If we see the flow, if we see God’s desire, if we see the Lord’s recovery, and if we taste of the sweet church life, yet we are not absolute for the Lord and for the Lord’s recovery, there’s a danger that we would be a swamp and a marsh. “Our stand concerning the church must be absolute. If you stand in a denomination, you should stand absolutely….If you stand on the ground of the church, you must stand absolutely. You should be either cold or hot, but you should not be lukewarm” (life-study of Ezekiel). [continue reading online]
everything shall live where the river flows; we need to be absolute for the Lord and His recovery
the Lord’s measuring increases the flow of life: we are restricted and the life is flowing!
It seems that the more the Lord shines on us and measures us, the more inconvenient it is for us to do the things everyone else considers normal to do, and we are restricted by the divine life within us from many things. What we get is an increased supply, an increasing level in the river of grace. How much we need to be enlightened and measured by the Lord! [continue reading online]
the more we allow the Lord to measure, judge, test, and possess us, the deeper the flow becomes
Lord, may there be enough water in my being that one can swim in! When the flow increases to such an extent, there is no more human effort to go on in the flow – we are directed and guided by the flow of the river wherever it goes. No more human effort, human strength, or human struggle – we are carried along with the flow! [continue reading online]
Being a Christian Student on the Campus – normal students who enjoy the Lord
When I first hit university, my initial thought was that I also want to be like the serving ones on campus, preaching the gospel, getting into the truth and enjoy the Lord with others 24/7. That was when reality (no pun intended) hit me: How can I be a student and still enjoy the Lord? I cannot just enjoy the Lord because then I fail my exams, and I cannot just study because then I do not enjoy the Lord and I become dry. How do you balance the two?
Being a Christian Student on the Campus – studying and loving the Lord at the same time!
I don’t always have the time to read my Holy Word for Morning Revival, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have morning revival. My time with the Lord starts in the morning and it goes on until I go to bed at night. I enjoy praying on my own but also together with my fellow sisters. Being in the Body of Christ really helps.
Being a Christian Student on the campus – no matter how busy you are, never leave the church life!
It is both crucial and watering to attend the home meetings, the prayer meetings, and the Lord’s table meetings as much as you can; it would be excellent to make it to as many conferences as possible too. However, as students, our priorities right now are to take care of our studies, and we shouldn’t just aim for “average” – we should definitely aim for the highest, best education
we need to see the divine stream and keep ourselves in the unique flow of God today!
Whenever we do things without the Head and without the Body as the reality, we are in a movement. We may get some people to follow us and do something good for the Lord – but if we initiate things and do things without the Head and without the fellowship of the Body (Col. 2:19), we may be in a movement of man outside of the divine stream. If there’s no prayer, no fellowship, no Body of Christ, then there’s no flow, no divine stream
