this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony!

this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony!I am so encouraged with what the Lord is doing today! On the one hand we have the high peak truth and the high gospel – the complete gospel as revealed in the whole New Testament – and on the other hand we have a way to enjoy the Lord, practice the church life, build up the Body, and become the Bride of Christ!

In His recovery the Lord is continually speaking – conference after conference, training after training, meeting after meeting, and even morning after morning as we spend time with Him.

Our speaking God is a moving God – He speaks to us and He moves in us, taking us on and eventually becoming, together with us, the New Jerusalem!

The focus of the Lord’s recovery

Recently there was a lot of speaking and burden on the matter of The Focus of the Lord’s Recovery (see here more), which is nothing else but the corporate expression of the Triune God. What is the Lord’s recovery focusing on?

We are focusing on the Lord’s desire to obtain a corporate expression for the Triune God in humanity. Practically, we see this in the many local churches everywhere around the globe. Recently there was the resumption of the Lord’s table meeting in Manchester, UK – the Lord recovered the oneness and the proper ground in Manchester!

Praise the Lord for all the local churches!

The gospel of the kingdom

Matt 24:14 says, This gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole inhabited earth for a testimony, and then the end will come. Today as kingdom people with the divine life in us, we the saints in the church life are in the reality of the kingdom!

The Lord is gaining a lampstand to stand and shine and express Him! He does so in city after city – and He does it by us preaching the gospel of the kingdom! When the gospel of the kingdom is preached, there is a testimony to all – for all to see the corporate expression of the Triune God!

God became a man, lived a perfect human life on earth, died on the cross to deal with all the negative things in the universe, and He became the life-giving Spirit to impart and breathe Himself into man! Now we as believers have another source – the divine life – and we live by another life, having another way of living! We live by the divine life and we practically live the church life in the local church where the Lord has placed us!

Don’t wait for a persecution to come

On the one hand we enjoy the Lord in His Word and in the the rich ministry which opens up the Word, but on the other hand we are all commissioned to preach the gospel of the kingdom! In the beginning of the church life in Jerusalem the disciples grew and multiplied, but not many went out of Jerusalem.

So the Lord sent a persecution (Acts 8:1) – and many of the believers were scattered everywhere, and wherever they went they preached the gospel! Wherever we go, wherever the Lord sends us, we preach the high gospel!

Don’t wait for a persecution to come – go before the Lord and be open to Him as to where He wants to send you! He may send you right where you are so that you may live by the divine life and speak the gospel of the kingdom, but He may also want to send you to a place where there’s no church life!

And then it all starts with a lot of prayer, a lot of consideration, a lot of fellowship, and the Lord accompanies you wherever you go! Just be open to Him and do not be set, settled, and occupied – we need to be sendable by the Lord!

Having a heart to go out

In Romans 10 right after Paul brings us to call on the name of the Lord he mentions, how beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news. Our calling with our mouth to receive the Lord and be saved in His life is empowering us and even sending us to go and speak the gospel!

We call on the name of the Lord and we exercise our feet to go! I was touched by the Lord about this – God has prepared some who are ready, ripe, and willing to receive Him and enjoy the gospel of the kingdom – but I need to be open to Him to be sent by Him!

As I am exercising my spirit to touch the Lord, He will bring me into contact with other thirsty ones that He may reach out to them and fill them! Christ is the desire of the nations – the all-inclusive Christ is what all the nations desire and yearn to know, possess, and enjoy.

We just need to be open to the Lord and have a heart to go out! We need to rise up, bring this to the Lord, and allow Him to shine on us – Lord, am I set? Lord, am I occupied and busy? Lord, here I am, send me (Isa. 6:8)!

[sharing inspired from the recent fellowship given in both the Thanksgiving Conference and in the resumption of the Lord’s Table Meeting in Manchester, UK, concerning the focus of the Lord’s recovery being to obtain the corporate expression of the Triune God.]

A song, based on the statement above, which is the burden! Hope you may enjoy.
tune: Lord, We Thank Thee For The Table/221 http://www.hymnal.net/hymn.php/h/221
(tune: Lo, The Holy Table)

Lord Jesus, save us from being–
Set, settled, and occupied!
May we come to You so open,
Unveiled, see Your heart's desire–
To reach out to man and save man.
"Sendable" people, we would be!
Those ready to go preach the gospel!
Not waiting for persecutions.

Burd'n us with the gospel!
Lord, and may this gospel–
Of the kingdom be preached in the–
Whole inhabit'd earth!
