Praise the Lord for another wonderful Christ filled week at the 2011 Poland Camp. This year the subject for the Camp was ‘Crucial Aspects of God’s Economy Portrayed in Exodus’. The Book of Exodus unlike Genesis begins negatively – Exodus begins with the Children of Israel in a situation of slavery in Egypt under Satan’s usurpation.
Actually, this is similar to the world which we live in today. The people of the world are under Satan’s usurpation. God – in His revelation of the true nature of life in Egypt – wants to cause the children of Israel to hate Egypt and separate themselves from Egypt. We also must see the world so that we may hate the world and separate ourselves from it.
This year, we needed a lot of the Lord’s grace. It rained every day! This is all the enemy’s doing to annoy and disturb the atmosphere of the camp.
But, praise the Lord!, our Lord won the victory and we all enjoyed the Lord fully. This year, I served as a practical serving one along with a few other brothers who are all college age students. It was a different experience because I had always been going to Poland for the camp as a young person.
As a serving one, we need so much more grace. We need to learn how to be shepherds and not just be shepherded. By shepherding others, we get shepherded ourselves. I enjoyed the group time and morning revival that I had with the brothers from House 31A. Praise the Lord, brothers! Are you still enjoying Christ? Continue to eat Christ!
One point that really touched me during the Camp was the hymn, ‘Just as I am’. There was a sentence in the first stanza that really struck me, ‘Just as I am, without one plea, / But that Thy blood was shed for me’. Brothers and sisters, in ourselves, we have no hope. Our Lord loved us so much – He died for us and shed His blood for us. Through His death and resurrection, He has brought us to Himself, so that we can enjoy Him and flow out as rivers.
As Brother Tom G. shared, the young people in Europe are fighting at the frontlines of the battle. Young people, we don’t want to delay the Lord any longer. We want to be the dispensational instrument to bring our Lord back. We are not fighting the battle alone; we are fighting together with each other. We must be men who pray the prayer of the age. Brothers and Sisters, our cry needs to be ‘Come Lord Jesus’. Amen.
