God’s Intention is to Work on Man to Bring man to the Throne and Deal with Satan

March 30, 2017 by aGodMan 14 Comments

Rev. 3:21 He who overcomes, to him I will give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also covercame and sat with My Father on His throne. The Lord Jesus is the man-God on the throne, and God’s intention is to work on man to bring man to the throne – God wants man to deal with Satan and subdue him, bring in God’s kingdom, and represent God with His authority.

In order for us to be brought to the throne we need to have the many experiences of life that lead to such a high position; we need to pass through dealing with the flesh, the self, and the natural constitution; we need to accept the discipline of the Holy Spirit, deal with our spirit, be filled with the Spirit, and we will spontaneously come to know the Body in life.

Then, we will know ascension, and we will reign in life, being enthroned and experientially engaging in spiritual warfare. If we look at ourselves, however, we may be disappointed with where we are – we should not be introspective but have an aspiration before the Lord,

Lord, take me on, stage by stage, until I am on the throne with You! Do this before I finish my course on this earth, so that I may be one with You to carry out Your interest on earth!

God Desires to bring Man to the Throne to Deal with Satan’s Rebellion against God’s Throne

Psa. 8:4, 6 What is mortal man, that You remember him, and the son of man, that You visit him? ...For You have caused Him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under His feet.God’s mind is set on man; God wants man to express Him and to exercise His authority. God created man a little lower than the angels, but He wants to bring man all the way to the throne to rule over all things for God (Psa. 8:4, 6; Gen. 1:26).

However, in order for us to exercise God’s authority, we need to have a decisive and fundamental experience: we must have a genuine touch with God’s authority. It is like touching electricity: we know it’s there, but when we touch it, we are shocked by it; it may not kill us or hurt us, but it will shock us.

We may have a concept of God’s authority, but unless we touch God’s authority personally, we cannot reign or be people on the throne.

God desires to manifest Himself through man and to reign through man; He can only reign through those who have settled in their being that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to the enthroned Lord Jesus, and He has the supreme authority over all things and over us, and we serve Him as a slave under His authority.

Satan fears only one kind of person, the one who submits to Christ’s authority; he fears such a one because he realizes that he who is truly in submission to the authority of the enthroned Christ can represent authority, and such a one can deal with Satan.

God’s goal is to bring us to the throne and make us people of the throne; until we are on the throne, God’s will not be satisfied, He cannot receive full glory, His kingdom cannot come in full, and His enemy will not be subdued.

God desires to bring us to the throne because of the rebellion of Satan against God’s throne (see Isa. 14:12-14). The problem in this universe is that a creature of extraordinary capacity in the pre-adamic age asserted his will and became enamoured with his beauty (see Isa. 14 and Ezek. 28); he said, I will exalt my throne, I will be like the Most High.

Satan challenged God’s rule, His unique authority; he overstepped and established the principle of his operation, which is to trespass and be in rebellion toward God’s authority.

Satan injected this principle into fallen human beings along with his sinful nature, and now all human beings – whether they are naturally obedient to the law and authorities or they are by disposition rebellious – are in rebellion against God and reject God’s authority.

Even in serving the Lord, it is possible to serve according to the principle of Satan, without knowing it; when the service issues from the self, the self is the source of what you think and do, and the self is expressed; the whole service may be in the realm of the kingdom of Satan.

God desires to bring man to the throne so that we, based on the victory of Christ, would deal with Satan, the rebellious one, and would deal with any insubordination and rebellion against God. For us to be brought to the throne we need to allow God to deeply touch the principle of rebellion in our being.

God’s mind is on man (Heb. 2:6), and He wants man to express Him and to exercise His authority. Man has God’s image and God’s dominion with His authority. God desires to manifest Himself through man, and He desires to reign, to administrate, through man. God’s intention is to cast Satan down and to redeem many of those taken captive by Satan and bring them to His throne. God cannot receive the full glory until we are brought to the throne. One day we will be brought to the throne, and then God will be able to boast to Satan. He will triumphantly declare that His chosen ones, who had been taken captive by Satan, have been brought to the throne. Witness Lee, Life-study of Ezekiel, p. 127No one who is rebellious can deal with the rebel. The Lord must enlighten us and apply the cross with its marvelous deliverance to our being, so that we may have the clear sense that this has been touched at the root.

We need to be enlightened of our problem, open to the Lord’s word, and let Him work through the environment and in us so that He may deal with the root of the principle of rebellion in our being. The work of God is our representing Him with His authority to cause Satan to sustain fatal loss on earth.

So much of the work in the church – which is necessary – is for the need of man, such as saving man, perfecting man, teaching the truth, shepherding, etc; but God has a need: there’s a rebellion in the universe, and He wants to deal with it.

There is a rebellious creature who established a kingdom based on rebellion, and God will not lower Himself to deal with this rebellious creature; God must have man, a creature, to deal with Satan, a creature.

In doing the work of God – that of dealing with Satan – we cannot spare ourselves; there may be pain, trouble, suffering, and embarrassment, but the Lord must have a people who can deal with Satan.

God wants to bring man to the throne in our life time in an experiential way so that we may be in ascension, look down on earth, see the situation, and deal with the enemy.

Lord Jesus, take us with You stage by stage until we are being brought to the throne in our experience. We want to be one with You to carry out Your interest on earth. Deal with the rebellion in our being. May we have the experiences we need so that any rebellion and insubordination in our being would be touched to the root and dealt with. Lord, cause us to see Your supreme authority; cause us to realize that the enthroned Jesus rules over all things. Enlighten us and apply the cross to our being so that any rebellion would be rooted out, and we would be those under God’s authority who can represent God with His authority!

God’s Intention is to Work on Man to Bring man to the Throne and Deal with Satan

God desires to bring us to the throne because of the rebellion of Satan against God’s throne (Isa. 14:12-14). The greatest difficulty God faces in the universe is that His throne has been opposed and attacked by rebel forces. In his rebellion against God’s throne, Satan intended to exalt his throne and thereby to intrude upon God’s authority. From the time of Satan’s rebellion until now, there has been a dispute regarding authority; much of what is happening on earth today is an expression of Satan’s resistance to God’s throne. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel, outline 8God’s intention is to cast Satan down and to redeem many of those taken captive by Satan and bring them to His throne (Rev. 3:21). The greatest difficulty God faces in the universe is that His throne has been opposed and attacked by rebel forces.

Satan, in his rebellion against the throne of God, intended to exalt his throne and thereby to intrude upon God’s authority.

From the time of Satan’s rebellion until now, there has been a dispute regarding authority: there is God’s authority, and there’s Satan’s rebellion against God’s authority. If you look at the things happening today, much of what we see is an expression of Satan’s resistance to God’s throne.

Where on earth can the Lord find a people who cooperate with Him in His ruling? Definitely not in Christianity who, as a system, is lawless, rebellious, and rejecting the truth.

The Lord Jesus was a man fully under the authority of God, and through Him God’s authority could be manifested. But what about us: are we qualified to be on the throne in our present condition? Do we behave like a king who reigns with Christ? What is our spiritual weight before the Lord?

This is a very serious matter; we are sons of God who are destined to be kings, but we need God to work in us and on us to qualify us for kingship.

We need to have many dealings such as being delivered from sin, overcoming the world, dealing with the flesh, having our natural constitution broken, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and sitting in the heavenly realm, where we can reign with Christ over all things and in all things.

There must be a people gained by God through whom the authority of God can be executed and the kingdom of God can come upon the earth! God’s intention is to cast Satan down and to redeem many of us, those taken captive by Satan, to bring us to His throne.

God’s intention is to cast Satan down and to redeem many of those taken captive by Satan and to bring them to His throne (Rev. 3:21). There needs to be a people who have been gained by God so that through them the authority of God can be executed and the kingdom of God can come to the earth (11:15; 12:10). Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel, outline 8What a victory it is for Him to redeem us, regenerate us, save us, transform us, perfect us, build us up, and make us His co-kings to be part of His bridal army who are one with Him to deal a final death-blow to His enemy!

We were satanified by the enemy and made into rebels, but God worked on us and in us to make us an army of kings to defeat His enemy! The manifestation of the kingdom cannot coexist on earth with the human government and the satanic kingdom, so right now we need to be prepared as the coming smiting stone for God’s enemy to be dealt with!

There needs to be a people who have been gained by God so that through them the authority of God can be executed and the kingdom of God can come on the earth (Rev. 11:15; 12:10).

Lord Jesus, we want to be the people who are being gained by God so that through us the authority of God can be executed and the kingdom of God can come to the earth! We give ourselves to You, Lord, to cooperate with Your work within us to prepare us and bring man to the throne. We want to cooperate with Your ruling within us and have any rebellion uprooted and dealt with. Lord Jesus, bring us all the way to the throne so that, no matter where we are, we can rule and reign over that which God wants us to rule and reign!

    # Submitted to God’s ruling, / All virtue thus will win; / Rebellion to His Headship / Is but the root of sin. / The evil aim of Satan- / God’s throne to overthrow; / Our aim and goal is ever / His rule to fully know. (Hymns #941)
    # From the beachhead in our spirit / To our mind, emotion, will. / Christ will spread through all our being / And our vessel wholly fill. / He will cast out all rebellion, / Change our darkness into light. / Satan’s kingdom will be swallowed, / And Christ will reign with might. / This is the Lord’s recovery, / This is His very best! / Brothers, give the Lord the ground in you / Till His kingdom’s manifest. (Hymns #1297)
    # Today we must learn to submit to His throne, / How to have a strict life and His government own; / His authority then we’ll be able to share, / o’er the nations to rule with God’s Son as the heir. (Hymns #947)

A Christian who is up to the standard has not only been delivered from sin, overcome the world, had his flesh dealt with and his natural constitution broken, been filled with the Holy Spirit, and is sitting in the heavenly realm, but even more he is reigning with Christ in all things. Whether in God’s work, in the church, at home, or in any encounter in his environment, he can reign and rule over that which God wants him to rule. There must be such people gained by God so that through them the authority of God can be executed, and the kingdom of God can come upon the earth. The Lord brings us through seven stages of overcoming, gaining the throne in the seventh. Were the church is as lukewarm that each does what is right in his own eyes, the way to the throne is offered. To sit in this throne is to share the very covenant heart of the Father and the Son in authority over all the angels and all creation. Blessed are they that come through the hail of rebukes and keep the commandments to the seventh church.

But salvation is gift and just like any other gift, we could either treasure it or put it to waste. Therefore, we need to cooperate for his salvation plan to work on us.
