The Triune God is Dispensing Himself into His People to gain His Corporate Expression

When the glory of God filled the tabernacle and the cloud descended upon the tent of meeting in Exo. 40, God has finally obtained a dwelling place on earth among His people for His corporate expression; the Triune God is dispensing Himself into His people to make them His corporate expression, His house, His dwelling place.

The tabernacle is a type of Christ, who is the Word of God incarnated to bring God into man and cause God to tabernacle among man, expressing His glory and manifesting His virtues (John 1:14).

The Triune God was embodied in Christ as the tabernacle for the purpose of having a way to dispense Himself into His people. Christ came not only to redeem us; He came to open a way for God to dispense all the riches of His being into us.

For this, God became a man, passed through death and resurrection, and became a life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 14:45); now God in Christ is the Spirit who gives life, and He is dispensing Himself into His redeemed people for the enjoyment of all the riches of His being.

The entire tabernacle with its furnishings, offerings, and services with serving ones show us that God desires to dispense Himself into His people; for this, He has ordained the offerings to enable man to come forward to God, and these offerings are also man’s food and God’s food for their mutual enjoyment.

In order for God to dispense Himself into His people, He ordained the altar of bronze where our sins are dealt with and the laver of bronze where we are washed and cleansed in order for us to enter into the tabernacle, into God’s presence.

In order for God to dispense Himself into His people, He has ordained the table of the bread of the presence – where His people eat God as bread and rejoice in His presence, the lampstand – where His people enjoy God’s shining and His expression, and the incense altar – where man becomes one with God to offer Christ as the incense to God for His move on earth.

Through the processes He went through and by means of the arrangement in the tabernacle with the offerings and the services of the priests, God has provided a way for His people to come forward to Himself and receive His dispensing so that they would become His corporate expression, His dwelling place on earth.

The Triune God is Dispensing Himself into His People to gain His Corporate Expression

How does God obtain His dwelling place, the desire of His heart? It is by His dispensing. How does God dispense Himself into man to obtain His dwelling place? It is by means of His Divine Trinity. Everything that is mentioned in the New Testament concerning God is related to the divine dispensing for the divine economy (see Rom. 8:3, 11; Eph. 1:3-23).

The theologians, Bible teachers, preachers, pastors, ministers, and professors of theology have systematized the Triune God and came up with a complicated and complicating doctrine concerning the Divine Trinity, but whenever the Bible speaks of the Triune God, it is for His dispensing into man.

We need to have a turn from systematizing everything related to God into a doctrine – a turn to God Himself to receive His divine dispensing.

In concluding his second epistle to the Corinthians, Paul blessed them with the Triune God dispensing Himself into them for their enjoyment, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all (2 Cor. 13:14).

This is not a benediction at the end of a sermon or service but the way God carries out His economy in and with His people:

The love of God is the source, since God is the origin; the grace of the Lord is the course of the love of God, since the Lord is the expression of God; and the fellowship of the Spirit is the impartation of the grace of the Lord with the love of God, since the Spirit is the transmission of the Lord with God, for our experience and enjoyment of the Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, with Their divine virtues. Second Corinthians 13:14 is strong proof that the trinity of the Godhead is not for the doctrinal understanding of systematic theology but for the dispensing of God Himself in His Trinity into His chosen and redeemed people. In the Bible the Trinity is never revealed merely as a doctrine. It is always revealed or mentioned in regard to the relationship of God with His creatures, especially with man, who was created by Him, and more particularly with His chosen and redeemed people. There are many matters in the New Testament, and there are many places where we see the Triune God being spoken of, and in every single case it is related to man and how God dispenses Himself into man.

God has an economy, a universal operation, which is to patiently and constantly dispense Himself into all His chosen people so that they may become His corporate expression, His dwelling place on earth.

As believers in Christ we are daily under God’s dispensing of Himself into our being – we simply need to receive this marvelous, unlimited, unsearchable, and untraceably rich Christ by spending time with the Lord and listening to His speaking to us in His word and the meetings.

God’s intention in His economy is to just dispense Himself in His Divine Trinity – the Father, the Son, and the Spirit – into His chosen people.

This is what God wants, this is what He is doing today, and this is what will produce the dwelling place of God, the church as the Body of Christ.

Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see that the Triune God is not for doctrinal understanding but for the dispensing of God in His Divine Trinity into us, His chosen and redeemed people, for our experience and enjoyment. Turn us, Lord, from systematizing the Triune God in a doctrine to enjoying the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity! Amen, Lord, dispense Yourself into us a little more today! Keep us open to Your dispensing of Your riches into our being to produce us as the church, the house of God, the dwelling place of God!

The Divine Trinity is for the Divine Dispensing, the Distribution of God into us

According to the entire revelation of the Bible, the Divine Trinity is for God’s dispensing, that is, for the distribution of God into us, His chosen people. What God desires in a strong way is to dispense Himself into us, His chosen people, to be our life, our life supply, and our everything.

In order for God to be able to dispense Himself into us, He has to be Triune: the Father is the origin, the fountain, the Son is the expression, the spring, and the Spirit is the transmission, the flow.

We see this in John 4:14, where the Lord said that, Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall by no means thirst forever, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life.

In other words, we as believers in Christ come to the Lord as the thirsty ones, and He gives us to drink; the water He gives us to drink springs up from our inner being and flows out as rivers of living water into eternal life. Wow!

When we drink the Lord as the living water, the Father Himself becomes the fountain of life in our being (Jer. 2:13), Christ is the spring of water gushing up in us (John 4:14), and the Spirit is the flow, the river of water of life flowing out of our innermost being (Rev. 22:1). Wow, Hallelujah!

The Father is the source, the Son is the course, and the Spirit is the flowing river. By means of His Divine Trinity God dispenses Himself into us and becomes in us the flowing rivers of water of life to water others and flow into the New Jerusalem, the totality of the eternal life! Amen!

The Divine Trinity is for the divine dispensing, that is, for the distribution of God into the believers in Christ.

Praise the Father who is the fountain! Hallelujah to Christ as the spring! Amen to the Spirit as the flow!

This is not something for us merely to mentally understand and be able to speak to others: this is for us to enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity!

When we exercise our spirit to touch the Lord and drink Him, there’s a fountain of living water installed in our being: the Triune God flows in us as the Father (the source), the Son (the course, the spring), and the Spirit (the river flowing).

The more we enjoy God’s dispensing, the more expression of God there is, and the more glory to God there is. This is the way God gains His building: by dispensing Himself into us day by day in His Divine Trinity!

Thank You Lord for being Triune for the purpose of dispensing Yourself into us. Amen, Hallelujah, our God is Triune for the distribution of God into all the believers in Christ to make them His corporate expression! Praise the Lord! Thank You Triune God for being processed to become the life-giving Spirit for us to drink and enjoy in the divine dispensing! Lord, keep us in the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity today, constantly receiving and enjoying all the riches of the Triune God for the building up of the church!
