Christ in His ascension: His attainments, obtainments, the fulness of joy, and pleasures forever!

Christ in His ascension: His attainments, obtainments, the fulness of joy, and pleasures forever!picture source: Glorious Sky Watch]The spirit of the Bible is to exalt Christ, and in Psalm 16 we see a revelation of Christ as a wonderful Person in God’s economy! We need to see this Christ and appreciate Him for what He is and what He does.

We need to ask the Lord to heal our eyes and remove any veils from our eyes that we may see Jesus Christ. By our getting into the Psalms day by day we can see a wonderful Person, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God’s delight and the One who fulfills His purpose.

A fresh seeing of Christ in His processes in Psalm 16

I am so happy that every morning we are being brought to see Christ in a fresh way. What a Christ! This One was with the Father in eternity past having only divinity (and no humanity).

But one day, according to God’s plan, Christ became a man and put on human nature through His incarnation. He lived a perfect and beautiful human life for thirty three and a half years, fully expressing God.

Then He died on the cross and entered into death to accomplish God’s redemption according to God’s eternal plan, His economy.

But He didn’t remain in death – Christ came out of death and entered into resurrection! In His resurrection, Christ brought His humanity into divinity to be begotten as God’s firstborn Son, He regenerated the believers to be the many sons of God, and He became the life-giving Spirit.

He is now as the Spirit in our spirit to be our life and life supply. After He resurrected, Christ entered into ascension – He ascended to the heavens to attain many positions and obtain many qualifications.

This morning we were enjoying the Lord’s process and especially His ascension as revealed in Psalm 16.

Christ in His ascension – His attainments and obtainments

Psa. 16:11 says, You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures forever. Praise the Lord, He was ascended to the heavens!

In His ascension Christ is in God’s presence enjoying fullness of joy – Christ attained to many things in His ascension! Some of the attainments of Christ in His ascension are – He attained to the kingship, to the lordship, to the ruling leadership, to the qualification of being a Saviour to save others (Acts. 5:31).

He attained to many things and He obtained many qualifications.

Christ is now at the right hand of God, at the highest point in universe, to surpass all for the accomplishment of God’s eternal economy concerning the church(which is the Body of Christ). Christ is now the King, the Ruler, the Savior, and even THE CHRIST for the accomplishment of God’s economy! He is enjoying fullness of joy in God’s presence, and at His right hand there are pleasures forever!

We need to see such a Christ in all His processes and His attainments and obtainments, as unveiled in Psalm 16! This One, this Christ with His incarnation, human living, death, resurrection, and ascension, is the man that can sojourn in God’s temple and dwell on God’s holy mountain (Psa. 15:1).

Praise the Lord for such a God-man! [sharing inspired from the life-study of Psalms as quoted in the Morning Revival on the Crystallization-Study of the Psalms]

Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see You and open our mind to apprehend and know You! Continue to unveil us, Lord, as we read the Bible and as we go through the Psalms. We want to see the Christ uplifted by the Bible – the Christ in the Psalms. This One was incarnated, lived a perfect human life, entered into death, and was resurrected! Praise You for being also ascended to the highest position in the universe! You are now enjoying fullness of joy and there are pleasures forever at Your right hand!
