Christ is the Centre of the Processed Triune God: God was Processed and Consummated

So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul"; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit. 1 Cor. 15:45

Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God; our Triune God went through a process, for before Christ’s incarnation, He was unprocessed but after incarnation, He went through a process and was consummated to be the consummated Triune God, even the Spirit, who is now in and with our spirit.

Praise the Lord for our Triune God who went through a process to become the life-giving Spirit, even the Spirit with a bountiful supply in our spirit! Amen, Lord, we open to You today. Unveil us to see the processes You went through. May we appreciate the processes the Triune God went through in order to become the Spirit coming to mingle Himself with our spirit. Oh Lord, we love You and we open to You! Dispense Yourself into us a little more today. We praise You, Lord Jesus, for being the centre of the processed Triune God! Amen!

We believers in Christ are those who not only heard the gospel and believed, but who have God in Christ as the Spirit with our spirit.

The Lord Jesus said that He will not leave us orphans but will come back to us; He said He will ask the Father to send us another Comforter who will be with us and in us, even the Spirit of reality.

Christ came as God incarnated and He went to the Father through death and resurrection, then He returned to us in His resurrection as the Spirit of reality.

Now Christ is in us and with us, even in our spirit, as the Spirit with our spirit. Today the Lord is the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:17), for the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45).

Hallelujah, the Spirit with our spirit is the most mysterious matter about us, and it is also the secret of our Christian life!

We can live the Christian life not merely by trying to please God, now that we know what He wants from us; we live the Christian life by means of the Spirit with our spirit.

We have a mingled spirit; God as the Spirit is in our spirit, and when we exercise our spirit and abide in the Lord by remaining in our spirit, we spontaneously fulfil God’s righteous requirements and live Christ.

May we learn this secret. May we realise that our God went through a process in order to become the Spirit with our spirit, and may we treasure our mingled spirit.

Throughout the day, day by day, even moment by moment, may we keep turning to our spirit to enjoy all that Christ is to us. Amen, may we learn to live in the spirit today so that Christ may be expressed through us!

Christ is the Centre of the Processed Triune God: our God was Processed and Consummated!

And the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Cor. 3:17

The Gospel of Matthew shows us that Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God; Christ is the centrality and universality of God and His economy, and in particular, Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God.

This means that our Triune God was processed in the Son, Jesus Christ. God was not processed as the Father or as the Spirit; He was processed or went through a process mainly in the Son.

It is in Christ that God went through a process, and the consummation of that process was that He became the life-giving Spirit.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten from the Father), full of grace and reality. John 1:1, 14The Father has planned and arranged, and the Son came as the One sent by the Father to be incarnated.

He stepped out of eternity into time and was incarnated to be a man. In John 1:1 we see that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. In verse 14 we see that the Word, who is God, became flesh; this is a process, for God became something – He became flesh.

Through this process, He picked up and put upon Himself the human nature with the flesh. Amazing!

In eternity past, God was “unprocessed” for He had only divinity, which is perfect and wonderful; however, in His economy, He went through a process, starting with His incarnation.

He had divinity, and through incarnation, He picked up humanity. Then, as He lived on the earth for thirty-three and a half years, God picked up the human living with all its experiences and sufferings.

Then He picked up the element and experience of death and resurrection.

Through all these things, God was processed, for many things were added to God; as He went through this process, Christ as the centre of the processed Triune God picked up incarnation, the human element, the human living, death, and resurrection.

All these elements were compounded and added to Him, and in His resurrection He became a life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45).

Now all that God is with all that Christ as the centre of the processed Triune God has passed through and experienced, are all in the Spirit.

The fact that God became the flesh and then He became the Spirit show that our God was processed and consummated.

Now the processed and consummated Triune God is the Spirit for our enjoyment and experience. In 2 Corinthians 13:14, we are told that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God the Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is with us all.

The processed and consummated Triune God is dispensing all that He is into us for our enjoyment and experience.

Matthew 28:19 similarly says that we are to baptise the nations into the processed Triune God, into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Triune God who was processed and consummated is not merely for our doctrinal understanding or theological apprehension but for our enjoyment and experience in our Christian life.

May we see and appreciate Christ as the centre of the processed Triune God.

The Triune God wanted to be enjoyed and experienced by man, so He went through a process in His economy; in Himself, in His essence, God needs no change or perfecting, but in His economy, for what He desires to accomplish, He went through a process.

Now we can enjoy the love of God the Father expressed through the grace of Christ the Son and flowing as the fellowship of the Holy Spirit in our spirit.

Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:19 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Cor. 13:14The processed Triune God is now available and near to us for our enjoyment and experience today.

The Triune God can be experienced by us and enjoyed by us as love, grace, and fellowship.

Thank the Lord that He has become enjoyable and experiential to us because of going through a process and being consummated!

One of the early church fathers, Theophilus of Antioch (A.D. 115-188) was the first one who used the word Trinity in his writings, and the word triune was also used at around the same time.

Throughout the centuries, many loving seekers of Christ have dug deep in the word of God to see how we can enjoy and experience God, and today we can know with certainty that Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God and we can enjoy the processed and consummated Triune God!

There is one name, but God is three-in-one, and the Son is the centre of the processed Triune God. Amazing! Wonderful!

This one name, the Triune God, encompasses the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.

The name of the Divine Trinity is the sum total of the Divine Being, equivalent to His person.

Thank the Lord for the processes He went through in His Divine Trinity so that He may become the consummated Spirit with our spirit for our enjoyment and participation today!

Lord Jesus, we love You and we appreciate You! You are the most wonderful One! Thank You for being the centre of the processed Triune God! Wow, in Christ, the Triune God went through a process in order to be enjoyed and experienced by man! Thank You, Lord, for revealing to us that God came to us through incarnation, human living, death, and resurrection to become a life-giving Spirit to be enjoyed by us! Hallelujah, Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God, and today God in Christ as the Spirit is with our spirit to be experienced and enjoyed by us! Wow, the Triune God went through a process in His divine economy to be incarnated, live a human life, die on the cross, and be resurrected so that He may be consummated as the Spirit! Hallelujah, now the Triune God is enjoyable and experiential to us because He is the consummated Spirit! Amen, Lord, unveil us to see You, enjoy You, and experience You as the Spirit, the consummation of the processed Triune God!

The “Raw” God went through a Process to be the Processed and Consummated Triune God

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and will bear a son, and she will call his name Immanuel. Isa. 7:14

When some Christians hear that God was processed, they feel offended; they may even say that this is a blasphemy, for God is perfect, almighty, and in need of nothing – how can God be processed?

However, if we read the New Testament, based on many prophecies in the Old Testament, we see that God’s desire from eternity was to become a man.

The almighty God became a child; the virgin bore a Son, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and this One was a God-man (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:23).

For God to be born in man shows that God went through a process. Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God, for it is in Christ that God went through this process.

Somehow, mysteriously and mystically yet in a very real way, God entered into the womb of a human virgin, stayed in the womb and grew normally, and then was born as a man. Wow! God was processed through incarnation.

Then, this God-man who was a baby, Jesus (also called Emmanuel), lived a human life and walked on earth for thirty-three and a half years. Wasn’t this a process?

If God had just descended from heaven, accomplished redemption, done some great works, and in a short period of time leave earth, that would not be a process; but He took His time, even thirty-three and a half years, to go through a process.

He experienced the suffering, pain, hunger, thirst, and everything related to the human life, and He went through unimaginable pain when He was crucified.

He went through the long “tunnel” of human living and then entered into death. We cannot fully apprehend how this can be, but God went to the cross and died; the Immortal died on the cross in a man and as a man.

However, death could not hold the living One. He entered into death, took a tour of death and Hades, and three days later, came out of death in resurrection (Acts 2:24, 27; 1 Cor. 15:55).

In His resurrection, according to 1 Corinthians 15:45, Christ as the last Adam became or was made a life-giving Spirit.

This Spirit was prophesied in John 7:39, where the Lord Jesus said that He wants to give us to drink the living water, which refers to the Spirit whom He became when He was glorified.

God was the Spirit already, as seen in Genesis 1, for the Spirit of God was brooding upon the waters; however, as a result of the process He went through, He became the Spirit in a new and wonderful way, for now He is the life-giving Spirit to impart all that He is into us.

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, And from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood. Rev. 1:4-5Before His incarnation, God was unprocessed, having the divine nature but not the human nature, but through incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, the Triune God was processed and consummated. Hallelujah!

In the book of Revelation, we see the Triune God as the processed and consummated Triune God with divinity, humanity, human living, the all-inclusive death, the powerful resurrection, and the transcendent ascension (Rev. 1:4-5).

He is the One who is and who was and who is coming, He is the seven Spirits, and He is the faithful Witness, the Firstborn from the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth.

This is our God today; He is no longer the “raw” God but the “processed God”, even the “consummated God” because God went through a process.

This is what the Bible reveals to us, and this is what we believe.

Actually, the only way for God to be enjoyed and experienced by us is by the processes He went through, for unless He became a man and then became the Spirit, there’s no way for Him to come into our spirit and be our everything.

Now we have the Spirit of God, and we are in the spirit, for we are of Him (Rom. 8:9). Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming into us as the Spirit to be joined to our spirit and mingled with us as one spirit! Hallelujah, the Triune God stepped out of eternity into time to be processed through incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection! Amen, Lord, may we see that, before His incarnation, God was unprocessed, having the divine nature but not the human nature! May we realise that the God we believe into and receive today is the God who was incarnated, lived a human life, died on the cross, resurrected, and has ascended! Praise the Lord, Christ is the centre of the processed Triune God, and we have Christ as the Spirit in our spirit! Wow, how amazing it is to see that God today is the processed and consummated Triune God to enter into us, dwell in us, mingle Himself with us, and be our life and our everything! How wonderful it is that we can enjoy and experience the processed and consummated Triune God simply by calling on the name of Jesus! Oh Lord Jesus!
