The new man as the masterpiece of God was created through Christ’s death and in His resurrection; in His flesh Christ terminated all negative things and in Himself He created the Jews and the Gentiles into one new man. Hallelujah!
The Bible tells us that God has a particular intention in His creation of man; He created man in a very specific way, unlike the other animals, which were created in their own kind.
Man was created in the image of God and according to His likeness so that man would express God with His image and represent Him with His dominion.
Adam, our forefather, was created in God’s image and according to His likeness, and God gave him dominion over all the animals and things on the earth.
However, Adam was deceived by God’s enemy, Satan, and fell; so Christ had to come as God incarnated as a man to fulfil God’s intention in creating man.
Christ came as the God-man, God incarnated, and He fulfilled individually the intention of God in His creation. He expressed God wherever He went, and He represented God with His dominion.
He manifested and expressed God and at the same time, He brought in the kingdom of God and displaced Satan’s kingdom.
Then, Christ went through death and entered into resurrection, and in resurrection He became the life-giving Spirit to come into all those who believe into Him to make them members of His Body.
Now Christ as the Head and we as His Body are the one new man, created by Christ through His death and in His resurrection, and this one new man in reality fulfils God’s intention in creating man in this age.
In the next age, the overcomers will fulfil God’s intention in creating man, for they will express God with His image and also represent Him with His dominion, reigning as the many co-kings of Christ.
For eternity, the New Jerusalem will express God and represent God, for God’s image will be expressed through the New Jerusalem, and the holy city will be the centre of His government in the new heaven and new earth. Hallelujah!
We need to see what the new man is, how did the new man come into being, and how we can practically enter into the reality of the new man in our daily life.
May the Lord enlighten us and remove any veils from our eyes so that we may see the creation of the new man through Christ’s death and in His resurrection.
Through His Death in His Flesh Christ Terminated All the Negative Things in the Universe
In Eph. 2:15 there are two specific phrases: in His flesh and in Himself. Christ abolished in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances so that He might create the two in Himself into one new man.
On the negative side, Christ abolished the law of the commandments in ordinances in His flesh; however, He did not create the new man in His flesh. The negative things were all terminated in Christ’s flesh, whereas the new man – which is positive – was germinated in Christ Himself.
We need to realize that we all were included in Christ, in His flesh, when He was crucified on the cross. We were in His flesh, and when He was crucified, we also were crucified with Him (Gal. 2:20).
In His flesh, Christ terminated all the negative things in the universe through the cross.
He terminated Satan, the enemy of God (Heb. 2:14), sin (Rom. 8:3; John 1:29), the flesh of the fallen man (Gal. 5:24), the world, the cosmos, the evil system of Satan (John 12:31), the old creation represented by the old man (Rom. 6:6), and the separating ordinances of the law (Eph. 2:15).
Every negative thing in the universe was terminated by Christ in His flesh on the cross.
Satan was destroyed, sin was judged, the flesh was finished, the world was terminated, the old man was crucified, and the ordinances of the law were abolished in the flesh of Christ on the cross.
We need to prayerfully consider all these verses to be impressed with the fact that there was a very important work that took place in the crucifixion of Christ in His flesh on the cross.
Satan, the devil, who has the might of death, was destroyed on the cross of Christ. When he comes to us, we need to remind him of Christ’s work on the cross.
The world was judged on the cross; when the world entices us and tries to lure us away from the Lord and from the church life, we need to exercise our spirit and tell the world that we are crucified to the world and the world is dead to us.
Our flesh, our old man, and everything negative were terminated on the cross.
Even more, the ordinances were abolished in His flesh on the cross. We may think that our ordinances, our ways of living, worship, and doing things, are good, for they are not sinful; however, they separate us from one another and cause division and separation in the Body of Christ.
Christ abolished in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances. We need the Lord to shine on our ordinances.
We may think that we in the church life are free from the religious ordinances in organised Christianity, but when we go to blend with another locality or some come to visit us, we realise that we do things in a certain way while others do things differently.
We may practice the way of having home meetings in a particular way, but others may practice it in a different way.
All these seem good to us, especially our own ordinances, but if they separate us and make us divide ourselves from others, they are ordinances, and we need to apply the cross to all of these.
What most frustrates God from gaining the new man is ordinances. He wants to gain the practical expression of the one new man, but there is something that frustrates this the most; it is not sin, the world, or the flesh, but the ordinances.
We need the Lord’s shining on this matter. The reason we have not yet entered into the full realisation and experience of the church as the one new man is that we still hold on to our ordinances and we have not allowed the Lord to abolish them in us and among us.
May we realise that Christ in His flesh on the cross terminated all things, including the ordinances and even ourselves, having slain the enmity between people by the cross. Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord, in His flesh Christ terminated all the negative things in the universe! Hallelujah, Satan, the devil, the enemy of God, has been destroyed by Christ on the cross! Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your devil-destroying death on the cross. Praise You for not only taking away the sin of the world but even more, terminating sin on the cross! Thank You for crucifying the flesh on the cross to terminate it. Hallelujah, the world has been crucified on the cross and the evil system of Satan has been judged and terminated! Amen, Lord, thank You for terminating the old man, the old creation represented by the old man, through the cross. Hallelujah, Christ abolished in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances. Oh Lord, we open to You. Terminate everything negative in us through Your cross. May we remain one with You on the cross so that You may have a way to terminate and judge Satan, sin, the world, and everything negative in us!
In Himself, Christ Created the Jews and the Gentiles into One New Man in Resurrection
On the negative side, Christ terminated all the negative things in His flesh on the cross; on the positive side, He created the two – the Jews and the Gentiles – in Himself into one new man, so making peace (Eph. 2:15-16).
In Himself as the sphere, element, and essence, Christ created the Jews and the Gentiles into one new man.
First, we were in Christ’s flesh, and both we and all the negative things were terminated through the cross and on the cross.
Then, we were raised with Him and we were germinated with His life and nature to be created as part of the one new man in His resurrection.
Christ’s death brought Him into resurrection; now in His resurrection He is no longer in the flesh but He is the wonderful Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45; 2 Cor. 3:17).
On the negative side, our old man and our old nature were crucified with Christ in His flesh, and all ordinances related to our fallen nature were slain.
On the positive side, in Christ’s resurrection and in His wonderful Spirit, we were created into one new man. How marvellous!
It is very significant that the new man was created in Christ, in Himself. Christ was not only the Creator of the new man, the church, but also the sphere in which this new man was created, and also the essence of the new man.
Christ is everything in the new man – He is all and in all, the very element, essence, and person of the new man (Col. 3:10-11).
When Christ was resurrected, He created the two – the Jews and the Gentiles – into one new man.
Outwardly, there’s no way for the Jews and the Gentiles to be one, for they each have a different way of living and worship. But in Christ, we were created into one new man.
Religion separates people, but in Christ we are made one. Christ on the cross eliminated all the differences and created the two peoples in Himself into one new man.
Christ is now the essence of the one new man. The one new man is the highest aspect of the church. The church has many aspects, one of which is the one new man; this aspect is the highest.
The church is the assembly, which relates to the association of assembly of the people of God. The church is the called out ones and the household of God; we are the family of God, which is a closer relationship than an association.
The church is also the Body of Christ; this relationship is even closer, for we are members one of another, and Christ is our life.
The church is also the one new man, which means that Christ is our person, for He is all and in all.
Christ is the very element and essence of the one new man, making God’s divine nature one entity with humanity (Col. 3:10-11).
Christ is all and in all. We may understand this as Christ being in me and Christ being in you, but it is much more than this.
Christ is all the persons in the new man and He is in all the persons of the new man. We are becoming Christ and He is becoming us; together, we are the new man.
All the obstacles are removed, and we are now the one new man!
May we see that Christ created the new man in Himself. He wrought the divine nature into the human nature, and He dispensed the divine life into the human life.
In the old creation, God didn’t work His nature or life into any of His creatures, but in the new creation, God’s life and nature were wrought into man.
This means that right now on earth there’s an entity that has God’s life and nature, and God is gaining the new man, which has Christ as his person.
This terrifies the enemy. The enemy with all his demonic powers tries to keep Christians from seeing the fact of the creation of the new man.
May we pray for a clear and sober mind to perceive that we not only have been terminated on the cross but even more, by means of this termination, we have been transferred into Christ!
Now we are in Christ, in Himself, and He created the one new man in Himself to obtain His corporate expression and representation on the earth.
Apart from being in Christ, we cannot be created into the new man. In ourselves, we do not have the divine life and nature, so we cannot be the new man.
Only in the divine essence and with the divine essence can we be created as the one new man; this is possible only in Christ. Hallelujah, we are in Christ, Christ is in us, He is our life and person, and we are the one new man!
Lord Jesus, thank You for creating us as the one new man in Yourself in Your resurrection! Hallelujah, through Christ’s death on the cross He terminated all the negative things, and in His resurrection in Himself He created the one new man! Amen, Lord, everything that is negative has been terminated and judged in Your flesh on the cross, and we were created into one new man in Yourself! Hallelujah! Lord, grant us to have a clear and sober mind to perceive that not only have we been terminated on the cross but we also have been transferred into Christ! Hallelujah, we are now in Christ, and with Christ as the sphere and element, we are the one new man! Praise the Lord, in the church as the one new man there is no Jew nor Greek but Christ is all and in all! May we see this, Lord, and may we take Christ as our life and person for the one new man! Hallelujah, in Christ we were created to be the one new man, and there’s no more enmity, division, or separation – in Christ we are one!

Eph. 2:15, footnote 6 on, in Himself, Recovery Version Bible
We need to see that Christ in His flesh terminated all the negative things in the universe, and He created the one new man in Himself.
We have been crucified with Christ and everything negative has been terminated on the cross.
We were germinated with His life to be the new man, and all the ordinance have been abolished.
We are a new creation in Christ, the old things have passed away!
Brother, we need to forget the things behind, everything of the old creation, put off the old man and put on the new man!
Amen praise the Lord for the one new man which was created in Him on the cross,
He is the essence and element of the one new man.
Through resurrection Christ put us into himself and with His divine essence created the one new man.
Demonic powers will try to keep us from knowing this fact.
May we see clearly that we have been transferred to Christ, He has terminated all negative things of the old creation.
Amen, brother !
Christ created the one new man (something new from the fallen human nature), the church, by working God’s divine nature into humanity. Hallelujah!
But, the demonic powers (terrified by this) try to keep Christians from seeing the fact of the creation of the one new man. Hence, we must fight the battle for this truth.
Lord, we pray for a clear and sober mind to see that:
Defeat Ur enemy in/thru us, Ur church, Lord!
Amen. Lord, grant us a clear and sober mind to see that we have been terminated in His flesh on the cross and germinated in Himself as the wonderful Spirit in resurrection to be part of the one man!
Amen! The new man was created through Christ’s death and in His resurrection.
Christ is the very element & essence of the one new man, making God’s divine nature one entity with humanity.
May we continue to cooperate with Christ’s working of His divine nature into our humanity, and may we see that it’s God’s desire for the church to be the one new man on the Earth now.
