I am so grateful to the Lord for the ministry of the age who unveils to us the mysteries in the Bible in the way of life, unlocking all God’s riches in the Word! I have never thought that Luke 15 is connected with Eph. 2:18 and these two speak of the New Jerusalem(at least in miniature)!
The Bible clearly says in Eph. 2:18 that we have access unto the Father through Christ in one Spirit. Also, in Revelation 21 we see the New Jerusalem, the ultimate consummation of God’s work in man – and this golden city which expresses God has twelve gates: three on each of its four sides. There are three entrances on four sides – reaching out to every part of the earth.
Wherever you are, whomever you are, in whatever condition or country you are, the Triune God as the triune entrance into the New Jerusalem is open and ready to bring you in! In the whole New Testament we clearly see that the Triune God is our entrance into Himself – and this is the entrance into the kingdom of God which consummates in the New Jerusalem!
How is it that the Triune God is our triune entrance into the New Jerusalem? First of all, the Lord Jesus as the second of the Divine Trinity came to seek us outwardly and He laid the foundation to open up the gate into God – by dying on the cross for us and accomplishing redemption for us.
Then the Spirit, based on Christ’s redemption, comes to search us inwardly – due to the Spirit’s inner searching, with the word of God shining in us and the Spirit sweeping in us, we repented and came to our senses.
Through the searching of the Spirit, we woke up, repented, and came back to the Father – who was waiting to receive us into His house to enjoy Him and to enjoy His rich inheritance. In this way, the Triune God in His Divine Trinity is our triune entrance into God!
As we see in Ephesians, we were once sinners who were far away from the Father, from the commonwealth of Israel, from God’s interest, and from the kingdom of God (Eph. 2:12)… But Praise the Lord – Christ came as the Son to be our channel and through this channel we get into the Spirit, and the Spirit brings us unto the Father! Through Christ we have access in one Spirit into the Father!
The three persons of the Godhead are the three gates which form one complete entrance into the Triune God! When we call on the name of the Lord, in the Spirit through the Son we have access unto the Father – we are brought into the Triune God!
The New Jerusalem is God mingled with man, God in man and man in God, the consummation of the union, mingling, and incorporation of God and man. For us to enter into the New Jerusalem, the Divine Trinity comes to us as the redeeming Son, the searching Spirit, and the waiting Father!
These gates are not “static”, waiting for us to come and go through them: rather, these are gates that come to the sinner, reaching out to the sinner, and bringing the repenting sinner into God! These gates are redeeming us, they are searching us within, and they are running to embrace us!
This is our wonderful Triune God who, in His Divine Trinity, is the triune entrance for man to enter into God! No one can enter into God without the inspiration of the Spirit and without the redemption of the Son; rather, the Son is the channel, the Spirit is the sphere, and the Father is the very destination!

Wow, what a triune entrance we have into the Triune God! Unveil us to see this, Lord! Unveil us to see the rich triune entrance into the New Jerusalem – the Triune God reaching man to bring man into God! Praise You for this wonderful economy and plan, to bring man fully into God and make man and God one eternally! We now have access unto the Father through the Son and in the Spirit! Lord, continue bringing us more out of ourselves and out of anything else – into the Triune God! Do this until we become the New Jerusalem!
love God's words. No human thought could figure it out. The Triune God is the entrance, He is the door. He brings us out of our self into Christ, our all-sufficient land, flowing with milk and honey. We enter by allowing Him to enter into us so that we consummate as the New Jerusalem.
