Having a Personal Time and a Corporate Time of Enjoying the Lord in the Morning

July 20, 2017 by Guest God-man Blogger 2 Comments

My individual time with the Lord is vital as well as my corporate enjoyment with the saints.I always start my morning time with the Lord Jesus by calling upon His name and simply thanking Him for another day.

I usually say “Lord Jesus, I love You”. This helps my relationship with the Lord become sweeter every day.

And of course I would come to Him, opening myself to Him and asking Him to forgive me and cleanse me with His precious blood from all of my sins and shortcomings. This is how I start my day.

Since I live with some brothers, every morning we would come together and enjoy the holy word for morning revival portion for the day for about 20-30 minutes. We would pray-read some of the verses, read the excerpt and fellowship on the important points.

My individual time with the Lord is vital as well as my corporate enjoyment with the saints. My morning revival is strengthened whenever I have the enjoyment with the saints but I also realize it should not replace my personal time with the Lord. Both are needed for me.

Such a morning revival time really helps me personally to have the supply throughout the day, and it helps my preparation on the Lord’s day meeting in praising, worshipping and even in prophesying for the building up of the Body of Christ.

Sharing by Ronnel R. (Cebu City, Philippines) from his practice of enjoying the Lord in the morning – both individually and corporately.

Amen, walang paltos, when I wake up, I call upon the Name of the Lord to thank Him and praise Him for the new day, new life, new battle with Satan! I ask Him for protection throughout the day! Amen!!!
