have two options: we can cooperate with God to the uttermost to be produced as His overcomers by losing the soul-life, growing in the divine life, accepting the dealings of the cross, and being built up with the saints in the Body of Christ.

Also, we have the option of just being regular, nominal, Christians who read the Bible, do their best to do what the Bible says to do, go to church, and do many good things, but are not inwardly reconstituted with God nor do they experience God in a subjective way.

If today we don’t cooperate with the Lord to be the overcomers, there will be the next age, the age of millennium, in which we will be perfected to be co-kings with Christ.

Many Christians today think they are safe as long as they are saved, for we will be together with the Lord forever.

And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, Now has come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ, for the accuser of our brothers has been cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they loved not their soul-life even unto death. Rev. 12:10-11They think that, when the Lord returns, simply because we’re believers, we will be raptured and be with Him for eternity.

But if we are still living in the kingdom of the world today, if we live as part of the worldly people today, we will not be entering into the manifestation of the kingdom during the thousand years.

Rather, we will be in the outer darkness making up the lessons that we missed during our lifetime on earth.

God will use one thousand years to perfect those who are defeated in this age to be the overcomers.

The defeated believers will not be on the restored earth and heaven, nor will they rule and reign with Christ; rather, they will be perfected by God.

During the age of the millennium, God will perfect the saints who have not been perfected during the age of the church so that they may be qualified to enter into the New Jerusalem for God’s eternal kingdom.

The believers in Christ the Son of God have been regenerated into the kingdom of God, and they are in the church life, living in the kingdom of God today, but not all believers, only the overcoming ones, will participate in the millennium (John 3:5, 15-16; Rom. 14:17; Rev. 12:10-11; 2:26-27; 3:21).

May the Lord put in us an aspiration that we would not be content with just living a good Christian life but live on earth for the kingdom of God so that God would accomplish His economy and bring in the kingdom of God and of Christ, the times of the restoration of all things!

Lord Jesus, put in us an aspiration that we would not be content with just living a good Christian life but that we would be Your overcomers in this age. Amen, Lord, we want to be Your overcomers today. We aspire to live for Your kingdom, for the hastening of Your return with Your kingdom. We give ourselves to You, Lord: perfect us, transform us, and mature us to make us those who rule and reign with You in the next age. Save us from being defeated believers today. Save us from just living a good Christian life with many outward activities but with no inner experience and enjoyment of Christ. Make us the overcomers that You need to end this age and bring in the next age. Grant us to learn the lessons we need in this age for us to be co-kings with Christ in the age of the kingdom!

After the Lord deals with the believers, the Jews, the nations, and Antichrist with his followers, He will bring in the millennial kingdom… The millennium refers to the time between Christ’s second coming as a King to rule the earth and the new heaven and new earth. This time will last for one thousand years. There are many verses in the Old Testament concerning the millennial kingdom (Psa. 2:6, 8-9; Isa. 2:2-5; 11:1-10; 65:20-25; 30:26; Zech. 8:20-23; Psa. 72:1-17; Isa. 4:2-6; 9:7; 12:1-5; 16:5; 32:1-2; 40:9-11; 61:4- 9; Zech. 14:16-21). In the New Testament, the millennium is referred to in Revelation 20:4 and 6. These verses speak of those who reign with Christ for a thousand years. What a wonderful one thousand years will come, with so much peace, righteousness, and knowledge of God!

May we be those who cooperate with the Lord today to be His overcomers, those who are not content with merely living a good Christian life but who pursue Him, enjoy Him, and experience Him to be His overcomers today!

Lord, make us Your overcomers in this age. We want to learn the lessons we need in this age so that we may be perfected and qualified to be co-kings with You in the next age!

Hallelujah brother! After the 2nd coming, everything that was cursed through man’s fall will be restored. What a joyful time this will be.

During the millennium, our God will obtain 3 kinds of people: His overcomers will reign as kings, the saved Israelis will be the priests, and the restored nations will be God’s people, but not His sons.

Also during that time, God will perfect the dormant saints so that they may qualify to enter the New Jerusalem.

Yes! Remove all the excuses Lord. May we all respond to the leading of Your Spirit in our spirit.

God needs three kinds of people in the millenium – the thousand year Kingdom from the time of His second coming to the New Heaven and New Earth.

These are the overcomers in the church to be Kings: the saved Israelites to be His priests and the restored nations to be His people.

Even then the millenium is an age of preparation for the perfecting of believers who have not overcome in this age of grace so that they may enter the New Jerusalem.

O Lord continue Your perfecting work and gain our cooperation with You in the church age to be overcomers for the Kingdom age!
