Living Christ and Allowing Him to Live in us for us to Live in the Jubilee Today

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.

The Lord Jesus came as the real jubilee, and when we receive Him and live by Him and let Him live in us, we are living in the jubilee.

Then everything will be to our satisfaction, for the Christ who lives within us is the One who satisfies us, and He Himself is the secret to our contentment. Hallelujah!

I’m so thankful that the Lord has come and has saved us, and Christ as the real jubilee has entered into us. We all can remember our first days as a believer, when we tasted Christ as the jubilee.

We were so happy, so full of joy, for our sins are forgiven and removed, Christ Himself is our Savior and our inheritance, and He has brought us into His family, the church of God, where we enjoy Christ with all the saints.

Our entire Christian life needs to be a jubilee, for since the Lord Jesus has come, the age of jubilee is here.

It is not only initially, when we were first saved, that we should be full of joy and rejoicing, but daily we need to enjoy the Lord, contact Him, and seek to be filled with Him.

We may be up and down, high and low in our experience of Christ, and we may lose the joy of our salvation, but we can always return to Jesus and contact Him.

The standard of being a Christian is living a life of ecstasy, that is, a life in the Lord, with the Lord, and in the realm of the Spirit. The problem is that we many times are not up to standard because we do not have a sufficient enjoyment of Christ.

Many times when we come to enjoy the Lord we do it half-hearted or in a rush. Many times we touch the Lord only halfway, not opening to Him from all our being to touch His being.

But the Lord Jesus as the real jubilee is waiting for us to come to Him and spend time with Him, opening our whole inner being to Him, and remaining in His presence until He speaks to us and reveals to us what is in His heart.

We need to learn to enter into the Holy of Holies completely, immersing ourselves in His presence and being filled with Him. When we touch the Lord in spirit and remain in this intimate touch with Him, we will be full of joy and rejoicing.

When we tell the Lord again and again that we love Him, abiding in His presence and being infused with Him, we will be jumping for joy.

When we contact the Lord and spend adequate time with Him to have a thorough sufficient enjoyment of God, we are in the jubilee in reality and we touch what’s on God’s heart – not only being delivered from the slavery of Satan and sin but also enjoying God as our inheritance.

Christ is the Jubilee, when we have Christ in us, Living in us, and us Living by Him, we Practically live in the Jubilee

Jubilee means having no worry or anxiety, no concern or care, no lack or shortage, no sickness or calamity, and no problems whatsoever but, rather, having all benefits; hence, all things are pleasant and satisfying to our heart, and we are free from anxiety, at ease, excited, and exultant - Psa. 103:1-5. We must receive the Lord Jesus as the real jubilee in us; if we have Him, we have God as our possession and can be delivered from the bondage of sin and Satan to have real freedom and rest - Acts 26:18; Eph. 1:13-14; Col. 1:12; Matt. 11:28; John 8:32, 36. Witness LeeIn the Old Testament jubilee was a period of time which lasted a year, but today in the New Testament jubilee is a Person, Jesus Christ. When Christ came, jubilee came, and He Himself is the jubilee.

In the Old Testament jubilee was referring to a year, but in the New Testament we have an entire age, the age of grace, which is the age of jubilee.

The age of jubilee is divided in two – the age of grace today, and the age of the millennium, which is the fulness of the jubilee.

Praise the Lord, Christ has come, so the age of jubilee is here! But even though Christ has come, unless we receive Him into us as the real jubilee, we do not experience the jubilee. When we receive Christ, we receive the jubilee and enter into the jubilee.

When we receive Christ, we are released from sin and its power, and we enter into the enjoyment of our divine inheritance, which is Christ Himself, together with the other members of our divine family, the believers in Christ, the church.

When we receive Christ as our Savior and life, He comes into us to be our jubilee, but unless we allow Him to live in us and unless we live by Him, we are not practically living in the jubilee (Lev. 25:11-12). This is crucial to realise.

Many times we feel out of it, not enjoying the Lord and not living in the jubilee. In such times, because we don’t live Christ and He doesn’t live in us, we do not practically live in the jubilee.

We do not enter into the jubilee and remain there once for all, when we were saved initially. Rather, jubilee should be our living – we should daily live in the jubilee by enjoying the Lord, allowing Him to live in us, and living by Him.

If our heart is set on any person, thing, or matter other than the Lord, this is idolatry, and the end is wretchedness (see 1 John 5:21; cf. Ezek. 14:3, 5; 6:9).

When we treasure any other person, thing, matter, activity, etc than the Lord Himself, we have an idol, and the Lord Jesus is replaced in our heart; the result is that we are wretched, and God considers this as harlotry. Oh Lord Jesus!

We need to love only the Lord, set our heart on Him, and have Him only in our heart. When we allow Christ to live in us and we live by Him, everything is to our satisfaction, for He Himself is the secret of our sufficiency and satisfaction.

But if we don’t allow Christ to live in us and we don’t live by the Lord, everything is a problem, and nothing is jubilee. The reason we have so many problems is that we somehow have lost the jubilee temporarily.

We may enjoy the Lord in the morning, be filled with Him, and we may be so satisfied by touching the Lord in our time in the morning with Him.

But then, by 10am our jubilee is over because we focus on so many other things, and we do not let Him live in us, neither do we live by Christ. We need to remain in the Lord, abide in Him, be one with Him, and maintain an unbroken relationship with Him.

Lord Jesus, we take You as our jubilee. We allow You to live in us, and we want to live by You. Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to maintain an uninterrupted fellowship with You, so that we may abide in You as You abide in us. Lord, we want to be one with You and live in the jubilee today – and every day of our life. Save us from having an idol. Save us from anything that replaces You. We give You, Lord, the first thing in our heart by faith. Only You can satisfy us. Only You can bring us happiness and joy, and only You can give us rest for our souls. Amen, Lord, we come to You and we want to be one with You!

Gaining Christ and Living Christ to live in the Jubilee a life full of Satisfaction and with no Anxiety

If we allow Christ to live in us and we live by Him, everything is to our satisfaction; otherwise, everything is a problem, and nothing is a jubilee. Everything can be satisfying to us only after we have gained the all-inclusive Christ as our enjoyment; it is not outward persons, matters, or things but Christ within us who enables us to be calm and free of worries as we face all kinds of situations - Phil. 3:8-9; 415-8, 11-13. Witness LeeTo live in the jubilee means that we have no worry or anxiety, we have no concern or care, we have no sickness or calamity, we have no lack or shortage, and we have no problems whatsoever.

Living in the jubilee means that we have all benefits, and everything is according to our satisfaction. This sounds too good or high to be true but the Lord wants us to live such a life on earth today.

When He came, the Lord Jesus said, come to me, all you who toil and are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest for your souls (Matt. 11:28-29).

He came as the jubilee and we can experience the jubilee today by receiving Christ, living Christ, and allowing Christ to live in us, and the result is that we life a life with no worry or anxiety, no sickness or calamity, and no problems whatsoever. This truly sounds like heaven, doesn’t it?

Today we may be too anxious, worrying about this and that. But what we need to do is sing and be jubilant! We need to enjoy the Lord and forget about our anxiety. We just need to come to the Lord again and again and be delivered from our anxiety.

We may be bound right now but when we come to the Lord, He sets us free! Christ came to proclaim emancipation – He has set us free, He released us from bondage, and we should no longer go back to the dungeon! Hallelujah!

We who have the Son have the life, and when we eat His words in prayer, we are being set free! Amen! Everything can be satisfying to us only after we have gained the all-inclusive Christ as our enjoyment.

Like Paul testified in Phil. 4:11-13, we need to learn the secret of being content, the secret of satisfaction, which is enjoying Christ and living Christ. It’s not outward persons, matters, or things that can satisfy us and free us from anxiety or sin, but it is the Christ within that enables us to be calm and free of worries as face all kinds of situations.

If we live by Christ in a certain matter and allow Him to live in us, we enjoy jubilee in that matter. In this way everything pertaining to that particular matter is to our satisfaction. In our married life, for example, if we allow Christ to live in us and we also live by Christ, then everything in our marriage will be to our satisfaction. Whatever is unpleasant becomes pleasant, and whatever is not satisfying becomes satisfying....If we allow Christ to live in us and if we live by Him, everything is to our satisfaction. Otherwise, everything is a problem, and nothing is a jubilee....When Christ comes into us, jubilee comes into us. Witness Lee, The Jubilee, pp. 10-11Hallelujah, the Christ who lives in us can save us from the slavery of sin, the usurpation of the world, and from any anxiety. If in any matter and situation we live by Christ and allow him to live in us, we enjoy the jubilee in that matter.

But if we don’t live Christ, everything is unpleasant and there are many problems. The reason our family life, marriage life, and church life has problems is that we don’t enjoy Christ, live Christ, and let Christ live in us.

When we enjoy Christ and allow Him to live in us and live by Christ, everything in our marriage life will be to our satisfaction. When Christ lives in us and we live by Christ, everything is to our satisfaction, and we live in the jubilee.

Being calm is a sign we are enjoying the jubilee. When we are not upset and discombobulated, when we are calm and free of worries even though our outward environment is not so good or positive, we live in the jubilee.

Hallelujah, the Lord is near! The reason we can live Christ and let Him live in us is that He is near to us – He is right inside of us. Hallelujah, jubilee is in us for jubilee Jesus lives in us!

In all circumstances we can learn the secret of being content – living Christ and letting Christ live in us. We simply need to stay in the jubilee Jesus!

Lord Jesus, we want to remain in You by enjoying You and allowing You to live in us so that we may live by You. Lord, we are satisfied only after we gain You as the all-inclusive Christ as our enjoyment. Nothing else satisfies us, Lord – only You satisfy us! Keep us enjoying You and living You until You within us enable us to be calm and free of worries as we face all kinds of situations! Amen, Lord, we want to live in the jubilee today in the church life! We praise You Lord Jesus! You are our Jubilee Jesus!
