We need to daily labour on Christ and have a rich surplus of Christ to bring a harvest of Christ to the meetings of the church for our genuine worship of God.
Because the church is the issue of the surplus of the enjoyment and experience of Christ of all the saints, we need to give ourselves to the Lord to labour on Christ throughout the day so that we may have something of Christ to bring to the meetings of the church for our worship of God. Amen!
This is not something that we decide that, from today onward, we will labour on Christ, and we will definitely gain something of Christ to bring to the meetings of the church.
Rather, this is a daily experience, a daily living before the Lord and with the Lord.
The Christian life is not a deliberate life, a life in which we deliberately do this or that thing, practice this or that matter, or perform this or that religious act.
It may seem this way outwardly, for many around us may wonder why do we need to spend so much time with God and reading the Bible, and why do we have so many meetings, but the reality of our Christian life should be a constant contact with the Lord, a living in our mingled spirit by contacting the Lord all the time. Amen!
The Christian meetings are proper only when we all come to the Lord day by day, exercise our spirit to contact Him, live in the spirit and by the Spirit, and have the experiences of Christ that we need.
In our personal life, we need to come to the Lord and enjoy Him, partake of Him, and experience Him.
Each one of us has the responsibility and the privilege to contact the Lord personally in his or her set of circumstances so that we may gain something of Christ that only they have to bring to the meetings of the church for the building up of the church and the worship of God. Amen!
We need to daily come to God with Christ as the reality of all the offerings, applying Christ as the reality of the sin offering, the trespass offering, and the peace offering.
We need to take Christ as our absoluteness by laying our hands on Him and taking Him as our burnt offering.
Then, we will have the experience of Christ that will lead to having a portion of Christ, a surplus of Christ, for us to bring to the meetings for the corporate worship of God with all the saints.
Whenever we meet with the saints, we meet with Christ filing our hands; Christ should fill our spiritual hands when we come to the meetings of the church so that we may offer this Christ to the Father and lay before the saints for their mutual enjoyment and satisfaction.
When we do this, when we all labour on Christ in our personal life and bring the surplus of Christ to the meetings of the church, we exhibit Christ.
Hallelujah, let us exhibit Christ by bringing a rich harvest of Christ to the meetings of the church!
Fight the Battle concerning the Genuine Worship of God by Coming to Him with a Harvest of Christ
There is a battle raging today concerning the genuine worship of God, and this battle has not yet been won.
We may say that we worship God and that so many Christians openly say and declare that they worship God, but the real worship of God, the genuine worship of God, is with the Christ that we have enjoyed and experienced.
Merely saying, I worship God, doesn’t necessarily mean that we worship God, just as saying, Lord, Lord, I did all these things in Your name, doesn’t necessarily mean that the Lord has approved us or known us subjectively. Oh, Lord Jesus.
Our mouth may say good things toward God, for we may declare that we worship Him and adore Him, but our hearts may be far away from Him.
Therefore, it all comes down to our daily living, to our daily enjoyment and experience of Christ.
We need to labour on the all-inclusive Christ in order to have a surplus of Christ to bring to the church meetings for the corporate worship of God our Father (John 4:23-24; Eph. 3:21).
God the Father wants to be worshipped, but the enemy has robbed Him of the genuine worship of God because so many, even too many, believers in Christ do not daily labour on Christ and so they do not have the surplus of Christ to bring to the meetings of the church. Oh, Lord Jesus!
We need to realize that in each meeting we come to exhibit Christ and to worship God with the Christ we have enjoyed and experienced.
We need to realize that there’s a battle for our genuine worship of God, and we need to come to Him with a harvest of Christ, the riches of Christ that have been wrought into us and enjoyed by us.
When we come to the meetings of the church, we need to be church conscious with the resurrected Christ, for we are meeting with the resurrected Christ for the ascended Christ and in the Lord’s name! Amen!
When we meet, we need to have a proper life in Spirit, by demonstrating our spirit, by Christ singing, with many praises, with praising through our experience of Christ, and with Christ-filled praises.
This should be the content of our meetings.
The Lord today is interceding for us not only to grow in life unto maturity but also for the Father to be satisfied by having many worshippers who offer Him genuine worship in spirit and in truthfulness.
The more we advance in the Lord and the more we know Him and realize what is in His heart, the more we see that there’s a battle concerning the genuine worship of God.
We do not want God to be deprived of the worship that He desires.
This worship is not only at the Lord’s table meeting or in the meeting for the worship of the Father; it is in every meeting.
The time has come for God to win the battle concerning the genuine worship of God.
Not just worship, but genuine worship. For our worship of Him, the Father requires that we come to Him with a harvest of Christ; therefore, we need to come to the church meetings with the riches of Christ that have been enjoyed and experienced by us (Eph. 3:8).
This is what the Father requires. This is what is in His heart.
But He will never come to us in a powerful way to demand worship from us; rather, He infuses us with what He is, and His heart’s desire becomes our heart’s desire.
Our Father relates to us in a loving, caring, and patient way.
Even though He has been waiting for centuries, He still desires to obtain genuine worship in spirit and truthfulness.
May we say Amen to His desire and, though we realize that we cannot do it, may we let the Lord do it in us, with us, and through us.
He gives us the command or requirement, and we simply need to agree with Him, admit we can’t do it, and allow Him to do it in us.
We agree that we should give God the genuine worship He desires, but we can’t give it to Him, so we allow the Lord to come in and do it in us, through us, and with us.
In this way, we gain a harvest of Christ. We can genuinely tell the Lord,
Lord Jesus, we give ourselves to You today. We want to offer the Father the genuine worship that He desires. Make us the true worshippers, those who worship God in spirit and in truthfulness. Amen, Lord, for this worship to God in spirit, we want to daily labour on Christ to gain the riches of Christ and bring a rich harvest of Christ to the meetings of the church! We open to You today. We say that in ourselves we can’t do it and we don’t even want to do it, but we allow You to obtain this in us and work this out in us. Amen, Lord, we want to daily labour on Christ to have a harvest of Christ’s riches to bring to the meetings of the church for the corporate worship of God the Father. Work this out in us and among us. May all the saints be diligent and faithful to contact the Lord, enjoy the Lord, and experience Christ so that there would be a harvest of Christ brought to the meetings of the church for the genuine worship of God corporately!
Diligently Labour on Christ to have our Hands Full of Christ and Meet to have an Exhibition of Christ
Based on the Lord’s speaking in Deuteronomy concerning the times the people of Israel came together before God in the place of His choice, there must have been a great feast with much rejoicing during these times!
When they came together, they brought a surplus of the good land such as flocks, wine, milk, honey, and fresh wheat.
There must have been an abundance of food and many riches of the land, and even the poorer ones could eat and be satisfied, for many others shared their surplus with them.
Above all, God must have been satisfied, for He had His food brought from His people who have laboured on His land, and He was eating and rejoicing with His people.
This is a type of how our meetings in the church life should be.
Our coming together is to have an exhibition of the rich produce of Christ as the all-inclusive good land.
This means that we need to diligently labour on Christ to have our hands full of Christ, and then come to the meetings of the church to enjoy this rich and glorious Christ with God’s children and with God the Father Himself. Amen!
Each one of us has been allotted a portion of Christ – we have been qualified by God to partake of this rich One, and now we all need to labour on Him (Col. 1:12).
We need to be recovered back to God’s intention concerning our meetings as the church.
Whether we have a prayer meeting, a small group meeting, a gospel meeting, a Lord’s Table Meeting, a prophesying meeting, or any other kind of meeting, we need to meet together by bringing a portion of our experience of Christ so that our meetings would be an exhibition of Christ. Amen!
1 Cor. 14:26 says, What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.
What then, brothers and sisters?
As a result of our labour of Christ throughout the weak, each one of us has something of Christ that we can bring to the meetings of the church for the genuine worship of God and our feasting together with God and in Christ, thus exhibiting Christ!
As we all bring the riches of Christ to the meetings of the church, we will become the fullness of Christ, a rich exhibition of Christ for all to see.
On one hand, our need is met, for our thirst is quenched, our hunger is satisfied, and our problems are solved and we are built up together.
On the other hand, God the Father is satisfied and Christ is exhibited, for there’s the genuine worship of God among us with the riches of Christ, and the church is built up.
When we have a rich harvest of Christ in the meetings, the church is built up and Christ is exhibited.
However, if we don’t have the real experience of Christ in our daily life, it is not possible for us to have the reality of the church.
If we don’t contact the Lord daily, if we don’t exercise our spirit to enjoy Him and experience Him, the church life may be a routine, filled with social activities and meetings and not full of enjoyment. Oh, Lord Jesus!
If we have only the riches of Christ objectively, in our mind and understanding, but without having a personal and subjective enjoyment of these riches, we have no surplus, and without the surplus, there’s no fullness.
May we all be enriched by the experience and enjoyment of Christ in our daily life.
May we practice contacting the Lord by exercising our spirit, thus labouring on Christ!
The seed of life has been sown into us, and we need to till the ground, water the seed, nourish it, and let the sunshine on it.
This means that we daily need to come to the Lord in His word, turn our hearts to Him, exercise our spirit to contact Him, and deal with the Lord and be dealt with by Him.
Also, we need to trust in the Lord and speak the gospel.
As we do this for a period of time, we will notice that there’s something of the riches of Christ that is enjoyed and experienced by us, and there will be a harvest of Christ that we can bring to the meetings of the church.
We will have a surplus of Christ, and we can bring our portion of Christ to the meetings in a rich way; to Him will be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus (Eph. 3:21).
There, in the meetings, we will offer the riches of Christ to God and set them before others, so that God may be satisfied with the genuine worship of God and the saints may be richly supplied and satisfied.
This kind of meeting, service, ministry, and contribution by all the saints with the riches of Christ, the harvest of Christ, will issue in the church as the fullness of the reality and essence of Christ.
May the Lord recover the genuine experience of Christ for a surplus of His riches in the meetings in order to produce the essence and reality of the church life!
May we cooperate with the Lord not only weekly or daily but throughout the day to labour on Christ by exercising our spirit to contact the Lord and partake of the riches of Christ.
Then, when we come together with a harvest of Christ, having our hands full of Christ, we will have a rich exhibition of Christ and we will offer genuine worship of God to the Father, for His satisfaction.
Lord Jesus, recover among us the genuine experience of Christ for a surplus of His riches in the meetings in order to produce the essence and reality of the church life. Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to enjoy and experience You day by day so that we may obtain Your riches and have Your being wrought into us. We want to have a harvest of Christ to bring to the meetings of the church for the genuine worship of God and the corporate exhibition of Christ. Oh Lord, may You be satisfied with us and among us. May the church life be the fullness of Christ, coming out of our enjoyment and experience of the riches of Christ. For this, Lord, we exercise our spirit not only once a week or once a day but continually! Keep us in our spirit today! Fill our spiritual hands with something of Christ! May our meetings be filled with the riches of Christ being displayed for the saints to enjoy, for the Father to gain His worship, and for Christ to be exhibited!

Eating the Lord, Chapter 4, by Witness Lee
The Fulfillment of the Tabernacle and the Offerings in the Writings of John, Chapter 15, by Witness Lee
If we don’t enjoy and experience Christ day by day, the church life will merely be a routine for us.
But if we exercise our spirit throughout the day to enjoy the Lord and experience Him, we will have our hands full of Christ, even having a harvest of Christ to bring to the meetings of the church for our genuine worship of God, for an exhibition of Christ, and for the saints supply and enjoyment.
Amen, may we be those who enjoy and experience Christ day by day, moment by moment so that our church life will not be a routine but an expression of the Christ we have enjoyed and experienced.
We will have a surplus to outflow the Christ’s riches which we have enjoyed.
Without contacting, enjoying and experiencing the Lord daily we will not have a surplus to bring to the church meetings and to worship the Father.
We must contact the Lord morning, afternoon and evening, enjoying His riches, to have a rich exhibition of Christ, the fullness of Christ.
In this way we will have the church life in reality.
Today God desires the genuine worship of true worshippers.
Amen brother. Our enjoyment of the riches of Christ must not be merely objective.
Without a personal, subjective enjoyment of Christ, we have no surplus and, without the surplus, there is no fullness.
We need to continually contact, enjoy, experience & partake of Christ by the exercise of our spirit.
We need to allow the Lord to deal with us each day so that we would trust in Him and have the boldness to speak the gospel.
May we never come to the meetings empty-handed.
Always, we should come to the meetings with a surplus for God’s satisfaction and for the satisfaction of others.
Amen! May we exercise our spirit to enjoy Christ morning, noon and night so that we can exhibit Him in the meetings and be filled with His riches for the satisfaction of God.
Without labouring on the good land, Christ, we will not have something to share.
So, labouring and experiencing Him every day can qualify us to have surplus.
If we have surplus, we can be qualified to give or share with others or with other church members so that the church can be edified.
This is the real and proper church life.
Praise the Lord dear brother.
May we be those who worship the Father by coming to Him with a harvest of Christ; thus, we need to come to the church meetings with the riches of Christ. Hallelujah!
This is the Christ that we have enjoyed, experienced, and produced through our labouring on Him. Amen.
Amen! We must daily labour on the Lord.
Then we come to the meetings with the riches of Christ to offer to God.
This is the kind of meeting the Lord is looking for.
For all to bring their portion and to express Christ together.
Oh amen! Lord make us the best enjoyers and save us from a mere routine! Day by day dear Lord
Praise the Lord!😃🙌🙋🏼
Amen brother!

6/6/24 The Surplus of the Produce of the Good Land and the Corporate Worship of God the Father in Truthfulness (Week 11, Day 4)
We must realize that our Christian life is for our church life. It is not enough that we enjoy Christ just for ourselves, but our individual enjoyment of Christ must issue into the corporate enjoyment of Christ. We may labor on Christ simply for us to personally enjoy and experience Him with some of His unsearchable riches, but it may not be enough to share them with the other saints in the church meetings.
We need to labor more on Christ and all His unsearchable riches by taking more time to absorb Him personally so that we may, not only reap a produce for ourselves, but, also gain a rich surplus, an extra enjoyment of Christ and His riches, to be brought to the meetings of the church. Our individual enjoyment of Christ must be for the collective enjoyment of Christ. Thus, our collective enjoyment of the spiritial surplus that we brought into the meetings will become our corporate worship of God.
Those who are enjoying the Christian life for the church life still do not know how to meet, so the book of 1 Corinthians is needed. The book of 1 Corinthians particularly speaks concerning how to meet. First Corinthians is the only book, the unique book, that deals with all problems for the church meeting life.
First Corinthians 14:26 says, “What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, and has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.” This verse shows us that in coming to the meetings of the church, we must not come empty-handed. Each one of us must come with a rich surplus to be shared with others ~ a psalm, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation.
But then, there are those who were lazy and did not work hard would have no harvest, no produce. They would become poor, having nothing on which to live. Furthermore, they would come to the meeting with their hands empty. This means that they would go to the meeting in a poor way, with nothing in their hands to offer, to contribute, with which they could worship God. In the meeting, they could neither pray nor speak concerning Christ because they had not enjoyed nor experienced Christ in a subjective way.
Therefore, we all must labor diligently, not just to bring forth enough produce to satisfy our own needs but also to acquire a surplus to meet the needs of others, with the best reserved for the Lord. Then we will be acceptable to the Lord, and He will be pleased with us.
In our church meetings today, having labored on Christ, we may reap a rich produce for our individual enjoyment and also gain a surplus to be brought to the church meetings. In our church meetings, we shall then share our enjoyment of Christ to all the attendees ~ the poor, the needy, and the saints (priests). And most of all, we share our testimonies and our enjoyment of the riches of Christ. There will be a mutual display and exhibition of Christ. In such a meeting both we and God will be satisfied, and the Christ we display will be an offering to God.
Ephesians 1:22 and 23 say, “He subjected all things under His feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church, which is His Body, the fullness of the One who fills all in all.” As the One who fills all in all in the entire universe, Christ is universal, and the church is His Body, His fullness. The fullness of Christ is the result and issue of our corporate enjoyment of the riches of Christ. When the riches of Christ are dispensed into our being, they constitute us to be the fullness of Christ, the Body of Christ, as His expression.

We need to labor on the all-inclusive Christ in order to have a surplus of Christ to bring to the church meetings for the corporate worship of God our Father. When we truly enjoy Christ we spontaneously have a surplus of the experience of Christ to bring to the church.
We have the adequate experience of Christ to feed on and live by, and we also have a surplus, the tithe, the best portion of our experience of Christ set aside to offer to God when we come together.
Then the meetings become an exhibition of the riches of Christ.
May our meeting be such!
May Your church be a wise exhibition of Your unsearchable riches and Your multifarious wisdom. Do this Lord.
