enjoying God in the house of God: beholding His beauty, tasting His goodness, and being saturated!

October 4, 2011 by aGodMan 1 Comment

enjoying God in the house of God: beholding His beauty, tasting His goodness, and being saturated!Today in the morning revival we are enjoying three main verses in the book of Psalms which show the sweet and lovely enjoyment of God in the house of God. Our God is so enjoyable! And He wants us to be in His house enjoying Him corporately – feasting on Him, being saturated with Him, and being filled with joy!

Dwelling in His house to behold His beauty!

“One thing I have asked from Jehovah; That do I seek: To dwell in the house of Jehovah All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in His temple.” This verse in Psa. 27:4 is so precious and dear to our heart – expressing our deepest feelings towards God and His house.

Though this is not THE TOP verse when it comes to the house of God, here we see that our God is a loveable person! God is not only a righteous and holy God but also a lovely and loveable God! When we spend some time with God in His house, we will realize that God is a loveable Person in a lovely place!

Our God is enjoyable – and He created us with the need for enjoyment… In the house of God we know and testify that God Himself is so enjoyable and pleasant! Praise the Lord, our God is an enjoyable God in an enjoyable house! This means that there’s loveliness, pleasantness, and delightfulness here – to behold the beauty of the Lord is pleasant, delightful, and lovely!

Taste and see that the Lord is Good!

Psa. 34:8 says, “Taste and see that Jehovah is good; Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.” We can taste and see that the Lord is good in the house of God! We don’t have to DEBATE or BE CONVINCED – no, we need to TASTE and SEE! In the house of God, in His dwelling place, we taste of the Lord and we testify that He is good! God is good in Christ, in the church, and ultimately in the New Jerusalem – our God is tasty!

Saturated with the fatness of His house!

Psa. 36:8-9 says, “They are saturated with the fatness of Your house, And You cause them to drink of the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.” Here we see the four in one: the fatness, the river, the fountain, and us – just like in Eph. 4:4-6 where we have the Father, the Son, the Spirit, and the Body!

Hallelujah, we are SATURATED – which means that we are soaked and permeated with the fatness of His house! The all-inclusive Christ as the reality of all the offerings has been processed and consummated to be our exquisite enjoyment. And we are drenched, soaked, and saturated with the enjoyment of this wonderful Christ!

This saturation is “a house matter”! The Lord doesn’t force us to drink, but He causes us to drink of the river of His pleasures! These pleasures are paradisical enjoyments – just as He said in John 15:11, My joy will be in you and your joy will be made full.

Praise the Lord, in the house of God we can drink of the river of God’s pleasures and we can be saturated with the fatness of His house! The Father is the fountain of life – and in His light, we see light subjectively!

We can live a life in the system of Government only through an ever-increasing enjoyment of the processed Triune God in the system of grace.

I’m so happy in this lovely place, in the garden growing and flowing in His grace – here we can enjoy God and be saturated with God! But don’t be tempted to remain here – we need to have a great step forward to see the city of God! When the church is enlarged, strengthened, and built up, the house of God becomes the city of God as the kingdom for God-King to rule and reign! [sharing inspired from the message entitled, The House and the City, and quoted partially in the Morning Revival on the Crystallization-Study of Psalms (1); Intro: the Topmost Enjoyment]

Lord Jesus, how lovely You are and how enjoyable You are in Your house! Keep us here beholding Your beauty! We want to take time to behold You, dear Lord! Thank You we can taste and see that the Lord is good – He is tasty and delicious to us in His house! Lord, saturate us with the fatness of Your house! Give us to drink of the river of Your pleasures! Indeed, Lord, with You is the fountain of life, and in Your light we see light!
