Being Produced by God to be His Overcomers to Accomplish His Eternal Economy Today

In these last days before the Lord’s return, as we see how many believers are held back from fully experiencing Christ because of their imperfect and unscriptural theology, we need to give ourselves to the Lord to be produced as His overcomers to accomplish His eternal economy.

Our God is a moving God, and in this age He moves among His people; He is no longer the physical Christ in the flesh but now He’s the Spirit, and as the Spirit He leads us, moves among us, speaks to us, guides us, and is one with us to do everything in us and for us for God to have a move on earth.

We need to know, enjoy, and experience all the wonderful aspects of the Spirit as revealed in the Bible, realizing that the Spirit is intimately related to God’s move.

If we want to cooperate with the Lord for Him to carry out His move in His economy, we need to know this age, in particular, we need to know the age of today’s Christianity – in relation to the revelation in the Scriptures, the divine truths, and the genuine and proper theology.

We need to know the age we live in, pay attention to the world situation, and be one with the Lord in His move on earth today.

Just as the birds know the times and seasons, and therefore move to certain places or do certain things, we need to look to the Lord and let His light shine on us that we may know this age and be filled with the complete and up-to-date present truth, so that we may speak it, experience it, live it, and become it.

There are five critical points concerning the Spirit of God in the move of God’s eternal economy which we should know and adequately stress:

1. The Spirit who was not yet before Christ’s glorification, His resurrection (see John 7:37-39). This shows us the process that Christ went through to become the Spirit who gives life, the Spirit who can indwell us and give us life.
2. Christ became a life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45). Today the Lord is the Spirit, and when we receive Christ into us, we have received the Spirit who gives life into our spirit. Hallelujah, Christ as the last Adam became a life-giving, life-imparting, Spirit, and this Spirit is with our spirit!
3. The Spirit is a compound Spirit, including all the elements of Christ’s divinity, humanity, death with its effectiveness, and resurrection with its power, as typified by the anointing oil in Exo. 30:23-25. Wow, what a rich, wonderful, compound, all-inclusive Spirit!
4. The compound Spirit that gives life is the Spirit of life, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, Christ Himself, and the indwelling Spirit spoken of in Rom. 8:2, 9-11. The compound Spirit today gives us life by indwelling us and imparting the divine life into every part of our being.
5. The Spirit has been intensified sevenfold to counteract the degradation of the church and produce the overcomers to fulfill God’s economy (Rev. 1:4). The seven Spirits in Revelation are not seven individual Spirits but one Spirit who has been intensified sevenfold to fulfill God’s economy.

Not being Held Back or Coming Short of the Completion of God’s Eternal Economy

As we dive into the word of God and see the rich significance and application of the Spirit of God in God’s move in His economy, we are filled with joy and hope: we can be produced as the overcomers for the Lord to fulfill His economy, not by ourselves but by this sevenfold intensified Spirit!

However, as the Lord opens our eyes to see this age, that is, the age of today’s Christianity and religion, we will realize that the Catholic church, the Protestant denominations, the Brethren assemblies, the Pentecostal churches, and all the free groups are held back by their imperfect and unscriptural theology.

There are many genuine seeking believers in Christianity today, but they are all held back from the central revelation of God, and they come short of the completion of God’s eternal economy because of their missing, negligence of, and opposition of these five critical points concerning the Spirit of God.

Their theology has bound, imprisoned, and limited God’s people, because they have not been brought to the full knowledge and understanding of God’s truth. Many in Christianity know they are saved, and even after ten years of being a believer they remain the same, not advancing unto maturity, because they don’t understand the complete truth.

Some of them even oppose the truth concerning the Spirit, saying that we should not speak of Christ being the Spirit. If you neglect or oppose these five critical points concerning the Spirit of God in God’s move, you can’t come to the full understanding and completion of God’s economy.

Paul said that God gave him the ministry of completing the word of God (Col. 1:25); today the word of God is completed, and we can see a clear vision of the eternal economy of God. Today we cans ee a complete revelation of the central purpose of God.

We need to therefore pray for our brothers and sisters in Christianity that the Lord may shine on them and they would see the truth of God’s economy so that they would grow in life unto maturity and come to the full knowledge and understanding of the complete truth.

Our God is moving, and we in the Lord’s recovery need to carry out the commission given to us by God to complete the race set before us.

The Lord wants us to know the completing ministry of Paul and be filled with the full knowledge and understanding of the truth, and He wants us to not be held back or come short of the completion of God’s eternal economy.

Furthermore, we need to speak the truth, praying that the eyes of the heart of our fellow believers would be enlightened so that they would also come to the full knowledge of the truth.

Lord, may we not be held back or come short of the completion of God’s eternal economy. Save us from having an incomplete, imperfect, and unscriptural truth, thus coming short before You. Oh Lord, bring us to the full knowledge and understanding of the truth. Grant us to see a governing and controlling vision of Your economy. We don’t want to miss or neglect any of the major aspects of the Spirit of God in the move of God’s eternal economy. Praise the Lord for the Spirit with our spirit – such a rich, compound, all-inclusive, life-giving, sevenfold intensified Spirit!

Being Produced by God to be His Overcomers to Accomplish His Eternal Economy Today

God must have a group of people who are the God-men; He must have a group of overcomers for Him to accomplish His eternal economy concerning the church issuing in the Body of Christ and consummating the New Jerusalem.

However, by ourselves and of ourselves we cannot become overcomers; overcomers are not made or worked out – they are produced by Christ in His intensification. Because of the degradation of the church, nearly all the believers in Christ have become defeated in their old man by Satan, sin, the world, and their flesh; therefore, they cannot accomplish God’s economy.

Hence, there is the need to have the overcomers. Many believers know that God predestinated us in eternity past, and in time He saved us; however, they may neglect the matter of the kingdom reward, thinking that, as long as they believe in the Lord, they will go to heaven.

Therefore, many believers may live as unbelievers do, indulging in their lusts and the pleasures of this age, thinking that, when the Lord comes back or when they die, they will go to heaven. Oh Lord Jesus!

There are two long chapters in Revelation where the Lord, after exposing the real situation of the churches and giving them the solution, He calls the overcomers (see Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 26-28; 3:5, 12, 21).

The Lord today is calling His overcomers, the God-men who are willing to be produced by God as His overcomers to accomplish God’s economy today.

In His seven epistles to the degraded churches, Christ is calling the defeated believers to be His overcomers by Himself as the sevenfold intensified Spirit for their experience of His organic salvation in His sevenfold intensification. The degradation of the church is mainly due to the fact that nearly all Christian workers have been distracted to take many things other than the New Jerusalem as their goal. Hence, under the degradation of the church, to be overcomers answering the Lord’s call, we need to overcome not only the negative things but even more the positive things which replace the New Jerusalem as the goal. Those who are not overcomers in this age will be touched by the second death, that is, they will not be cast into the lake of fire to suffer eternal torment (Rev. 20:11-15) but they will be in the outer darkness to be chastened for one thousand years (Matt. 25:21, 23, 30) until they are matured.

The Lord wants us to grow in life unto maturity and be produced as His overcomers in this age so that we may rule and reign with Him in the next, and in this age to accomplish His economy.

May we be those who answer the Lord’s call for overcomers today and give ourselves to Him to be produced as His overcomers to build up the church as His Body in this age, bring in the kingdom of God, and consummate the New Jerusalem.

May we not be held back by any impure, incorrect, and incomplete theology or opinion, but may we be up-to-date with the Lord and let Him work in us, according to the complete revelation in God’s word, to produce us as His overcomers in this age.

As those who are being produced as the Lord’s overcomers, our goal should be the New Jerusalem, the unique goal of God’s eternal economy.

For the New Jerusalem we want to grow in life, enjoy the Lord, be brought on to maturity, preach the gospel, edify the saints, perfect one another, and build up the church.

Lord Jesus, produce us as Your overcomers today for You to accomplish Your eternal economy concerning the church in this age so that You may bring in the kingdom and consummate the New Jerusalem. We want to respond to Your calling for overcomers: by Yourself as the sevenfold intensified Spirit, produce us as Your overcomers in this age! May we experience Your organic salvation in Your sevenfold intensification, and may we not be distracted to take anything else as our goal but the New Jerusalem!
