Regardless of my Feelings, Each Morning I say, Lord Jesus, I Love You!

July 27, 2017 by Guest God-man Blogger Leave a Comment

Morning revival is to be drawn into the intimate fellowship in the chambers of the Lord, and be glad and rejoice in Him.My first words each morning are, Lord Jesus, I love You! regardless of my feelings. Then, I pray read the verses and read the portion in the morning revival.

Then, I pray in a general way – and also in some specific ways.

One day of the week’s Morning Revival always stands out strongly, so I do some further reading on that day’s topic, and soak up that particular day in the morning revival.

I must pray like Paul did in Ephesians, that “utterance may be given to me”. Then I come with the faith that God will give me the utterance to prophesy in the meetings.

If were faithful to labour and pray day by day, getting saturated with at least one of the days in the morning revival, we will see something, and our prophesying is our describing of what we have seen.

Apart from all the above practical aspects of Morning Revival, our main aim in the morning time is to touch the Lord and give Him the first place. That’s why I tell the Lord that I love Him before anything else in the morning.

The best picture of having a morning time with the Lord is rising up early to eat the appointed portion of manna. We want to touch Him in spirit – this is to eat Him as food!

I believe that there shouldn’t be a “legal” way of doing the “morning revival”; rather, every saint has to find his way of approach towards having a time with the Lord in the morning.

Finally, Song of Songs 1:4 says, “Draw me”; this can be considered as the prayer of the seeker. The answer is, “The king has brought me into his chambers, we will be glad and rejoice in You”. This sums up our morning revival time with the Lord. I hope you can see what I mean.

Morning revival is to be drawn into the intimate fellowship in the chambers of the Lord, and be glad and rejoice in Him.

I really think this is a wonderful spiritual picture of a living morning revival. Just having an intimate fellowship with the Lord in His glorious truth.

Sharing by bro. Michael W (Brisbane, Australia), from his experience of having a morning time with the Lord.
