in today’s world situation we can see the wheel of God’s economy turning: the Body is being built up!

Everything that is going on in the world, whether big changes or small things, is for the building up of the Body of Christ! Just as we see in Ezekiel ch. 1, there are wheels turning – the move of God’s New Testament economy is like the turning of a big wheel (see. Ezek. 1:15-21).

Every wheel has an axis, a center – the center of the wheel of God’s New Testament economy is the Body of Christ. In one sense it is Christ, but more specifically today Christ the Head is expressed through and one with the Body of Christ, the enlargement, continuation, and expression of Christ.

In God’s New Testament economy, what He desires to gain before Christ’s return is the church as the Body of Christ, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem. This means that all that God does today, all God’s move and work throughout the ages, is joined to the church and is for the church – the Body of Christ!

In every age and in every decade, with all the political changes, the unrest, the turmoil, etc – God is arranging everything for the Body of Christ to be produced and built up! It is such a great thing to see that events don’t happen randomly or worse, that changes in the world situation don’t take place because of some sort of a “conspiracy theory” – everything today is for the building up of the Body of Christ, for God to gain a corporate group of built up people as the Body for Christ!

If we know something about world history and would spend some time to study the Old Testament prophecies, we have to bow down and worship the Lord that indeed everything in the universe and all the world situations, whether political, military industrial, commercial, scientific, or educational, have the Body of Christ as the center They are all joined to and are for the Body of Christ.

There used to be a time when many Eastern European countries, including Russia, were under communism, and then, in an interval of a few years, what seemed impossible for decades actually happened: democracy was brought in!

Somehow, the Lord used the communism to preserve and prepare many hungry and seeking ones, and when democracy came, the doors were open for the gospel to come in.

More recently, the arabic countries start to be more open towards Christ especially due to the turmoils, the unrest, and the people being un-satisfied with an empty religion and empty forms, rituals, and promises.

As we see the world situation unfold, as we see the events taking place, and as we see countries unexpectedly having new leaders + dictatorships falling – we need to have God’s view of what’s going on. God is moving today, and the wheel of God’s economy – with the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom at its forefront – is turning everywhere on earth to save many and build up the Body of Christ!

The fall of communism was not accidental, and the growing realization that democracy and capitalism is not the right solution – this is not coincidental! God is working behind the scenes, arranging things and events, for the gospel to be preached, for the church to increase, for the seeking ones to find Christ and the church, for the Body of Christ to be built up, and for the Bride of Christ to be brought in!

How much we need to see the mystical Body of Christ – the mysterious organism God desires to have for Christ in God’s New Testament economy – being built up today in spite of and amidst all the world situation and world events!

Come Lord Jesus! Prepare us for Your coming! Grant us to see the things happening with Your eyes, Your view. Save us from being disheartened or from despairing – Lord, may Your kingdom come! Do what needs to be done in the world, in all the countries, so that Your gospel may be preached! May the Body of Christ be produced and built up! Gain a Bride for Christ! Consummate the New Jerusalem for Your ultimate move and for Your heart’s desire! May the wheel of God’s economy turn, go on, and accomplish God’s plan!
