Having an Absolute Consecration to the Lord and Fighting the Spiritual Warfare

But if I, by the Spirit of God, cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matt. 12:28

Spiritual warfare is between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan; we as believers in Christ need to fight for the kingdom of God to come in by having an absolute and thorough consecration before the Lord in the day of His spiritual warfare. Amen!

Spiritual warfare is a necessity today because Satan wants to overthrow God and His kingdom.

God created all things, but there was one particular creature, an archangel who was the morning star, having much beauty and splendour, who rebelled against God.

He wanted to exalt his throne above God’s throne, and a third of the angels followed him in his rebellion.

Through his rebellion against God, he became Satan, God’s adversary, and the devil, the enemy of God.

Now the whole universe, which was originally created by God to be perfect and beautiful, is affected by this universal rebellion against God.

We human beings were created by God in a very special way: we were created in God’s image and according to His likeness (Gen. 1:26) so that we may express God in His image and represent Him with His authority.

God is great, and He will not deal with Satan directly; He wants man to deal with Satan.

God wants that man, the creature, would deal with Satan, another creature.

For this, however, the human will must stand with God’s will and subdue the satanic will.

This is where we come in; as believers in Christ, we are those who choose God, submit to God, and agree with God, and we stand with God’s will on the earth.

Our daily life with all the activities of our daily living are under the throne of God.

As we call on the name of the Lord Jesus, we enthrone Him in our being.

We open our vessel to Him. We choose Him and we are one with Him.

And the Lord is operating in our environment and through so many things in order to work Himself into us, on the positive side, and to help us align our will with His will.

Satan is the deceiver, and he doesn’t seek to gain us for his kingdom – he simply deceives us, cheats us, and ensares us to the point that we are his captives, being usurped by him in everything.

But the Lord is too great: He does not force us to do anything but rather, He displays His beauty and attracts us with His riches, and we willingly offer ourselves to Him, for He is so wonderful, so rich, and so great.

May we stand on the Lord’s side today. May we as the church fight to subdue the satanic will and defeat God’s enemy!

Spiritual Warfare is the Warfare between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan

And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? ... But if I, by the Spirit of God, cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matt. 12:26, 28Spiritual warfare is the warfare between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan (Matt. 12:26, 28).

The Lord Jesus came on earth to bring in the kingdom of God, and this caused spiritual warfare to take place, for the kingdom of Satan had to be exposed, uprooted, and eliminated.

When He cast out demons, He did this by the Holy Spirit to bring in the kingdom of God; He cast out the kingdom of Satan to bring in the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God is versus the kingdom of Satan.

The kingdom of God is eternal, both in time and in space; the kingdom of Satan, however, is not eternal.

The kingdom of Satan is here now, but one day we will completely defeat him, cast him out, and send him into the lake of fire, and his kingdom will cease to exist.

Since God is from eternity to eternity and His kingdom is the enlargement and spreading of His very being, the kingdom of God is eternal both in time and in space.

God is light, and the kingdom of God is in light and of light.

However, Satan is darkness, and whoever is in his kingdom is in darkness.

God’s kingdom is the exact opposite of Satan’s kingdom.

Furthermore, God’s kingdom is legal, while Satan’s kingdom is illegal.

God created the whole universe and everything created belongs to Him; He has the legal right to reign.

But Satan came in, rebelled against God, and usurped the earth and everything in it.

He is the illegal ruler of the world, and his kingdom is illegal (John 14:30).

We believers in Christ are part of the kingdom of God through repentance and faith in Christ, and through baptism we have been transferred out of the kingdom of Satan into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love (Col. 1:13). Praise the Lord!

The kingdom of Satan is organized into a system through which he usurps the air and the earth and everything in them, to the end that he may overthrow God’s authority and set up his own kingdom.

This is an illegal kingdom, and the whole world lies in the evil one, being passively under the sphere of his influence and pernicious operation. Oh, Lord Jesus!

This is why, when the Lord Jesus came, He proclaimed that we need to repent for the kingdom of God!

We need to repent for the kingdom of God, for we were under the kingdom of Satan and God wants us to be transferred into His kingdom.

Now as believers in Christ we pray, Your kingdom come (Matt. 6:10)!

Today Satan is still freely roaming around the earth, seeking people to devour and usurping God’s people.

But one day, at the sound of the seventh trumpet (Rev. 11:15), the kingdom of God will come in full, and there will be great joy in heaven and on the earth. Amen!

Now we as believers in Christ stand for God on the earth to fight for His kingdom to come in.

And the seventh angel trumpeted; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become the [kingdom] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever. Rev. 11:15 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, for You have created all things, and because of Your will they were, and were created. Rev. 4:11From the Lord’s first coming to His second coming, all the works that we as people of God do are instances of spiritual warfare, for anything we do for the Lord and in the Lord is for His kingdom to come in and for the kingdom of Satan to be uprooted and removed.

Thank the Lord that He has rescued us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love!

Now as those who are delivered out of Satan’s kingdom, we stand as the church one with Christ, enjoying and perpetuating His victory, and we bring in the kingdom of God!

We are one with the Lord to rescue many who are captured by Satan and bring them into His kingdom.

We do this by our prayer and by our daily turning to the Lord, giving Him more ground in our being.

We do not fight for victory but from victory; the victory has been won, the victorious Christ is in our spirit and we are in Him, and our fight is from victory and to perpetuate His victory!

May we see that the spiritual warfare today is between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan and may we cooperate with the Lord to bring in His kingdom on the earth!

Lord Jesus, thank You for rescuing us out of the authority of Satan and bringing us into the kingdom of God! Hallelujah, we believers in Christ are now in the kingdom of God and we stand with God on earth to defeat the enemy and cause him to suffer loss! Amen, Lord, may Your kingdom come and Your will be done. We stand with You on the earth to bring in the kingdom of God in us and around us. We stand with You as the church, one with our victorious Head, to perpetuate Your victory and bring in Your kingdom. Oh Lord, may Your light shine through us to so many who sit in the darkness to rescue them and bring them into Your kingdom! Expand Your kingdom in us. May Your kingdom increase in our being, in our living, and in everything related to us. Amen, Lord, may Your kingdom come and may Your will be done! We are one with You, Lord, to rescue many from Satan’s kingdom and bring them into Your kingdom! We are one with You on earth and we say, Your kingdom come today!

Having an Absolute Consecration to the Lord to Fight the Spiritual Warfare and Bring in the Kingdom

Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, [so] also on earth. Matt. 6:10

The kingdom of God does not come automatically; in order for the kingdom of God to come in, there is the need for spiritual fighting (Matt. 12:22-29).

In order for the kingdom of God to come in us and through us, we need to be actively engaged in spiritual warfare.

The responsibility of the church is to continue the victorious work that Christ has carried out against Satan (Heb. 2:14; 1 John 3:8b; Col. 2:15; Psa. 149:5-9).

He has overcome the evil one on the cross and through His living on earth; now this One is in us and we are one with Him to continue His victorious work.

Your people will offer themselves willingly / In the day of Your warfare, / In the splendor of [their] consecration... Psa. 110:3He defeated the devil on the cross and terminated everything negative thing; He conquered everything negative by the power of His resurrection.

He is now in ascension, far above all things, and we are seated with Him in the heavenlies (Eph. 2:6).

Based on this, we carry out His victory, we apply it, and we stand in His victory to reject the enemy’s attacks, bind him, and put him to shame.

The kingdom of God is the exercise of the divine will and the overthrowing of the power of Satan by the power of God (Matt. 6:10).

All things were created by God for His will (Rev. 4:11), and we as the church stand with Him today to exercise His will and carry out his will. Amen!

The eternal will of God is to have the church, the Body of Christ; we are here for God’s will, and we want His perfect will to be done.

We live for Christ and the church, and we voluntarily offer ourselves to the Lord, having an absolute consecration to the Lord for His kingdom to come and for the enemy to be cast out.

We need to know the will of God for ourselves personally and also the perfect will of God.

He does all things according to His will, and we do well to join ourselves to His will.

When the divine will is exercised, the power of Satan is cast out by the power of God.

The will of God is Christ and the church, and our living today is for this, for Christ to grow in us for the building up of the church. Hallelujah!

Whenever the devil has been cast out and wherever the work of the enemy has been displaced by God’s power, the kingdom of God is there. Hallelujah!

May we be those who offer ourselves willingly to Him in the day of His warfare, in the splendour of our consecration (Psa. 110:3).

May we just give ourselves to Him, having an absolute consecration to the Lord for Him to do what He wants to do today.

In ourselves we can do nothing, we are nothing, and we can accomplish nothing, but we can give ourselves to the Lord, offering ourselves willingly to Him today.

Today the Lord is in the day of His warfare, for He is fighting in His people to defeat the enemy, push him back, and cause him to suffer loss.

In a spiritual sense, we are now in the day of Christ’s warfare, and for Him we need to be a voluntary offering, a freewill offering (Lev. 22:18; Deut. 12:6).

As the Lord is fighting against the enemy, as we live in the day of His warfare, we offer ourselves willingly to Him by having an absolute consecration to the Lord.

Since therefore the children have shared in blood and flesh, He also Himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death He might destroy him who has the might of death, that is, the devil. Heb. 2:14 Stripping off the rulers and the authorities, He made a display [of them] openly, triumphing over them in it. Col. 2:15As we live at the consummation of this age and see how God sovereignly arranges the world situation to fulfil the prophecies concerning the time of His second coming, we need to have an absolute consecration to the Lord for His purpose.

For God it is easy to work out the outward situation and arrange major human events in order to obtain the signs that lead to His return; what is needed is our inward cooperation, our absolute consecration to the Lord for Him to gain the army fighting for Him on earth today.

In order for us to engage in spiritual warfare to defeat God’s enemy and bring in the kingdom of God, we need an absolute and thorough consecration to the Lord.

In God’s eyes, such a consecration is a matter of splendour.

As we live at the consummation of this age, may we offer ourselves willingly to the Lord for Him to drink and be satisfied and refreshed, and may we have an absolute consecration to the Lord in the day of His warfare.

What a splendour it is for God to have many consecrated ones, the Nazarites of today, those who offer themselves willingly to Him today!

And what an honour it is for us, the believers in Christ, to have an absolute consecration to the Lord, just giving ourselves to Him to bring in His kingdom today and defeat God’s enemy!

Lord Jesus, we stand one with You on earth to continue Your victorious work against Your enemy. We stand in Your victory today and we want to perpetuate Your victory over the enemy. Hallelujah, Christ has overcome the enemy, and He has destroyed the devil on the cross! Praise the Lord, in this One, Jesus Christ, the enemy has no ground and no opportunity in anything, but rather, Christ has destroyed the devil and his works! We stand one with You today, Lord, and we exercise our will to be one with Your will. May the power of Satan be overthrown by the power of God! May the enemy be cast out and his work be displaced by God’s power so that the kingdom of God would come in! Amen, Lord, we offer ourselves willingly to You today! Even as we live at the consummation of this age, we want to have an absolute consecration to the Lord in the day of His warfare. We are a voluntary offering to You, a freewill offering, for You to drink and be satisfied and refreshed! Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is Lord! Praise the Lord, Christ is victor!

At the beginning of the dispensation of the New Testament,…the Lord Jesus came forth to His ministry and declared, “Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” What the Lord meant was that before this it was the kingdom of earth, the kingdom of Satan, wherein Satan ruled, that held sway; but now it is the kingdom of the heavens, the kingdom of God, coming upon this earth to reign. Later, He taught the disciples to pray, “Let thy kingdom come.” The full accomplishment of this matter will be seen at the sound of the seventh trumpet in the future (Rev. 11:15). Then the kingdom of this world will become the kingdom of God and Christ. Thus, God’s kingdom will practically and completely come upon the earth. [Now] is the time for the people of God to fight for Him on the earth. From the time the Lord Jesus came forth to minister, until the time of His second coming, all the works that the people of God are doing for Him are instances of spiritual warfare. God’s desire is to rescue, through those who belong to Him, the people who were captured by Satan, and to recover the earth, which was usurped by Satan. This…is, according to what the Lord has shown us in Matthew 12, the warfare between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan.

We as the church today stand in the victory of Christ and pray to bring in the kingdom of God on the earth.

This involves spiritual warfare, for Satan has illegally occupied and usurped the earth and the air with all things in them.

May we voluntarily offer ourselves to the Lord today and be one with Him for His kingdom to come.

Amen, Lord, we want to have an absolute consecration to You today. We stand one with You for Your kingdom to come, Your will to be done, and Your enemy to be subdued and cast out!

We need to see that there are two kingdoms in this universe – the Kingdom of God which is eternal, of light and legal, versus the kingdom of Satan which is limited in time and space, of darkness and is illegal.

The church today has the responsibilitly to carry out the victorious work of Christ to defeat Satan’s kingdom that God’s name would be honoured, His Kingdom would be set up and His will done!

Lord, gain our absolute and thorough consecration for the coming of Your Kingdom through the church! Amen. Lord, we pray that Your Kingdom would come and Your will would be done on earth through the binding of Satan and our consecration.

Amen. It is through the church that God will bind satan and destroy his power.

God desires to rescue all who have been captured by satan, and recover the earth which has been usurped by satan.

To allow God to rescue us, we must choose the will of God, and flee from our worldly desires.

Lord, strengthen us into our inner man. Lord may we choose the will of God in all our situations. Thank you that you desire to rescue us out of darkness into the light of your kingdom.

It’s through the church that God will bind & destroy Satan’s power.

The works that we do on the Earth are examples of the spiritual warfare that’s taking place between two kingdoms.

We repented for the kingdom of God, to side with God instead of Satan.

We proclaim the same gospel of the kingdom to others.

They need to have a change of heart and turn to the side of God and join the fight against Satan by being baptised out of the satanic will and into the divine will.

Now is the time for those who have been predestinated to be rescued from the authority of darkness to fight for God upon the Earth.

Hallelujah! The church is the warrior-bride on Earth.

In the eyes of the Lord our willing consecration, our offering ourselves to Him, is a matter of splendor. Although the church has become degraded, throughout the centuries there has been a line of those who have offered themselves willingly to the Lord in the splendor, the beauty, of their consecration.

The word may also be translated adornment. The splendor of consecration is an adornment. If we offer ourselves willingly to the Lord, we will be beautified with a divine, heavenly splendor.

Psa. 110:3 footnote 2 on, splendor, Recovery Version Bible
