Praise the Lord, in one Spirit we were all baptised into one Body, and we were all given to drink of the one Spirit, and we are immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit!
May the Lord grant us a proper and uplifted view of our baptism for us to realise that we have been baptised into Christ, into Christ’s death, into the Triune God, and into the Body of Christ! Hallelujah!
This week we have been enjoying the matter of the likeness of the death and resurrection of Christ, and especially our growing in the likeness of the death and resurrection of Christ.
In Romans chapter 6 we see that we all who have been baptised into Christ Jesus have been baptised into His death. Through baptism, we’re immersed into Christ, taking Him as our realm, so that we may be united with Him as one in His death and resurrection.
We have been buried with Christ through baptism into his death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we might walk in newness of life.
We first were buried with Christ and then we die with Him; we don’t die directly but rather, we first are buried with Christ through baptism and then we die with Him.
We grow together with Christ in the likeness of His death through baptism, and we also grow together with Him in the likeness of His resurrection by walking in newness of life! Hallelujah!
Through baptism, we grow with Christ. How wonderful! We don’t just get immersed into water in order to join the church or to fulfil an outward ritual, but we are immersed into Christ to be organically joined to Him in His death and resurrection.
By baptism, we are grafted into Christ so that we may be cut off from the old source and be joined to the Lord as one spirit to grow together with Him. Hallelujah!
In this organic union with the Lord in spirit, all that we are in our natural man is slowly being discharged and removed, and all that Christ is and has accomplished is being added to us to be constituted into our being. Hallelujah!
Having grown together with Christ in the likeness of His death through baptism, we are now growing with Him in the likeness of His resurrection as we live and walk in newness of life! Praise the Lord!
We need to live daily in the reality of our baptism, even live a life of baptism, always being one with Christ in His death so that His resurrection life may be manifested through us.
When we are one with Christ in His death by remaining in our mingled spirit, the Spirit applies the death of Christ to our natural being and also resurrects us and lives in us to express Christ through us. Amen, may we walk in newness of life today!
When we Baptise People, we Immerse them into the Triune God as the All-inclusive Spirit
We need to see and appreciate the spiritual reality of baptism, and we need to bring the newly converted believers into a rich enjoyment and appreciation of their baptism when we baptise them.
We need to be saved from merely performing a ritual by baptising the repentant sinners into water, because this is what Jesus told us to do.
Yes, we need to baptise people, but we need to even more bring them into the reality of their baptism and into an appreciation of what baptism is.
When we preach the gospel, being one with the Lord to speak the word of the truth according to His economy for others to be saved, we have the Lord’s authority to go and disciple all the nations (Matt. 28:19-20).
We go to disciple the nations by baptising them into the Triune God. As soon as someone receives the Lord Jesus upon hearing the gospel, we need to speak to them concerning baptism.
We need to speak a rich word on the meaning of baptism so that they have the hearing of faith and earnestly desire to be baptised.
We need to tell the newly converted believers that we put them into the Triune God, into Christ (Gal. 3:27), into the death of Christ (Rom. 6:3), and into the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:13).
We need to exercise our whole being in order to have a proper understanding of what baptism is, and we need to speak a rich word to others in order to bring them into a rich appreciation of what baptism is.
Through baptism, we baptise people into the divine name (the Father, the Son, and the Spirit), a living person (Christ Himself), an effective death (the death of Christ), and a living organism (the Body of Christ).
By exercising our spirit as we are baptised, we enter into the reality of our baptism, and we are brought into a position where we can experience an organic union with Christ. Hallelujah!
When we preach the gospel and some believe into the Lord Jesus, for Christ infuses Himself into them as their faith, we need to help them to appreciate the Lord Jesus and be baptised.
We need to speak a rich word concerning the spiritual reality of baptism, being conscious that through baptism we bring the new ones into an organic union with the Lord in spirit, when they exercise their spirit.
Then, as we baptise the newly saved believers, we should exercise our faith to realise that we’re not only baptising them into the water but into a spiritual reality! Amen, as we immerse them into the water, we immerse them into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit!
When someone is baptised, having an understanding of what baptism is and exercising their spirit to call on the name of the Lord, they enter into an organic union with God, and this is able to transform their whole being. Hallelujah!
Baptism is something outward that has a rich spiritual reality; we should not merely baptise others outwardly as a practice or ritual but rather, bring the repentant believers into a rich appreciation of the spiritual reality of baptism.
Hallelujah, by means of our organic union with the Triune God, we are one with the Triune God, and He is one with us!
We need to be filled with a proper appreciation of the spiritual reality of our baptism, and we need to bring others also into this appreciation and enjoyment. If we do this, both us and those whom we baptise grow together with Christ, first in the reality of His death and then in the reality of His resurrection!
Once we grow with Christ in the reality of His death through baptism, we will eagerly live and walk in newness of life, for we are full of appreciation for and enjoyment of God in Christ as the all-inclusive Spirit!
Oh, may we see that through baptism we are immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit, and may we remain here, in the Spirit, enjoying the Spirit as our bountiful supply!
Lord Jesus, unveil us to see the spiritual reality of baptism. Bring us into a proper appreciation of what happens in the spiritual realm when we’re baptised. Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit and even our whole being to remain in the organic union with You so that we may grow together with You! Hallelujah, we have been baptised into the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Praise the Lord, we have been baptised into Christ, into the death of Christ, and into the Body of Christ! Hallelujah, our baptism is into the divine name, a living person, an effective death, and a living organism! Amen, Lord, may we see that our baptism puts us as believers in Christ into a position where we can experience an organic union with Christ! May we realise this and may we speak a rich word concerning baptism to those who have been saved so that they would richly enjoy the reality of their baptism and enter into an organic union with the Triune God! Hallelujah, through baptism we are immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit!
Through Baptism we’re Immersed into Christ as the Spirit, we Put on Christ, and we Drink the Spirit!
Galatians 3:27 tells us that through baptism we have put on Christ. On the one hand, we are baptised into Christ, being immersed into Christ as the Spirit. On the other hand, we have put on Christ, putting Christ on as our garment.
Through baptism, we are immersed into Christ and we put on Christ. We are put in Christ and we put on Christ.
How can we be immersed into Christ? It is only by Him being the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45 tells us that Christ as the last Adam, became a life-giving Spirit, and 2 Corinthians 3:17 further says that today the Lord is the Spirit.
God in Christ went through a process so that He may become the Spirit, the life-giving Spirit, so that He can be everywhere, available to us at all times. If Christ were not the life-giving Spirit, there would be no way for us to be baptised into Christ or to enter into an organic union with Him.
If Christ were not the life-giving Spirit, He could not come into us and we cannot enter into Him.
The key to us enjoying, experiencing, and expressing Christ is Him being the Spirit. Unless we exercise our spirit to touch and enjoy the life-giving Spirit, we cannot enter into the reality of our baptism.
We cannot be baptised into a Christ who is only in the heavens, or into a Christ who is in the flesh; only in Christ as the Spirit can we be baptised today.
This is why 1 Corinthians 12:13 tells us that in one Spirit we were baptised into one Body. Yes, we are baptised in the water, but it is in one Spirit that we are baptised into one Body, and we were all given to drink one Spirit.
When a person is baptised, he is immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit, and he puts on Christ.
Furthermore, he is immersed into the Spirit as the reality of the Triune God, and he is given to drink the Spirit. The reality is the Spirit; the reality of our baptism is the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit.
God doesn’t want us to just do things for Him or even to perform a ritual to show our commitment to Him, that is, to be baptised into water.
He wants to work Himself into us in every possible way, and He wants us to remain in the organic union with Him so that we may grow with Christ in the likeness of His death and resurrection.
Regeneration is the first step in our entering into the organic union with the Lord, and baptism is the continuation or deepening of this organic union. As we exercise our spirit and are baptised, we are brought into an organic union with the Lord, and we are immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit.
We are baptised into one Spirit in one Body, and we are given to drink the one Spirit. Thank the Lord that, on His side, He has gone through a process to become the all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit!
On our side, we simply need to enter into Him through faith and baptism, and we need to be immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit. Then, we need to drink the Spirit!
May this be our daily living today. May we remain in the mingled spirit, contacting the Lord as the Spirit and being one spirit with the Lord. May we put on Christ to wear Him as our garment.
May we remain in the organic union with God in spirit, realising that Christ as the life-giving Spirit, is in our spirit, even mingled with our spirit.
Whenever we turn to our spirit, when we call on the name of the Lord to contact Him, we touch the Lord as the Spirit, and we are further immersed into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit. Then, we drink the Spirit.
The Spirit is within and without; we are immersed into the Spirit and the Spirit is in us. And we are in the Body. Oh, what a wonderful reality this is!
Lord Jesus, thank You for immersing us into the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit through our baptism! Hallelujah, Christ went through a process to become the life-giving Spirit into whom we can be baptised today! Praise the Lord, we are not merely baptised in water but even more, we’re baptised into Christ who is the Spirit today! Amen, Lord, may we see that we were baptised in one Spirit into one Body, and we were all given to drink one Spirit! We come to You today, Lord, to just enjoy You. We come to drink the Spirit. Keep us immersed in You and keep us drinking You as the Spirit! Amen, Lord, keep us in our spirit today! May we remain in our spirit, exercising our spirit to touch You, drink You, be immersed into You, and be filled with You! Oh Lord, may we daily grow in life with Christ until we are full-grown in Christ, functioning in our measure in the Body for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ!

Dear brother, through baptism we are put into Christ, we put on Christ, and we are immersed into Christ as the Spirit!
Hallelujah, it is as the Spirit that we can enjoy and experience Christ as the reality of our baptism! In one Spirit we were all baptised into one Body, and we were all given to drink one Spirit!
Hallelujah!
Through baptism, we have been immersed into Christ and clothed with Christ.
We are one with the Triune God and the Triune God is one with us, all baptised by one Spirit into one body.
1 Cor. 12:13, footnote 5 on, drink the Spirit, Recovery Version Bible
When we baptise people, we should give them a rich & living message on the meaning of baptism. We do not merely baptise people into water but into a spiritual reality.
A person who is baptised enters into an organic union which is able to transform his whole being.
We put on Christ and are immersed into Him as the Spirit.
May we tell people who are about to be baptised that they are being immersed into the reality of the divine person of Jesus.
What could be finer than to put on Christ Himself as our garment & covering?
In a proper, genuine, and living way, baptism puts the believers into the name of the Triune God as the all-inclusive Spirit, the divine name (Matt. 28:19); into Christ, a living person (Gal. 3:27); into the death of Christ, an effective death (Rom. 6:3); and into the Body of Christ, a living organism (1 Cor. 12:13), that the believers may enter into an organic union not only with Christ but also with His Body. Such an organic union is able to transform our whole being.
Much more, as the Life-giving Spirit, the all-inclusive processed Triune God, we’re baptised in one Spirit into one Body as the reality of this divine person. We become one with Christ! What a divine fact and provision for us to experience as His believers and to enjoy as our daily reality! Hallelujah, in such a baptism, we’re not immersed into Christ, we automatically put on Christ as our clothing, and He, our covering!
Amen brother!
May we take Christ as our garment and keep us living in His divine person!
Amen brother 🙌
