As we partake of Christ as the meal offering, we become the reproduction of Christ, the church as a corporate meal offering, and what we eat is not just Christ but Christ with the church life as a meal offering.
The goal of eating Christ at the meal offering is not merely us being nourished go live a proper Christian life or to serve the Lord, but for us to become the reproduction of Christ as the meal offering.
We become what we eat – if we eat Christ as the meal offering, with all the ingredients of His perfect and high humanity mingled with the Spirit, His crucified life and living, and His resurrection life and power, we will become a corporate meal offering to God and to others – we become the reproduction of Christ.
We should not be discouraged as we look at ourselves and compare ourselves with the Lord, thinking that He had such a high standard of morality while we sometimes behave without a sense of morality.
Yes, Christ lived a life of the highest standard of morality by expressing the bountiful God in His rich attributes through His aromatic human virtues, but He now with His living is our food, and we can eat Him and become His reproduction for the fulfilment of God’s purpose.
God is expressed in the living that is according to the highest standard of morality, and we can have such a living only when we eat Christ as the meal offering to become His reproduction on earth.
We are not called to outwardly imitate Christ or try to behave like He did, but to eat Christ, eat His human living, and drink His humanity, and we will spontaneously repeat the same kind of life that Christ lived when He was on earth.
Just like the Lord Jesus, we are men with a genuine human nature, and we are mingled with the Spirit day by day; furthermore, we learn to live a crucified life by the power of and with the aroma of resurrection.
As we eat Christ as the meal offering, we become a reproduction of Christ as the meal offering, and the church life becomes a corporate meal offering; now both us and God can feed on Christ with the church life as a meal offering.
God wants to have a meal offering church life in every locality, so that He may be expressed, satisfied, and pleased, and so that the people in that city would feed on Christ and the church life as the meal offering.
May we eat, digest, and assimilate Christ we the meal offering so that we may become His reproduction – the church life as the corporate meal offering.
By Partaking of Christ as the Meal Offering we become the Reproduction of Christ, a Corporate Meal Offering
By partaking of Christ as the meal offering, we become the reproduction of Christ – the church as a corporate meal offering (see Lev. 2:1-4; 1 Cor. 12:12; 10:17). In Rom. 8 we see how we are becoming a duplication of Christ as the meal offering.
We as the church should be a copy, a reproduction of Christ, and thus be the same as He is. Christ became a person in the flesh – we today are persons in the flesh. Christ was mingled with the Spirit (“oiled” with the Spirit) – we are daily being oiled with the Spirit who dwells in us and mingles Himself with us.
Now we need to set our mind on the mingled spirit, not on the flesh (Rom. 8:6), and then by the Spirit we will put to death the practices of the body (Rom. 8:13). If we do this, we will live, and this life will be a life in resurrection – with the result that we become suitable to be a meal offering for God’s satisfaction.
Christ lived a life for the satisfaction of the Father – He lived a life of divinity mingled with humanity, divinity expressed through humanity, and He lived a crucified life with the aroma of resurrection; He is the reality of the meal offering, having the fragrance that ascends to God for His satisfaction.
As members of Christ, we all should be His duplication and live the same kind of life that He lived.
We should be a copy, a reproduction, of Christ, and thus be the same as He is; God’s desire is to have many sons conformed to the image of His firstborn Son, so that together we may be Christ’s duplication as the meal offering.
If we eat Christ as the meal offering, we will be constituted with Christ and thereby we will become the enlargement of Christ as the meal offering – the church as the corporate Christ, the meal offering (Lev. 2:3; 1 Cor. 12:12; 10:17).
The church life as a corporate meal offering is signified by the one bread in 1 Cor. 10:17, which says, Seeing that there is one bread, we who are many are one Body; for we all partake of the one bread.
The bread – or cake – signifies the corporate life.
We partake of Christ and we become His reproduction as the meal offering. We partake of the bread and the cup in a corporate way – which is a sign of the church life and a testimony of the church life, and we become one Body, one bread.
Our need today is to eat Christ as the meal offering so that we may become His reproduction – the church as a corporate meal offering. This means that we need to eat Christ, be mingled with the Spirit, enjoy the Lord’s humanity, and live a life under the cross with the resurrection of Christ as the frankincense, and with no natural affection, evil, or goodness.
If we eat Christ as the meal offering, we become His reproduction, and the whole church life will be a meal offering; in this meal offering the top portion is for God’s enjoyment, and the remainder is for us to enjoy as our daily food in our service to God.
Hallelujah, we can eat Christ with the church life as the meal offering – and God also eats Christ and the church life – for nourishment and satisfaction!
Lord Jesus, we want to partake of You as the meal offering so that we may become Your reproduction – the church as a corporate meal offering for God’s satisfaction and man’s supply. Thank You Lord for coming to indwell us as the Spirit and be mingled with us as one spirit. Keep us in the mingling of God and man as we daily set our mind on the spirit and practice living in the Spirit to put to death the practices of the body. May we eat You as the meal offering every day so that we become the enlargement of Christ as the meal offering – the church as the corporate Christ, the corporate meal offering!
Christ with the Church Life is the Meal Offering for our Supply and God’s Satisfaction
Our eating of Christ as the meal offering will result in constituting us the reproduction and enlargement of Christ as the meal offering – the church as a corporate meal offering. The meal offering – which is our daily supply – is not merely Christ but Christ with the church life (1 Cor. 1:30, 2, 9).
On the one hand we feed on Christ as our meal offering, and on the other hand, we also feed on the church life as the enlargement of Christ as the meal offering. Our hunger is satisfied not only by Christ but also by the church life, and we feed not only on Christ but also on the church life.
Hallelujah, our meal offering is Christ with the church life! We eat the meal offering not only in the first form as flour – the individual Christ, but we also eat the meal offering in the second form as a cake – the corporate Christ, the church (John 6:57; 1 Cor. 12:12; 1:2).
We feed both on Christ and on the church; we cannot live without Christ, and we cannot live without the church. Christ is our supply, and the church life is also our supply. Christ and the church cannot be separated, and Christ with the church life are a great meal offering to us.
No one can say, As long as I enjoy Christ, everything is OK! – such a statement is untrue, for when we enjoy Christ as the meal offering, we will become the meal-offering church life, and we will also enjoy the church life as the meal offering.
Christ with the church as a corporate Christ is the corporate meal offering for our daily supply.
The church life is not an “angelic life” – the church life is a life full of humanity; in the church life we don’t seek to be “spiritual and holy as the angels are” – in the church life we have many saints who learn to live by another life, which is the divine life, and who are mingled with the Spirit, living a crucified life, and scattering the fragrance of resurrection.
In the church life we have our humanity oiled with the Spirit – we seek to be filled with the Spirit inwardly and clothed with the Spirit outwardly.
In the meal-offering church life we are learning to be blended together – we are blended with the Spirit and we are blended in the spirit with all the saints.
The meal offering is a good type of blending, for the fine flour is blended with the oil; blending is a good experience typified by the meal offering. We need to treasure being blended in the church life, and we need to seek to be mingled with the Spirit and blended with the saints in spirit.
As we are mingled with the Spirit and blended with the saints, the church life becomes a meal offering church life, and both Christ with the church are our daily supply. It is a wonderful day when we realize that our spiritual food is Christ with the church life as a corporate meal offering.
May the Lord gain in the coming days in all the churches a meal-offering church life, a life that first satisfies God and then feeds us!
Lord Jesus, cause us to realize, enjoy, and experience Christ with the church life as a corporate meal offering for our supply and God’s satisfaction. Keep us in the mingling of God and man, and blend us with the saints in spirit. May there be much mingling of the Spirit with all the saints in the church life, and may there be much blending in spirit in the church life and among the churches, so that we all may become a corporate meal offering. Oh Lord, may in all the churches there be a meal-offering church life for God’s satisfaction and for our nourishment!

- Hymns on this topic:
# Like Christ, the church is mingled / With Christ’s humanity, / Included in the Spirit, / In life essentially. / The content of the church life, / Both excellent and fine, / Is Spirit-filled and living. / ‘Tis God and man combined. (Song on, The Meal Offering Church Life)
# We must eat Jesus till God can / Have the fulfillment of His plan— / One man expressed for all to see, / One church in each locality. / We’ll masticate Jesus! / We’ll masticate Jesus! / Then to the tent of meeting bring / Jesus, our real meal offering. (Hymns #1146)
# There is one loaf, the symbol of Thy body: / ’Twas broken so that all the saints may share. / We eat this bread and, as we are partaking, / Our actual oneness with all saints declare. (Hymns #1107)

Amen !!! Praise the Lord !!! Christ and the Church…
Lord we want to be Your meal offering
Amen, many members but one body.
Amen hallelujah
Amen Lord Jesus, keep us in the mingling of God and man to be a corporate meal offering for God’s satisfaction and to supply all the saints.
Brother, God desires that every local church be a meal offering that satisfies Him and that fully supplies the saints day by day.
For the meal-offering church life we need to be human; a humanity which is mingled with the Holy Spirit and which has the Holy Spirit poured upon it. 1 Cor. 12:13 says “For also in one Spirit we were all baptized into one Body,……, and were all given to drink one Spirit.” This revile the two aspects of the Spirit for our experience (the indwelling and the pouring out of the Spirit). We need to be oiled by and with the Spirit. We eat the meal offering not only in the first for as flour—the individual Christ; we also eat the meal offering in the second form as cake—the corporate Christ, the church.
主に感謝します! アーメン
[Thank you Lord! Amen.]
The church life is not an angelic life but a life full of humanity. However, some Christians have been told that they should try to be like angels and no longer live like human beings. This concept is altogether wrong….For the church life we need to be very human. But this humanity should not be separate from the Holy Spirit; rather, it should be a humanity which is mingled with the Holy Spirit and which has the Holy Spirit poured upon it. In other words, for the church life we need to be oiled persons, those who are oiled by the Spirit and with the Spirit.
The meal-offering church life can be burned to produce a satisfying fragrance for God, and the remainder of this offering will be our food. This means that we will eat our church life, for the church life will be our daily supply. Thus, the meal offering which is our daily supply is not merely Christ but Christ with the church life. Now we are feeding on Christ, and we are also feeding on the church life. We eat the meal offering not only in the first form as flour—the individual Christ; we also eat the meal offering in the second form as a cake—the corporate Christ, the church. I believe that in the coming days in all the churches we will see a meal-offering church life, a life that first satisfies God and then feeds us. (Life-study of Leviticus, pp. 140-142)
