praise the Lord, we young people are engaged to the Lord! We love You, Lord!(Poland camp 2011)

Thank You Lord for giving me the chance to experience my first ever Poland YP Conference this year! Saints, in this camp I have experienced something that I have never did before! It was an eye opening conference that I will always remember.

All the messages were very touching and meaningful but I was really touched by the face that our life is like “a mouse trap” set up by Satan to trap us. A mouse trap consists of something attractive (the cheese) that will get the attention of the mouse, once it enters the trap then BAM!, it’s trapped forever unless someone come and set the mouse free. In our case, the Lord is here to set us free from Satan!

God is the one who created the Earth but the World is created by Satan! Yes, we do need to live in the world, we need to earn a living and to get educated etc, but I do admit that it’s so simple for us just to walk into the trap voluntarily and be trapped by Satan!

We must remember that we are here because we have been chosen to be the children of God’s and therefore we shall grow in God’s life instead of living in thick, dull darkness! Oh Lord Jesus, give us the experiences we need to grow in life and turn from the darkness into the light!

Whenever there is fear within me, the first thing I would do is just to call upon the Lord’s name and the fear would be gone within seconds. Oh Lord Jesus, You are my comfort! You are my everything and You are all that I ever need in life!

Another point that I really enjoyed is that, praise the Lord, we are engaged to Him! At this age, we shouldn’t really care about relationships as they just take up time that we could of have spent it on knowing the Lord!

We just simply need to build a loving, close, and deep relationship with the Lord. O, Lord, we want to know You more, love what You love, and hate what You hate! To know the Lord more, we need to simply eat and drink of Him daily.

To be honest, I haven’t really been putting the Lord first as I would usually make up lots of excuses when it comes to reading the Morning Revival and the Bible, or I will say I’ll do it in 10 minutes and eventually it will be forgotten.

But now as I’m engaged to the Lord, I need to spend more time to know Him and enjoy Him more! [sharing from sister Joey L. from her first Poland Camp]

Lord, thank You for speaking to me in Poland and opening my heart to You! I just want to spend more time knowing You and knowing Your purpose. I consecrate myself to You and I give all my relationships to You! Oh Lord Jesus, I love You inwardly and outwardly!
